Hi. It is currently being used by their official student publication, The Benildean and perhaps, the school's official name is De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. Also, to help further determine the chronology of the NCAA teams, since CSJL precedes CSB. I noticed this was the case since the NCAA Season 84, but I haven't given it much thought. Is it because Colegio comes before College? Same goes with LSGH, as there are NCAA basketball seasons that it comes before, such as Season 86 and Season 87, and it comes after, like in the case of Season 91 and Season 92, JRU and EAC-ICA.

WP:NC is our standard. Benildeans refer to their school as "CSB" or "Benilde" in that preference in everybody speech. Varsity teams use one among "CSB", "Benilde", "Saint/St. Benilde" or "Blazers". "DLS-CSB" is never used in actual language. Sure, CSB itself may call it that way, or may even prefer for everybody else to call them that way, but if the rest of the world don't, we follow the rest of the world.

FWIW, the official name is "De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde", that's why it is after Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Howard the Duck (talk) 03:49, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Noted. But for LSGH, should it come before or after JRU and EAC-ICA? There are inconsistencies in different basketball seasons. Also, shouldn't University of Santo Tomas precede University of the East and University of the Philippines? Or are articles not considered in the school's official name?

The monstrosity that's EAC-ICA should just have been ICA or EAC (unless proven otherwise). The order in NCAA Season 95 basketball tournaments#Schedule 2 should be the correct order... gah I noticed you also used changed these into acronyms on this one. How horrible! I don't remember someone from Letran actually blurting out "he's from C-S-J-L". This should have corresponded on how the varsity article names are called. But Letranites use it in their school cheers anyway. Apologies. I am just a creature of habit. EAC-ICA has been used since NCAA Season 85, so I kept it that way. I noticed EAC-ICA is printed in the Brigadiers' jerseys, pretty much like CSB-LSGH. If that is the case, are we gonna use prevalent terms instead of the official school names? Their most popular cheer that spells out something is L-E-T-R-A-N. My position is this is to use whatever the name of the article is as per WP:NC. For example, for "Adamson Falcons" use "Adamson" exclusively, not "AdU Falcons" or "AdU" (this looks terrible in prose). This means we'd be using "Letran," "Benilde," and "Perpetual". EAC-IAC and CSB-LSGH are different; from what I know in LSGH's case, they are mandated to carry the name of "CSB" when playing in the NCAA. Elsewhere they go by "LSGH" or "La Salle". I dunno with EAC-IAC. In these cases I'd go with the most popular short name of the school, for EAC-IAC I don't know the answer to this, but for the Malayan High School of Science it's either "Malayan" or "Mapua", with the Malayan name used in more WP:RS. 'Prime Ministers' map

Hello, your map showing which countries in the world have used the office of Prime Minister (or equivalent) shows Oman as blank, ie as not having a PM or ever using such an office.

However, this is incorrect: Tariq bin Taimur, uncle to Sultan Qaboos and father of the present Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, held the position of Prime Minister from 1970 to 1972. I actually copied the committee description coming from the House Rules on to the page’s lead. I would assume that the rules coming from the HOR is a public domain so I did it and included a reference note that it was lifted from a public domain document. Just today, I checked that the speedy deletion tag was already removed and the committee description based from the House Rules was also removed as well. Duterte Youth seat?

Hi, regarding the seats for Duterte Youth in the House of the Representatives, as per my understanding the party-list already has a seat, albeit unoccupied by an individual representative, hence I set the "number of seats" of the partylist as 1. Are there any precedent that I am not aware of, of not counting vacant seats?Hariboneagle927 (talk) 04:20, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Precedent: When a congressman vacates the seat you deduct that seat from the party totals. Also, Senior Citizens were "reserved" two seats in the 16th Congress but none of them were sworn in until that adjourned sine die so they got a big fat egg in our tallies. Re: Template:Politics of the Philippines

I just want to ask why the seals of offices and congress chambers were removed by you previously, since Template:Politics of the United States has their respective seals. Also, I also do not understand why you removed floor leaders in Template:Politics of the Philippines, when Template:Politics of the United States has these. I believe you're doing a classic example of WP:OSE. The U.S. is a two-party system. Most Americans know what those blue and red colors stand for, and by extension the respective floor leaders of each house of the U.S. Congress. If they're brilliant they'd even know who the party whips, even down to the state level are.

In the Philippines, Congress is structured as if there are 2 competing political forces when it isn't. I suppose the more analogous comparison is Template:Politics of Indonesia. Both large Southeast Asian countries, unitary presidential republics with bicameral legislatures in a multi-party system. Guess how that looks like. Howard the Duck (talk) 14:20, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

I also noticed you removed the link for Party-list representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, which was pretty much bad idea to do. And if you're adding floor leaders, you should add in the deputy speakers, all 20(?) of them right? These deputy speakers preside more often than the actual speaker, FYI. 1990 Cordillera Autonomous Region creation plebiscite

I have just moved the 1990 Cordillera Autonomous Region creation plebiscite DYK hook into the queue, but I am concerned about the results table diagram in top right of the page, which I think is very confusing. The percentage figures on the left seem to represent percentages of different things, the red and green boxes at the foot don't help much, and there is no caption to clarify what's what. Can you specify what are you asking for? I checked and the map and the results table correspond to each other. The three places where the "no" vote got 70% or more has the darkest red shade, while the only place where the "yes" vote was shaded green.

There are only two choices (yes, or for autonomy, and red, against autonomy), so you can stack yes/no results into a bar graph of two colors. A result of 51% yes means 49% no, so it'll be light green. See for example this for an example with more gradients. Howard the Duck (talk) 12:37, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

The difference between your diagram and the BREXIT one is that it has a helpful legend which makes it clear that certain colours indicate percentages in favour of remaining while others indicate percentages in favour of leaving, and also it has an explanatory caption at the bottom. Hello. I saw that you remodeled List of presidents of the Philippines to a new, simpler version. I can agree with you that your version of the list is better, and I myself added certain changes to it. But, when you remodeled the list and removed the previous version, you also created quite a mess with footnotes in the list, with a lot of red lines of non-existing but invoked footnotes. I understand your suggestion, and I may even agree with it (to some extent), but I certainly don't intend to do it by myself. That list has quite a few footnotes, and it would be a nightmare to nuke them all and create new footnotes from zero (if that is your intention). It was quite a task to "catch" all the footnotes that existed prior to your remodeling of the list, and eliminate all those red lines of non-existing but invoked footnotes. I really have no desire to spend even more time working on that list, except for some minor changes. But, since you remodeled the list (and I'm certainly not opposed to your version), I would be interested to see your idea for the footnotes, so feel free to implement it if you want. — Sundostund (talk) 16:54, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

I've been thinking this over and I do suggest nuking it; some footnotes are old are dead links. Some no longer note something because it was remodeled. The article has too many explanations when it has to be a list and should have little of that, at least on the actual list.
