  1. Please assume good faith. If any of my edits have seemed unconstructive, please keep a cool head and notify me of my mistakes promptly. I try to be helpful and if I cause a problem, it is purely accidental; in no way are my edits meant to be offensive to anyone. Besides myself.
  2. Please sign your posts. Sign with four tildes to record your username and timestamp. Sinebot is watching, you know.
  3. Respond to all messages at the place where the discussion began. Meaning, if I post a message on your talk page, respond to it there, and if you post on my talk page, I will respond to it here, unless you specify otherwise.
  4. Nonsense gladly accepted. I like receiving messages, and I promise not to bite. Even if you think your questions are trivial, they may not be, at least to me. :)
  5. Place all new messages at the bottom of the page. Clicking on the link below will do this automatically for you.
  6. My page is constantly being monitored by dedicated talk page stalkers. Some of them (I probably don't know them all) are The ed17, IceUnshattered, Juliancolton, Nutiketaiel, Sonia, and Little Mountain 5 off the top of my head. Most of the time they lurk in the dark, but some of them might respond to your comments before I do. Don't be alarmed though; they might provide you with better responses than I can.
  7. Email me if the matter is confidential. But please include the word "Wikipedia" in the e-mail title so that I won't inadvertently delete it or have my spam-eater destroy it.

Wow, thanks a lot...

The Original Barnstar
For doing an amazing job at reverting vandalism (you beat me about half the time), I award you the Original Barnstar. It seems you didn't have this one yet, so I thought I would add some variety. Nice job! :)   jj137 (talk) 21:42, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good Faith and Vandalism

[edit]

What basis do you have for stating that my recent edit to the NationMaster article were vandalism? I would hope that you would assume good faith and see the history of previous edits I have made, or contest my changes on the talk page rather than label them as vandalism. I am not a vandal. Also, are you using a bot? if so, you should state this on your user page.

[edit]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to 24 Hour Fitness. Thank you. - Headwes (talk) 03:47, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey hey :)

[edit]

Still trying to figure out some of the tags and stuff... though not too much occasion to use them :) Mostly been pretty occupied with work + school coming up soon, so not too much activity lately...

Don't worry, I'll certainly ask the next time I wander astray :) But I must say you've done a great job in introducing me to how things are run!! :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Valce1 (talkcontribs) 19:43, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway. Ae yu at shoo now or still having your holidays or vacation. Chubbennaitor 07:28, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great work!

[edit]

Keep up the anti-vandalism work, about 6 times tonight I've tried to revert vandalism and you've already done it!

Well done, and keep it up! lunchscale (talk) 20:46, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It appears that 82.167.28.36 wants to be blocked. I just reverted another defacement of Boys Like Girls. Joshuagross (talk) 20:51, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't yet - thanks for the tip! Joshuagross (talk) 02:14, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re

I will bug, a lot. ;) She's defnintly un-grounded, but I just don't think she was actually that interested in editing after all. Don't quote me on that because I could be entirely wrong, but that's just my idea. Thanks for the WikiFriending, and I can't believe you used the cookie template!!!! I made that a while back and that's the second time someone's given it to me. It's just so cool to see it on other people's user page (and on mine). Anyways, I will bug her... forever. *gives evil laugh* ~ Bella Swan? 19:17, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hi La Pianista! This is an entirely purposeless message (mostly purposeless that is) in accordance with guideline 4 of your talk page. In almost every user's talk page I've visited since I have joined Wikipedia, I see your signature. Can you find me a barnstar for being in almost every talk page in Wikipedia, so that I can give it to you? BTW, can you tell me the secret of how you manage being everywhere? I won't tell anyone, I promise :P Chamal Talk 11:30, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, that one won't do. I'll try to find something else. Be patient ;) Chamal Talk 12:16, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hold on, hold on! I've got it. Here you go:

Nonsense accepted

[edit]

Hi, La Pianista ! Since we both share a passion for music and for the same instrument, and considering you like receiving messages, I thought I could come here and say hello to you. Regards, MUSIKVEREIN (talk) 17:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right now I'm engaged in a non-musical discussion, trying to settle a controversy related to the real name of Brazilian footballer Pelé. Other than that, I check my watchlist on a daily basis to see if the edits made are sound or need amendments or reversions. I don't have time to do much more than that, unfortunately. When I'm lucky, I get into a hot discussion on some subject's talk page (like in the Pelé case). That's when things get interesting ! Regards, MUSIKVEREIN (talk) 12:08, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I see. I used to play the piano, and actually considered pursuing a career as a concert artist, but an unfortunate accident put a blunt end to this idea. Anyway, that was a long time ago. I tried to make up for that loss by becoming a music critic, and of course I remain a piano enthusiast. Good luck with the sonata ! Regards, MUSIKVEREIN (talk) 15:58, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback?

[edit]

Hey Pianista, how's it going? Listen, I would like to ask a favor; if you have time, can you give some feedback for Unforgiven '05. I would appreciate it, but only if your not busy with anything. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its cool, I understand. I did the similar thing with reviewing articles at WP:GAN, so I understand where your coming from. :p --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:30, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-vandal class

[edit]

Hello. I didn't recommend you for the class and I don't know how Spittlespat met you, but if you take a look at the conversation at User_talk:Useight#ditto, you'll see that he messaged me inviting me to the class and asked that I forward the message to you. Instead of doing that, I gave him a link to your talk page. I definitely wasn't going to spam you and I guess he didn't know how to spell your username. Useight (talk) 23:47, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

simple how I found you

[edit]

I simply went to look at Chamal N's userpage looked at his awards and saw he had a secret page award from Amulet heart I went to find it (which I did) then He also had a barnstar of you're secret page and then I went to your userpage and yeah that's how I met you!--Spittlespat (talk) 01:08, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your opinion on this, please? Tell me what you honestly think about it. I want to decide whether to keep it or not. Dont worry, I no getz angry... Oh, and I've decided to make that list. Check my userboxes, I can't provide a link to that, the way I've made it :)

P.S: To Chubbennaitor, You haven't signed above message. Prepare to be exterminated by Sinebot. Chamal Talk 09:22, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

antivandal

[edit]

So you're checking my anti-vandal class everyday right? Well again I'm sure you're catching vandals right but I have one question captain elmo has retired should I put a retired sign on his userpage?--Spittlespat (talk) 20:28, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

speedy tagging

[edit]

Hello. I've declined your request to speedy delete Desi. When tagging an article, please make sure that you're not looking at a version which is the result of vandalism. In this case, the article has been there for... more than 5 years! Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 01:49, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose you were doing recent changes patrol. Friendly advice: it's rarely a good idea to place speedy deletion tags on articles unless you're doing newpage patrol. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 01:55, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About Wikiclass-Royalty in Wikiland

[edit]

Refer to here. I was not self-proclaimed. It's official, in black, white, red and green. Sorry if you were confused but I actually AM royalty.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 20:05, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lookie ere poppet, if ya worna nah the real reason, it's this. I was chosen over Jimbo, I didn't make it up for Wikiclass. You, however, kinda did...heh...i hope this clarifies.

Sarah Palin reversion

[edit]

La Pianista — I made this edit, that you reverted, because the same information appeared two paragraphs down, in the Ted Stevens section (someone else has since deleted the Ted Stevens section). I mentioned in my description of the edit that I deleted the info because it was "redundant", which was true at the time, when there was a separate section on Ted Stevens that contained the same information. — Tsunado (talk) 22:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jossi has since restored the section on Ted Stevens. As you can see, the first paragraph (at least at the time I write this) contains the same info as what I deleted from the section on her job as a commissioner, where it was redundant and didn't seem relevant. — Tsunado (talk) 22:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship

[edit]

It's good to hear that you're applying for adminship (about time, too). I was wondering if you weren't interested, and then I thought you had given up the idea when I saw this line on your userpage: 'The only thing keeping me from aspiring to become an admin is that little goblin called real life—plus, well, maybe a few nerves.' But I don't know any experienced admins. Most of the good editors I know are 'almost admin' users, and the only admin I knew retired recently :( Sorry about that, and thanks for your opinion on my subpage. Chamal Talk 02:53, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck. Burner0718 Jibba Jabba! 02:55, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted my edit of the Shankhill Butchers article, describing it as unconstructive. I changed "cohorts" to "henchmen"; this was purely a linguistic edit, as "cohort" literally means a unit of soldiers in the ancient Roman army, and is wrongly used to mean "comrade", "companion" or "henchman". Any metaphorical use of the word should retain its nature as a collective noun. If you feel "henchmen" is too judgmental, perhaps "comrades" would be more appropriate? Regards, Manormadman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Manormadman (talkcontribs) 05:16, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coaching

[edit]

La... I haven't really reviewed you yet, but just a few comments off the cuff:

  1. Please start carrying on conversations on the page where they begin. It is very difficult to follow conversations when you have to jump between pages. This can potentially hurt an RfA candidate as an "attack" or "criticism" on your talk page will appear to be unanswered. (The only time I don't continue on my talk page is when I am giving feedback to people RE an admin coaching request.)
  2. I don't know how old you are, I honestly don't want to know, but your page strikes me as a teenage girl. Please don't take offense at that. But realize that the impression is that of a teenager. Right or wrong, there is a segment of the community that will vote oppose based off of age. Even if it is just speculative age.
  3. I haven't looked at your edits, but your edits in article building space is limited. Vandal fighters (which you appear to be) run into opposition when they don't have more experience building articles.

There are some other areas that caught my attention, but I would have to look closer at your contribs before I said anything. Those were just some observations that MIGHT hamper an RfA. Again, I'll look closer at ya when I get a chance.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 19:58, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
