Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Janis Roswick-Menken has been reverted.
Your edit here to Janis Roswick-Menken was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5ccC3Dx5Ho, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f5kO_9PdsY, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aGnMU5pZ94, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUeuvY3bjpQ) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Lily03025. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Janis Roswick-Menken, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:14, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

When you add text to an article, you must support it with reliable sources[edit]

Greetings! I have not reverted your recent additions to Janis Roswick-Menken about her early life, but I have flagged the text as needing citations. Any material added to an article should be supported by reliable sources; this is critical when the subject is a living person. WP:Biographies of living persons stresses the need for reliable sources, and preferably secondary sources, for claims made in articles. —C.Fred (talk) 19:53, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please note that the source must be reliable. Homemade or user-made websites are rarely reliable; the website you added today looked like it had just been made with a website building site. —C.Fred (talk) 19:49, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Reasons (Band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --Magnus Puer (sermo) 21:43, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Shoot All The Lights (Anna Rose and The Reasons Song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Speedy deletion nomination of Far Man (film 1989)[edit]

Hello Lily03025,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Far Man (film 1989) for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Geohakkeri (talk) 13:32, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Reasons, possible hoax.[edit]

Please add reliable sources to assert that The Reasons are a real group and not something you made up. There is no mention of this group at Alan Menken or Anna Rose Menken, and the statement "one of the most respected and longest-existing bands in America" demands a high quality source. --Animalparty-- (talk) 18:43, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Far Man (film 1989)[edit]

The article Far Man (film 1989) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to be a hoax. No evidence found of film's existence

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Animalparty-- (talk) 18:51, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do not create, add, maintain, insert, or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia. Usually, hoaxes will be caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. --Animalparty-- (talk) 19:07, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

June 2015[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent unconstructive editing. Much of your editing has consisted of adding blatantly false information to Wikipedia, and most of the rest has consisted of making changes which are unsourced, unverifiable, and frequently not written in coherent English. You are simply wasting the time of constructive editors who have to spend time and effort clearing up after you, so that your presence here is detrimental to the project. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:55, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
