A tag has been placed on Allan Warren requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Allan Warren - references[edit]

In the article "Allen Warren" you have given references to two books. However, you have given only the titles, with no other details, such as author, publisher, etc. Apart from the fact that this clearly is less helpful to potential users who might want to check the references, there is also the danger that it might be decided that the references are unverifiable, and they might be deleted. I have added the relevant details to your references so you don't have to do anything now, but I thought it might be helpful to mention it for future use. Allan Warren images[edit]

You uploaded several images attributed to Allan Warren without applying any copyright tag to them and without receiving the author's freely licenced consent. The copyright holder should send us their permission by following the procedure on WP:PERMISSION not just placing a copy of his email to you in the file. You should also note that permission limited to Wikipedia is not sufficient for us we require that images be available for anyone to use it for any purpose. I will be nominating all the images for deletion and if they are deleted before his permission arrives they can be restored by the OTRS team, so make sure to have him mention the images' names in his permission email. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page for a better understanding of many image copyright issues like this one. Hope that helps. ww2censor (talk) 03:11, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you add the date to the Noel Coward photo Noel Coward Allan warren? Thanks! -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:21, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Laurence Olivier Allan Warren.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Photo captions[edit]

Please see WP:CAPTION#Credits, which says "Unless relevant to the subject, do not credit the image author or copyright holder in the article. It is assumed that this is not necessary to fulfill attribution requirements of the GFDL or Creative Commons licenses as long as the appropriate credit is on the image description page. If the artist or photographer is independently notable, though, then a wikilink to the artist's biography may be appropriate." Please note that the wikilink to which it refers is about the image page, not the biography. Stop returning credits to photos used in articles. Wildhartlivie (talk) 20:14, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
