Deborah Bowman - 29 April 2019 - 13 weeks
Hi! It's been 13 weeks since you moved this submitted page from my Sandbox to Drafts. Is there anything else I need to do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JacPainter (talk • contribs) 22:00, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi JacPainter, unfortunately the Articles for Creation process is a bit backed up for now so it may take a while for an editor to get to your draft. It has already been submitted and is currently waiting for review so there is nothing you need to do for now. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:23, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Request on 16:22:18, 15 August 2019 for assistance on AfC submission by Jamesharrower
Hi Liance, thanks for your feedback. I'm keen to learn a bit more, have you got examples of the type of sources that you would consider significant? Businessinsider.com for example?
Jamesharrower (talk) 16:22, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Jamesharrower, Business Insider should work as a source in establishing notability and coverage. I took a look at the sources in your draft, and the reference to the James Derby website should be removed since it isn't independent of the subject itself. In addition press releases generally aren't considered to be good reference material, and many of the references seem to be issued or affiliated with the subject in some way so I would recommend finding sources that are independent of the subject. Lastly, your username seems to indicate a conflict of interest with the subject, so I would highly recommend you to WP:DISCLOSE your relationship. Hope this helped! -Liancetalk/contribs 17:47, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

I want to request specific reasons to decline Analizo article!
Analizo is a long term maintaned static analysis project, developed as free software and used for many researchers over the world, the Analizo draft submitted is much better and has much more reliable informations then others articles of others tools like Analizo, just as example check these articles:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PVS-Studio
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SofCheck_Inspector
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sotoarc
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagix_4D
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiuwan
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Yetus
None of then has the Quality of the current Analizo Draft has, only to cite a few ones, see more articles on the list of static analysis tools at:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tools_for_static_code_analysis
You will find there many articles and tools accepted on Wikipedia with worse quality then Analizo article Draft.
Also, how the references added on the Draft is weak and miss of idependency of the subject? The paper added as reference is a paper accepted and presented in one of the most important congress of this subject in Brazil, the paper added as reference was presented at CBSOFT 2010 conference, the most traditional conference about SOFTWARE (including software engineering, computer science, and so on), refence here http://wiki.dcc.ufba.br/CBSOFT/AcceptedTools
For sure the Article about Analizo needs improvements, but you can't say that miss independent and reliable information, as pointed here here is lots of articles about tools like Analizo with worse and much few reliable information.
Please, review the article again, thanks.
164.41.237.119 (talk) 18:42, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there. I rejected your draft because I felt that it did not show notability, as there were only two references, one a Github repository and the other one linking to the subject's website. Most of the articles you listed with "worse quality" have independent references that show notability and coverage to some extent (and some of them also do not meet Wikipedia's preferred standards for notability), however your draft only included one non-independent source (as a github repo usually isn't counted). See WP:GNG for more information. If you feel that I did not adequately review your article feel free to submit again, however I highly recommend you add more references to establish coverage or notability as it would greatly improve the draft's likelihood of being accepted into the mainspace. Hope this helped. -Liancetalk/contribs 18:52, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
"The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at Punjab. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, you are welcome to add that information yourself. Thank you."
These two events (flood and operation black thunder) were important in 1988 but they don't define Punjab. Punjab is the home of Indus valley civilization, home of panini, Taxila university, frontier of Alexander's farthest campaign, battle field of Aryans, mongols, afghans, iranians, arabs, english, sikh, maratha and turkic tribes, home of green revolution, Largest migration in human history How can you merge these events in Punjab article? Wikipedia is not perfect pedia. Later others can add to article. Serjatt6 (talk) 13:37, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Serjatt6. At the time of review, I did not feel that the draft had enough content to warrant a separate article from the main article (Punjab), as it only had a short mention of a flood, and this snippet of information would be better off merged into the primary article. Generally, articles for certain years in locations are more fleshed out (see 1988 in the United Kingdom for example). If you feel that you have added enough content and would like another review please feel free to resubmit your draft. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:03, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

- ITLRosanna (talk · contribs)
The article I submitted on Brandon Cahill aka Vic Sage was not accepted. One of the comments asked me to remove all references to Apple Music and Spotify - however here is an article where the references link to both Apple Music and Spotify: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futuristic_(rapper). Additionally Spotify's Viral 100 and Viral 50 charts have become reliable indicators of music that is being shared digitally; the site is not just a place to post and listen to music - it shows when artist's songs are being shared locally and globally to a higher degree than others. Apple Charts also show when an album has risen to their top most downloaded albums - which was the case with the album in this article "Low Key." Please reconsider the use of Spotify and Apple Music as they are sources that show the status of a musical artist as producing and disseminating songs digitally and that are gaining more traction than other digitally disseminated songs - both in the US and globally. Thank you.
ITLRosanna (talk) 14:25, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi ITLRosanna. Although the article you linked does have references to Apple Music and other media streaming websites they are generally not needed and are not usable in establishing coverage/notability. Please make sure your subject meets WP:MUSICBIO and WP:GNG through your other references - this is the most important criteria you should keep in mind while writing your draft. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:09, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
creating the page Film and Religion
Dear Liance, thank you for your email. I am a Wordpress blogger, and I thought that it is worth to give wikipedia a try. It't clear that the problem in deleting the post is that I used some of my own writing from wordpress in the page. This might cause a real struggle to me as I will need to paraphrase alot. I have already did in this page that I was creating but indeed there was a copy and paste. I did put the subject in a new format here, and added new points. I am willing to fix the errors so please let me know if anything else I can do :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mo mohanna (talk • contribs) 19:03, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi Liance,
You appear to be quite busy so I will be brief. 1. Thanks for moving my proposed page from the sandbox. 2. I understand and support neutrality and respect full disclosure of COI. 3. And, I believe that what my company is accomplishing is unique and meets Wiki's notability standard. If you can spare the time, I would greatly appreciate your opinion on that last point. Thanks again, DriverSafety (talk) 13:59, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi DriverSafety. My advice to you would to be to ensure that you have references that show significant coverage in multiple independent, reliable secondary sources. The inclusion of multiple references that demonstrate notability (see WP:NCORP) increases the likelihood that your article will be accepted. In addition, make sure you clearly declare your COI on your user page in order to meet Wikipedia guidelines. -Liancetalk/contribs 21:09, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Thanks Liance. I have tried and failed to declare my COI on my user page because I do not know how to do it. I thought I had, and then what I added was no longer there when I next looked. Regarding the multiple references, I included several peer reviewed scientific publications that report on the third party independent researcher program evaluations that my company supports to validate our training programs. This process is part of the concurrent engineering approach our company invests in and which, I believe, makes it notable for a company of our small size. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DriverSafety (talk • contribs) 04:41, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

66.165.177.7 (talk) 16:39, 30 August 2019 (UTC) Hi Liance, Have you been assigned to edit my proposed article about Sherwood Ross? If not, will somebody contact me at some point to discuss any revisions? I am in the process of trying to obtain rights to certain historic photos from AP and Getty Images.
I have also disclosed on my Talk Page that Sherwood Ross is my father and I may be considered to have a COI. Am I required to take any further action in the interest of full disclosure. If so, please advise.
Thank you, Karl
- Hi 66.165.177.7, currently the article Draft:Sherwood Ross has been submitted for review so that means an editor will review it for inclusion in the wiki. Please note that any images uploaded to the wiki must be under a license that is freely licensed with no exceptions (see WP:IUPC). Make sure to note a COI on your user page by declaring your affiliation to the subject clearly. Hope this helped. -Liancetalk/contribs 21:06, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
August 30 - Thanks and draft naming question
Thanks for helping me get my new article draft in the right place! I am new at this. Unfortunately I realized too late that my page Draft:Lucid has the same name as Lucid. Do you know if I can change the title to something that hasn't been taken yet? A Wikipedia:Requested_moves? Thanks again for your help! Chaud321 (talk) 22:28, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Chaud321. I have moved your draft to Draft:Lucid (company). Since the article isn't on the mainspace there shouldn't be any real issues with name conflicts as Draft names aren't final. -Liancetalk/contribs 23:12, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- That's perfect! Thanks so much. Chaud321 (talk) 23:28, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi, Sabine Dahinden is almost a Celebrity in Switzerland. It is normal to have also an article in english. Best regards --Netpilots (talk) 13:43, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Netpilots. The draft currently does not have enough references to demonstrate the notability required for inclusion in the wiki per notability policies (see WP:BIO). Non-english sources are also acceptable if English sources are harder to find, if you feel that the subject has better coverage in another language it would be acceptable to use those as well. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 18:12, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Hey Liance, hope all is well.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my article. I'm new to this and apologise if my knowledge is not up to scratch on all this.
I had a good look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(music) and the other articles on Independent, reliable sources etc.
I'm having a little trouble understanding the degree of notability that a website/article must have and how this is determined before it can pass as a reliable source on wiki. I looked at a number of other Australian artists to best gauge what referencing was being used and thought the ones I had used for 'Jaycee's' article were up to standard, that being Independent and reliable.
Could you please help me in understanding which specific articles were not acceptable and why? and if possible, if there is anyway to determine beforehand the notability of an article before referencing again. I would hate to keep re-editing with insufficient reliable sources.
Thanks so much for your time! --JohnCena569 (talk) 06:29, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi JohnCena569. Your draft was declined because the references in there generally did not show significant coverage. Most were links to streaming sites (i.e. iTunes), event listings or nonreliable user-contributed sources like Genius. Generally, the sources needed to show notability should be in-depth, not lists or passing mentions. For example, an article on a website like the New York Times would work. In addition, make sure your subject meets the criteria at WP:NMUSIC. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:15, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi Liance! Thank you for your notes! I just want to make certain I understand the reason SheVibe,Inc. wasn’t accepted. From what I understand it was solely due to not having substantive press citations that are more than a passing mention as well as the citations I included not being from more well-known sources? I just want to make certain that I don’t have to address anything else. Thank you again for reviewing my proposed entry!
Best, Elle
- Hi Ellechase. Another editor rejected your draft and left a comment (on your talk page) saying they felt it did not meet Wikipedia's company notability policy (WP:NCORP), which specifies the criteria a subject has to meet before it is considered for inclusion. The primary issue they noted was the usage of non-independent sources - references should have no affiliation with the subject and must show significant coverage. First and foremost, I would recommend removing all references to Wikipedia pages (as they noted) since it can't be used as a reference as well as sources that are retail websites or are affiliated with the subject, and then adding sources that help to satisfy criteria if possible. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 22:29, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Liance, many thanks for your help on the LIGO Documentary submission. I have added further documentation, from the Bali Film Festival, where the film is showing this month, and the National Science Foundation, their funder. I steered clear of the kind of citations that were more promotion and advertising, which I believe is the right choice. It is an important documentary, and very new, as is detailed. I trust much new information and new documentation will be added in the coming months, but I hope this now is well enough defined that it can be accepted. Most important, the internal Wikipedia links to their production groups, Advanced LIGO Documentary Project and LIGO Scientific Collaboration reflect organizations already fully vetted by Wikipedia. Many thanks ~~John Greene~~
JGreene20 (talk) 22:23, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi JGreene20. I still feel that your draft (Draft:LIGO Documentary) does not show that the subject is notable because none of your sources show significant coverage while also being secondary and independent. Please make sure your references are not affiliated with the subject, and have deep coverage of the subject. IMDb is not an acceptable reference. You should review Wikipedia's notability criteria WP:NN to make sure your submission is adequately supported to show notability. -Liancetalk/contribs 22:33, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

TVaughanSoCal (talk) 19:38, 8 September 2019 (UTC)TvaughanSoCal 090819 Did I do that right? lol
- Hi TVaughanSoCal, I would advise taking a look at WP:NMUSIC, which lists some important criteria for notability related to music subjects, as well as WP:NPERSON and WP:NN for more general notability. As of now your draft is missing a lot of inline citations which are necessary for establishing notability coverage, so I would recommend finding some independent and secondary sources with significant coverage (e.g. a news article, book, etc) and adding them so that information and notability can be verified. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks! -Liancetalk/contribs 20:09, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

Draft: Lewis Rasmus Heim
Hello, I am contacting you to resolve the issue of reliable resources for my article on Lewis Heim.
For two of the references, shown below, I will have to send you a PDF of the articles. If you want PDFs, let me know.
Encyclopedia of American Biography, “Lewis R. Heim,” The American Historical Company, Vol. 35, 1966, 622-624 Fairfield War Plant Beats Nazis At Own Game, Bridgeport Sunday Post, April 23, 1944.
For the National Registor of Historic Places, please go to this link.
https://npgallery.nps.gov/NRHP/GetAsset/NRHP/89001087_text
The registration form is for a building but the reason for the registration of the building is due to the invention of the centerless grinder by Mr. Heim. Go to page 4, section 8 for an explanation of the significance.
For the reference titled "Lewis R. Heim, Mechanical Genius of Modern Industry", the ISBN of the book is: 9780997790726. The book has "ALL" the information including an extensive list of reliable resources. You can find the book on Amazon and other retailers.
Also, I want to mention that Wikipedia contains three articles related to Mr. Heim. One is an article on Centerless Grinding. However, whoever wrote it did not mention who invented it. My article resolves that issue.
Second, there is a Wikipedia article called "Rod End Bearing" that contains erroneous information on the inventor that needs to be corrected. As described in my article, Mr. Heim invented the rod end bearing and can be seen in Patent No. 2,366,668. You can find the patent on Google Patents or on the US Patent and Trademard Office website. I would provide a link but the link is unreliable so you would have to go to the website and enter the patent number. Also, in the Wiki article on the Rod End Bearing, you will notice that the bearing is called the "Heim Joint" for the inventor Lewis Heim.
Third, the Wikipedia article on the Ball and Roller Bearing Company, that was founded by Mr. Heim and cited in the registration form for the National Register of Historic Places. The Wiki article cites Mr. Heim as the inventor of the modern centerless grinding machine.
Please advise if this helps to resolve the issue of "reliable resources". If not, please advise what else I need to do to have my article approved. Thanks.
PS: If you want to contact me by email or phone, I am open to these alternatives.

- Hi Wikisetter54, I noticed that you have two drafts on the same subject - Draft:Lewis R. Heim and Draft:Lewis Rasmus Heim. Firstly, I would recommend you delete one of them and focus your efforts on the other one by placing {{db-author}} on the one you would like to delete. This way, editors won't get confused as to which draft you are trying to submit. Next, you should cite the PDFs directly on the articles provided they are available online, and if one of your references is offline (e.g. a newspaper or book) there is no problem with referencing that as well (just indicating its author, title, location, publisher/edition, etc with the relevant template); this way you can make sure your draft is supported by reliable sources. Lastly, if you think there are errors on any other pages, you can make those changes yourself - Wikipedia is editable by anyone, after all. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:09, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Regarding Reference Links for my submission.

- Hi Imjafar04, please take a look at the notability criteria required for inclusion - if you cannot locate any reliable sources it is possible that the subject is not suitable for inclusion at this time. In addition, if you are writing an article about yourself, please note that it is highly discouraged - if you are notable, it is likely that someone will write an article about you eventually. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:12, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

Quick question on Jean Morrison draft
Good afternoon, Liance,
Thank you again for your help in reviewing the article submission I created for Jean Morrison. Just a quick check-in to make sure you have everything you need from me for this and to see if there's an estimated timeframe for review/publication. It goes without saying, but please let me know if there's any additional info I can provide.

- Hey Davidjlazar - currently your draft is submitted for review, and, due to the sheer number of draft articles awaiting review right now, it may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks for your article to be reviewed. In the meantime please make sure your draft is supported by secondary, independent, and reliable sources (not affiliated with the subject) that satisfy the wiki's academics biography criteria. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:18, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know you moved the page to draft namespace Draft:Kym_Illman and suggesting I request you to proofread /improve the article. If you have time I would love you to do that. I've noted a conflict of interest and tried to make the article as neutral as possible but would greatly appreciate your feedback, --KymIllman (talk) 01:42, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi KymIllman - I took a look at the references you provided, and just want to make sure you know that they should be non-trivial coverage of the subject, rather than passing mentions. Some of your sources don't cover the subject in any significant way, so I would suggest you remove those if you feel that they aren't necessary to the article. Additionally, I just want to remind you that writing an autobiography (which you appear to be doing) is highly discouraged, due to inherent issues with POV/bias. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 02:48, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
Deb Lavender
Hi Lance,
Thank you for your fast response on moving my Deb Lavender article out of sandbox. I'm new to Wiki and believe I've possibly made a mistake in requesting the move. The article is actually a major edit of an existing stub, Deb Lavender. How do I preserve the edit history and move the article to its intended home, which is the Deb Lavender published page? It's my understanding pasting it over into Deb's page is not the preferred process.PatriciaBishop (talk) 11:24, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there PatriciaBishop - sorry I didn't realize it was actually an existing article. Next time, please just edit the actual article itself - this can prevent issues with copy-paste moves and make edit history more seamless. I would recommend copying/rewriting the parts that you added to your draft to the live article manually, since there are two separate edit histories there is no easy way to merge them. Please be careful not to delete other editors' work in the process! Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 02:50, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

super frustrated
I just wanted to add a company to the list of california companies I did not want to draft an article about the company because I'm no expert at writing copy. The draft was sighted as spam advertising because it way too general what do I do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrCheryJackson (talk • contribs) 02:57, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi DrCheryJackson - your draft was marked for deletion because it was promotional in nature, not because it was too general. It did not cite any sources and included promotional aspects like contact information without demonstrating notability. Please make sure any future edits meet WP:NPOV or they may face deletion again. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:50, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Hallo, thank you for your feedback. As I am not only creating the article about Editta Braun, but also doing adjustments to the article about her company, I have a question. I can't change the title. You know, the editta braun company has no capitals, but in the wikipedia article they are falsely called "Editta Braun Company". But editing doesn't give me access to changing the title... could you help me, please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lagardet (talk • contribs) 19:41, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
- Largadet, generally article titles (and instances in the text of the articles) are not formatted with their stylized versions - in the case of the Editta Braun Company, I would advise keeping the instances of it and the article title in uppercase (though you could write "(stylized as editta braun company)" after it's first mentioned in the article to note it being lowercase). There are ways to change the case of the article title but I feel that it isn't appropriate in this case. Thanks. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:15, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Decline or reject first, tag for speedy deletion after
Hi. Thanks for the work you're doing at AfC. When you come across a draft that should be speedy deleted, like you did here and here, please could you decline or reject the draft first, and then tag it for deletion. That way it won't be in the backlog for other reviewers to come across in the time between you tagging it and an administrator deleting it. Thanks. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:17, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for letting me know Curb Safe Charmer. Will be sure to decline drafts to make sure they get out of the review queue after CSDing them. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:16, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Draft:dbWatch
Hello Liance!
Good day!
I would like to know more how can my submitted article be approved?
Thank you! :D
- Hi Tonysy191 - on your draft article there is a blue "Re-Submit" button you can hit which will put your article back up for review. Before you do that, though, I would suggest fixing some of its issues, most importantly that it meets the notability criteria (supported by multiple secondary, independent sources with significant coverage) and is written neutrally. Also make sure your sources are inline citations rather than external links. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 00:25, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Regarding reference links for my article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Praveen_LINGA
Hi Liance, I have updated the article with the necessary reference links as suggested. Can you please check. I would be happy to update if there is a need for further information. Thanks in advance, here is the page link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Praveen_LINGA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pravlaaa3 (talk • contribs) 06:49, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Regarding the page Unni Krishnan Pulikkal
Hey, though I have done edits to previous pages, this is my first ever original article. I am not able to form a infobox for this page so the details are left in the air (without a proper format). Can you provide me with some guidance please? Also, can you please let me know what more I should do to get my article approved? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SHEHZAAG (talk • contribs) 18:31, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Hey, I didn't know Wikipedia could be so addictive. Now that I have though, I am here very much to stay. Thank you so much for your help and quick reply. SHEHZAAG (talk) 18:49, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi SHEHZAAG - for userboxes in biographies, I would recommend copying the template skeleton from Template:Infobox person and entering any applicable details (name, DOB, etc). Let me know if you need any help with this. -Liancetalk/contribs 01:34, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Draft:The Boondocks (2020 TV series)
How soon will my draft go live? How much more work needs to be done?MarcoPolo250 (talk) 21:14, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi MarcoPolo250 - currently your draft is submitted for review and another editor should get to it within the next few days. However, I'm not sure if a new article is currently needed since there isn't even a release date for the rebooted series - might be a case of WP:TOOSOON, and your draft could be merged into Boondocks (TV series). -Liancetalk/contribs 01:31, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Deaf characters in Children's books
Hi Liance Hope you don't mind me asking but I'm not very familiar with the Wikipedia interface and can't work out how to copy and paste the article onto the existing article without losing the references. I agree that the article is too long and should be split into smaller more specialised articles but first I'd like to get the content into the main Wikipedia before trying to split it into several articles. Could you help me copy and paste it over, please? Ano34 (talk) 08:18, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hey Ano34 - due to user attribution issues I would highly recommend you to do the content moving yourself. Which portions are you trying to copy? If you copy the <ref> tags then the references should automatically follow the copy/paste. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 01:24, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Journal Submission
Lance you rejected the submission for the journal 'Health and Social Care Chaplaincy' [HSCC]. I have contacted the publishers and edited it as best I am able, similar in style to other Journal entries on Wikipedia. As HSCC is only a relatively new journal, some information is not yet available, but I do not see this should prevent the submission proceeding. IF you are still not happy with this revised submission, could I please work with another editor to assist me to achieve an acceptable presentation. Regards - LC — Preceding unsigned comment added by LinzCarey (talk • contribs) 22:35, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi LinzCarey, please make sure your subject meets the WP:NJOURNAL criteria for inclusion with reliable and independent sources to back it up with coverage. It's not a matter of how new the subject may be, but inclusion in the wiki is determined by coverage publicly available. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 01:35, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

afC suggestion
You were certainly right to decline User:Kumarkush111/sandbox/Mathurasini Printing Press! But not only is there no indiccation ofsignificance, this is a straight advertisement. The clearest way to indicate the problems with such articles is to also decline them as adv., so both templates papear on the user talk page.
And in this case, it is such a blatant unmistakable advertisement without any possible encyclopedic content, that t also qualifies for Speedy G11. (We're a little more reluctant to use G11 for drafts as for articles, because there's the hope drafts can be rewritten, but when it's as clear as this, G11 is appropriate. The sooner we get rid of these the better)
I'm not going to delete it immediately, so you can see the problem. DGG ( talk ) 07:04, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Looking back I definitely should have also declined adv since it is indeed blatantly unencyclopedic. Thank you for pointing it out, will make sure to do so in the future. I've also put a speedy deletion on the article. Thanks! -Liancetalk/contribs 14:49, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Your Reason for Declining an Article is unjust.
@Liance,
Thank you for reviewing the article here [1] for Johnnie a Ghanaian broadcast Journalist. This person is a notable personality in Ghana and has various credible sites approved in the references to prove that. I will appreciate if you relook your action and proceed review since it is still a stub Ghanaian article to be updated. Thanks. Joy Agyepong (talk)
- Hi Joy Agyepong, from what I can you provided two sources on your subject (three link to the same article), which I feel does not meet WP:BIO/WP:GNG. If the subject has various credible sites please update your draft article to reflect that. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 14:59, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

Braniac0312 (talk) 18:03, 1 October 2019 (UTC)Braniac0312 10/1/19
Hi Liance,
Thank you so much for helping me with my article. After some time, I feel that I've finished with the writing and research process. What's the next step?
Thanks again!
- Hi Braniac0312 - I would advise to make sure your reference show that your subject is notable in that it provides secondary, independent, reliable sources. Some of the references do not meet this (i.e. google play store, organization's homepage) currently and would advise the inclusion of more reliable sources to show notability. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 19:45, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
How do I edit the name of a draft?
Hey Liance. I was wondering how do you edit the name of a draft article. I accidentally called mine "Edel Crealy" instead of Edel Creely. But I have no idea how to edit the actual "Draft:Edel Crealy" before I send it to be reviewed. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Taron Wright (talk) 18:28, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Taron Wright - I have moved your draft article to Draft:Edel Creely with the WP:MOVE function. Let me know if you need any additional assistance. Thanks! -Liancetalk/contribs 19:48, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Liance - Are you decisions completely arbitrary?
You rejected my submission, and the documentation (and reliability) of the sources that were provided is far greater than many of the similar pages on Wikipedia.
Also, if you say Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, than aren't you contradicting your own vetting system?
What gives? This seems like a very inconsistent and arbitrary approval system...No one has endless hours to waste trying to submit articles... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shuckyformet (talk • contribs) 19:36, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Shuckyformet, I reviewed your article on the basis of criteria reviewers abide by including WP:NN, WP:NMUSIC - they specify that notability requires secondary, independent, reliable sources that demonstrate significant coverage. Only one of the sources you provided on Draft:The Vectors appears to meet this criteria, as Facebook, Wikipedia and Discogs are user generated content that are not considered valid. Any similar pages on the wiki that do not meet these reference criteria likely do not meet notability requirements in their current form and may be marked for deletion. -Liancetalk/contribs 19:43, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Draft: Vivrant
Hi Liance,
I have been waiting for a while to get my first article verified.
How is the process going? Is there something that needs to be improved?
Best, Nils
- Hi there Vivrant123 - firstly, based on your username, it seems you might have a potential conflict of interest with the article your are writing. You should make sure to declare your affiliation with the subject on your user page to meet the wiki's policies regarding COI editing. As for your article, I would recommend adding more secondary, reliable sources to help meet the notability criteria. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 17:42, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
Declined for inadequate sources not meeting minimum citation standard
Liance, Thank you for reviewing my article Marsha Mazz. This is my first article published and I have two quick questions. First being, how does the article not meet the minimum requirement for citations? I used Wiki's built-in automatic citing and it created the sources and the footnotes. I've checked the s minimum standard for inline citations article and am still confused. Secondly, what exactly do I have to reference? I am reading multiple Wikipedia articles and there is information that is not cited. I just would like to know what needs to be and what does not. I do not know what kind of information can be challenged. Thank you for your time AleitheaAnne (talk) 14:26, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there AleitheaAnne - what I meant by minimum requirement for citations is that your article should include inline citations within the body of the article so that information can be properly verified. The first paragraph in the "Professional Career" section has no citations, so you would need to make sure that information could be verified through the included citations, otherwise that infoaa may not be fit for inclusion.
- In addition, you should make sure your subject meets the notability criteria for living persons - press releases do not meet the requirements for secondary, reliable sources, so please try to find alternatives. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 17:47, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
Rejection
Dear Liance,
I got the rejection to publish Muhammad Shahbaz information. Could you please instruct me how to revise or change?
Best, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ngannguyen1702 (talk • contribs) 13:26, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Ngannguyen1702, I took a look at your draft and I would make sure your article supported by inline citations - as of now, there are only external links in the article body, which are generally not supposed to be in the body of the article and should be removed. The article reads more like a resume with a list of a achievements rather than a biography, so I would recommend removing links to education, google scholar, etc. and make sure that your article meets the notability criteria for professors through reliable, secondary sources. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 17:33, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Virginia Thompson
Hi Liance, I hope this finds you well. I was wondering if you would be able to review the contributions I have made for Virginia Thompson and ensure they meet Wikipedia's guidelines. I look forward to hearing from you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackrobmartin (talk • contribs) 15:01, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Jackrobmartin, one problem I see right now with your draft is that many of the sources are not independent of the subject (not directly affiliated/related with it) - in order to meet notability criteria for living people, I would review your sources and try to add coverage by more secondary sources. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 17:37, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
My articles
Hi Liance, I published 5 articles till now and only one of them was accepted. Is there a reason my articles aren't accepted? Thank you. Bechtoll (talk) 00:56, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Bechtoll, currently the reviewer queue is a bit long for AfC but provided your draft articles are well sourced and demonstrate notability they should be accepted. Hope this helps. -Liancetalk/contribs 14:55, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
