Speedy deletion nomination of Colin Dimmick
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Colin Dimmick requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Angelo Michael (talk) 00:49, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Viegas Architecture Ltd
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Viegas Architecture Ltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jennie Matthews 97 (talk) 22:34, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Liv and Maddie episodes, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hello Keenan202, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to List of Good Luck Charlie episodes has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AussieLegend (✉) 18:53, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Dogmaticeclectic. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Nickelodeon (Canada) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! International release/broadcast sections
[edit]Please note, per MOS:TV#Broadcast, international release/broadcast sections of articles should only detail English language broadcasts and should preferably do so in prose form. You've recently changed a number of articles so that a table showing all countries, including some articles that have already been converted to comply with the MOS, effectively reverting the work that was done. Please do not do this again. --AussieLegend (✉) 17:09, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Keenan202, I've re-written the one at Fanboy and Chum Chum, but it's further problematic because none of the data provided has any references. How do we know when a series premiered in Croatia? What's the reliable source for that? I wouldn't be surprised if your contributions were reverted by other editors for not being consistent with MOS:TV#Broadcast, but also for not being sourced. :( If there's any way you can bolster these tables with references, that would be helpful. List of Sanjay and Craig broadcasters and List of Sam & Cat broadcasters
[edit]MOS:TV#Broadcast says that only English language broadcasts be included and that the information should preferably be in prose form. This information already exists at Sanjay and Craig and Sam & Cat. Accordingly, the above articles have been redirected. --AussieLegend (✉) 03:06, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit] When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Phineas and Ferb (season 4), please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. AussieLegend (✉) 03:25, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- Apparently you misunderstood the above.[1] The YouTube links are LINKVIOS. JesúsAntonio803 appears to be somebody who has uploaded the videos to YouTube and in doing so has violated copyright. Those videos cannot be liked to. --AussieLegend (✉) 03:38, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of programmes broadcast by Nickelodeon (UK & Ireland) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

FX Australia Move
[edit]Hello Keenan202,
I see that you have moved FX (Australia) to FX (Australia and New Zealand). I have been searching for an article or any form of announcement saying the channel is launching in New Zealand with no luck. Can you please inform me of why you believe the channel is to launch in New Zealand. If you cannot provide me with a reliable resource I will be forced to revert the move.
Thanks,

[edit]Hello, I'm SummerPhD. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Wizards of Waverly Place, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please do not add or change content, as you did to Cartoon Network (Japan), without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Do not repost material which has been deleted at a deletion discussion as you did at List of programs broadcast by Disney Channel (Australia and New Zealand). If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. If you repost the deleted material again, you will be blocked from editing. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 01:47, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Keenan202, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
buffbills7701 19:54, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing for a period of indefinitely for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Keenan202. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here. ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:
I am sorry. I thought that using multiple accounts was a good idea. I thought that no one would notice. I am sorry. I have read sock puppet policies. If you unblock me, I will become a good editor. I will revert and warn vandals, create pages, upload files, participate in discussions, add sources to unsourced info. Maybe I can get a mentor. Can all my other accounts be disabled. Please unblock me. I will use an edit summary for all my edits. At first I was unfamiliar with wikis but now I am. Please. Call me Keenan (talk) 21:04, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I find it hard to believe that you didn't realise creating a number of accounts was not a good idea, but I'll assume good faith on that issue. Some of your other accounts (eg Hallovan & So he took a ****) engaged in blatant vandalism and disruption. The editing from this account wasn't entirely constructive either. So I think the only way to move forward with unblocking your account will be via Template:2nd chance. If you'd like to go through with the second chance procedure please let us know on this talk page (I'll watch it) and we can discuss other conditions and if it would be good if you spent some time away from Wikipedia before going through the second chance procedure. FYI De728631. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 05:33, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Second chance. Call me Keenan (talk) 10:20, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You created eight sockpuppets and this was discovered within the past two weeks. This is too deep a hole for you to get out of quickly. I suggest waiting six months during which you stay completely away from Wikipedia and do not edit under any account. After six months you could make a new request for unblock, under the provsions of WP:OFFER. EdJohnston (talk) 16:59, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

- While making an unblock notice, you decided to host an article draft on this page in addition to your request. Do you even understand why you were blocked at all? Nate • (chatter) 21:53, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
- And now you've done it a second time. Please stop or getting unblocked is going to be more complicated when talk access is turned off and you have to email your reasons to be unblocked, and those admins aren't going to be happy to see an article draft in a message. The 2nd chance template must be posted alone. No article drafts, and do not redact my notices to you. Nate • (chatter) 23:17, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
- User:Nate, the article draft was suggested by the provisions of {{2nd chance}} and was allowed by the rules. But now that the unblock has been declined I recommend that Keenan202 not continue with that. EdJohnston (talk) 17:02, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
