Notice

The article Edwin Adams Cotto has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject appears to be non-notable. The applicable standard is WP:CRIME. Since there is no other article into which the content could be incorporated, that standard provides that a criminal should have an article only if either a) the victim is a renowned figure or b) the motivation for or execution of the crime was unusual or otherwise noteworthy. Neither applies: there was no apparent victim, and the commission of the crime appears perfectly ordinary. (The article also fails WP:GNG since there is only one reference.) Therefore, the subject is not notable, and the article should be deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hopes and wishes for Puerto Rico

Hi, Antonio! It's been awhile!

It's not entirely about Wikipedia but I still recall one of our first Wikipedia discussions was about how to treat Puerto Rico in a list in regards to the U.S. I know Puerto Rico being distinct was something of your POV. I have some thoughts:

Based on the GA senate runoffs there's a chance Puerto Rico will be admitted into the union as our first majority Spanish-speaking state! My state, Texas, has a bit of an identity as its own nation as it was independent for years and still flies the state flag as the same height as the federal one. While it's firmly a part of the U.S. now it has its own identity and flavor.

I'm personally hoping Puerto Rico is admitted soon so it can be a nation of its own, with its own culture, language, and people, that also a part of the American fabric that is equal to New York, California, etc., one that can vote for U.S. president and Congress. That way it has the best of both worlds so to speak.

WhisperToMe (talk) 04:40, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

  • Hi Whisper!

That must have been years ago! Probably even a decade or more ago! I still hope for Puerto Rican independence, but I guess now we will have to see. The last election was sort of a winning and losing proposition for me: I wanted Biden to win but knew Puerto Rico could become a state if he did...so I guess I won some but I might lose some (?) lol...

Or maybe things will never change..I mean look at me Im 48 now and still wearing my Billy Eilish t-shirt I bought yesterday at Hot Topic so there are things that never truly change, like me wearing what I want without caring for others' opinions..lol

Anyways, as I said, we'll have to wait and see!

God bless you! Antonio Billie Eilish Fan Martin (here) 00:03, 7 January, 2021 (UTC)

A common first impression, but I'm actually a cheap imitation of the orange Hulk. When I get "angry" night after night here, I just point the finger, bounce off the ropes and land on my own ass, beats hurting my opponents for real. That comic book version is a legit dangerous yahoo, though, I hope the Army does catch him one day! InedibleHulk (talk) 06:36, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Timestamps

Hi. Because I use a script (based on one used by others: Wikipedia:Comments in Local Time) that renders timestamps on talk pages adjusted to local time and in a format I prefer, I noticed that you appear to be manually inserting your own timestamps instead of using 5 tildes, or using 4 tildes to insert the complete signature. Sometimes, they include a comma after the month name, which doesn't match the standard format (or the search string in the script). The times are also usually incorrect, which can be confusing. They are about an hour later than UTC, plus or minus a couple minutes, based on the page history. Example: Special:Diff/998765780 ends with the text "00:03, 7 January2021 (UTC)", but was posted at 23:04, 6 January (UTC). I'd suggest using the automatic timestamps. Thanks! —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 05:18, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

  • If you have an issue with the close, take it to WP:DRV. That's pretty much the entire purpose of DRV. The first two lines at Wikipedia:Deletion_review#Purpose read "Deletion review may be used: if someone believes the closer of a deletion discussion interpreted the consensus incorrectly;". Please see WP:TPO, where one of the first lines read "Never edit or move someone's comment to change its meaning, even on your own talk page.". We don't edit others comments - even if they are wrong. I haven't read the AfD, and I don't have an opinion on whether or not Ritchie333 for it wrong or right. SQLQuery me! 02:59, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

Timestamps II

Please see #Timestamps above. Your timestamps continue to be in the wrong format and, more importantly, have the wrong time values. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 05:43, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

I'll also note that you're marking all your contributions lately as "minor", most of which should not be according to WP:MINOR. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 20:49, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi Alan thanks for the comments. I'd answered right away but have been battling pain on each of my bones these days so as you can imagine, it's easier to be playing GTAV on my computer (which I love) than doing Wikipedia chores ..lol but I read WP:Minor and you're right. I should at least explain some of the edits. To be honest I don't spend a lot of time reading Wikipedia policy, because there are SO many of them. I am from the time when there was fewer policies and Wikipedia was-or at least, seemed-more relaxed. Nowadays we have rule 1, version 3,000, line 65 of that version, and section A, B, C, D. E, F, etc etc, of line 65. That sounds like too much to read to me! Thanks for your messages and I also will see Timestamps, God bless you! Antonio Man Getting Old Martin (dime?) 01:18, February 15, 2021 (UTC)
Just make the time stamp with five ~~~~~ instead of writing the time manually. Signatures should use UTC time and not your own time zone. The normal way to sign is four ~~~~ but I see you vary what to say on the user talk link. That's very unusual and doesn't work with the normal way to make signatures at Special:Preferences. It also means that you may have problems pinging other users. PrimeHunter (talk) 17:26, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Amador Granados

Margarita Darbinyan moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Margarita Darbinyan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. • Thanks Ipigott! I had no idea that women were so miss-represented on Wikipedia until a couple years ago...might have to do with the fact that in certain areas, like politics and sports, men tend to get all the media attention (and in some cases were the only ones allowed to participate until recently, and in cases like baseball are still the only ones allowed to participate)...time to change that! A tag has been placed on Trans Tropic Airlines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ♠PMC(talk) 10:20, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
