Reference editing[edit]

Hi, I've just read your note about making unnecessary changes to references, but the link you left doesn't indicate where the 'Christmas tree', in question, is located. Can you please point me to the issue? Without context, I can't speak to the edits. Thanks. Dnllnd (talk) 17:48, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Colin Rutherford, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Green Beret. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Old userspace "articles"[edit]

I notice that you still have many old (more than one year, often more than five years old) "rough notes" articles about BLPs (often accused of or involved with criminal or contentious activities) in your user space. Per WP:FAKEARTICLE, these should be deleted if they can't be moved to the mainspace. These include pages like User:Geo Swan/Amir Hamza (Balkh) (created in April 2012, never edited since, clear BLP violation), User:Geo Swan/Fa‘iz al-Shanbari (created in 2009, last edited in 2012), and User:Geo Swan/working/Adel Nakhla (created in 2007, last edited by you in 2010).

There have been previous requests for you to go through your user space and remove all such pages. Please check all your user space subpages and request deletion for all stale drafts (even if they are called "rough notes"), userfied articles, BLPs and the like. I notice that you have edited since my post, and even replied here to another post, but haven't done anything about the above problems nor replie here to acknowledge that you are busy doing this. Perhaps you simply missed my post. Could you please indicate what you plan to do about this and in what timeframe? Fram (talk) 08:17, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I moved these stale drafts links onto one page User:Geo_Swan/Stale_drafts before I noticed these posts from Fram and another higher up from User:Ricky81682 so pinging them. Legacypac (talk) 17:38, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

reply from my talk page re guantanamo[edit]

Hi Geo Swan, sorry for the delay. I believe I did respond to you last time but it has been a while. I am happy for the two projects to be merged if you believe they are lists of the same thing, be bold and merge and I will have no problem with it. I am currently quite busy in real life so wont be able to dedicate too much time to Wikipedia apart from the occasional gnomish edits and quick fixes. All the best.Calaka (talk) 00:32, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
