Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Monica Loughman. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Monica Loughman, you may be blocked from editing. I need to update this page for monica! Jodie82uk (talk) 05:24, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I’m monica’s Pa. The info on this page is incorrect. Why are you doing that? Jodie82uk (talk) 05:27, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Monica Loughman. Materialscientist (talk) 05:30, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I’m just trying to update it. I work for monica! Jodie82uk (talk) 06:18, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There are severalf problems with your submission. You cannot post copyright material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder, unless special licensing permissions are in place. That is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, and all content must have the appropriate documentation in place before that can happen. Please see Wikipedia:donating copyrighted materials which explains how it works. Also, we require citations to verifiable and reliable sources for any content you add.
Another problem is conflict of interest. Editing an article about yourself or your employer is strongly discouraged, as it is difficult to maintain the required neutral point of view. According to our terms of use, paid editors and people editing on behalf of their employer are required to disclose their conflict of interest by posting a notice on their user page or talk page. See below. — Diannaa (talk) 12:32, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jodie82uk. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Monica Loughman, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:32, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
