Information icon Hello, I'm Geraldo Perez. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Isabela Moner, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Sydney Serena moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sydney Serena, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 14:12, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination for deletion of Sssniperwolf

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sssniperwolf, has been nominated for deletion. For biographies of living people, Wikipedia requires articles be well-sourced and the sources to come from reliable books/websites/etc. The article lacks citations and I can't find anything really to add myself. The deletion discussion for your article is at [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sssniperwolf}}. Thanks for editing, Hog Farm (talk) 14:18, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sydney Serena requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Sssniperwolf. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You need a source prior to changing someone's name. The cited source has "Lia", not the name you gave. It might be possible to source the name you gave (as another name), but you need a source saying this. Eostrix (talk) 14:15, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok😈 let me say this you should create the page because I work so hard to find inforamtion about her.So just leave me alone . thanks for the "advice." Keke Zoë (talk) 11:27, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Keke Zoë: Hi. I'm sorry your article didn't work out. From my brief investigation, Sydney Serena doesn't appear to be notable enough for a Wikipedia article yet. Your article didn't include a single source so it couldn't remain in mainspace as it was—Wikipedia is very strict about sourcing for biographies of living people. I also searched the Web for any independent reliable sources with significant coverage of the her and couldn't find any, hence I nominated it for deletion rather than sending it to draft. In my experience, you shouldn't have to work hard to find information about a person if they're notable enough for an article, the information should be easy to find in independent reliable sources; if you're having difficulty finding information then that's a good sign they're not yet notable. -Lopifalko (talk) 11:47, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

[edit]

Zoë I can't help but say that Lopifalko is right as par Wikipedia policy on notability, so I came to inform you that there's a transitional wiki to Wikipedia for everyone especially Africans called Wikiafripedia or the free Afripedia that's operated by the Wikiafrimedia Foundation.
It was started in 2017 as Logosnegro by Godman when he realized that topics becomes notable in time and that people should be given the freedom to write about topics using primary sources and incubate it on the wiki; when it's matured to Wikipedia standards, it can then be moved to Wikipedia for greater visibility in SERP but in time to come, the move might not be necessary since Wikiafripedia may have attained a good visibility of it own.

For example: the SSSniper Wolf on Wikiafripedia, which was created in October 2019, is better than the one you created recently on Wikipedia.

And like Wikipedia, Wikiafripedia is also like a library, no ads and relied on donations for it existence and uses the same software as Wikipedia, it is also integrated with Wikimedia-Wikidata and Commons

It was purposely made to mirror Wikipedia so that Wikipedian wouldn't have to learn a new interface when s/he decides to also become an Afripedian — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.112.58.21 (talk) 07:55, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Advice

[edit]

Hi - I just deleted your article about Sydney Serena, and I note that it was not your first attempt to publish an article about her. You might want to take a look at FIRST, which gives advice on writing your first article, and also at these guidelines on notability. Any article you write needs to explain why your subject is notable (just being a YouTuber or having a lot of followers on Instagram is not sufficient), and you need to have some reliable, independent, secondary sources to support the information in your article. Please don't keep trying to create the article unless you can show that the subject is notable. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 11:19, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
