Speedy deletion of Mel Coomans[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mel Coomans requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Sports governing bodies in Australia[edit]

Hi Hutchie 91, thanks for your edit to Template:Sports governing bodies in Australia. I would suggest that the best place to look for evidence for Australian government recognition is ASC Recognition and the following download National Sporting Organisations recognised by the Australian Sports Commission (as at February 2012). Your newest article[edit]

As someone who works with education articles here, I have to say that your newest article about an academic lecturer has no currently significant claims of Notability and therefore is a concern so, if you can, you should state whether he's a significantly known figure in his field since we judge by WP:PROF. Speedy deletion nomination of File:KA-AOKC-2017.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:KA-AOKC-2017.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it.
