FYI... In your last edit, you added a ref that wasn't used and it was missing a ref tag. I'm not sure what you had planned, so I removed it. Do what is needed.

Also, you were wikilinking the language parameter in the cite template. This gives off an error and places the article into category:CS1 maint: Unrecognized language. Just use plaintext "Spanish" or "es". Bgwhite (talk) 07:50, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sanmar Denizcilik, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rolls Royce. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:14, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ted Cruz[edit]

I have no idea what you were trying to do in your recent edit to Ted Cruz, but you have violated WP:BLP as the sources you used for adding contentious material are not high quality reliable sources per BLP policy. Politrukki (talk) 13:11, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe I have had any prior contact with User:Politrukki. My edit had the edit summary "add references". The edit summary from Politrukki's reversion was "Undid revision 713899294 by Geo Swan (talk): per WP:BLP"
Since I had merely included the references, in the references section, and had not added any text that cited them, I dispute I lapsed from compliance with WP:BLP. Geo Swan (talk) 17:05, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I forgot to say hi! I don't believe we have been introduced.
I was – and still am – dumbfounded by your edit, because you seem to be very experienced editor. I would be delighted if you could enlighten me, but if you were going to add some content per your sources, please don't repeat any rumours.
  1. You added references without adding any visible content.
  2. The references apparently weren't connected to anything that is currently included in the article.
  3. The sources you used were tabloids and some book. I didn't even bother to follow the links, but my guess is that they contain the same kind of rumours that have circulated on social media. If you were going to add something from these sources, they would hardly produce anything useful anyway. See WP:BLPSOURCES.
  4. Perhaps I'm overzealous in interpreting WP:BLP, but I think that even so called hidden content – in this case insinuations, however vague, in URLs and quotes you added in quote parameter – is "material" that falls under WP:BLP. Politrukki (talk) 19:04, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  1. I created those references when I was working on other articles. I thought those references were relevant to Ted Cruz. I thought actual content should reference references like those. That was going to be my next step. I got interrupted by the activities of daily life. I didn't see that as a problem, as unused references don't show.
  2. Yeah, see above.
  3. You didn't follow the links -- just guessed at what they contain? Ooo... Are you sure that is defensible?
  4. I agree, you are taking BLP far too far. When Cruz has gone, on record, responding to an allegation, that definitely establishes the allegation as something that can be covered in ways that fully comply with WP:BLP, WP:UNDUE, etc.

OK, got it. Thanks! Let's continue the discussion on Talk:Ted Cruz if there's something to discuss. I apologize for accusing you of violating BLP policy so bluntly. I should have been more tentative. Politrukki (talk) 21:06, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sabrina De Sousa[edit]

There was a superfluous </ref> introduced while you were converting to list-defined references, which made the article give an "empty ref" error. By the time I realized that was the problem, you'd removed it with your intervening edit. Choess (talk) 04:15, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
