February 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Auburn Village School, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Epeefleche (talk) 16:39, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Heejun Han has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Edinburgh Wanderer 22:49, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

An article you created, Heejun Han is currently up for deletion. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/American Idol (season 11) finalists and if you feel the articles should be kept, also expand the articles with reliably sourced information. March 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Super Bowl XLVI, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Wrathchild (talk) 23:31, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:41, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Other accounts[edit]

Let me ask you two questions:

  1. Do you know why you were originally blocked in the first place?
  2. Do you know why we have shut down your other accounts?

--MuZemike 13:57, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mountain Dew Stadium has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unsourced article; most likely wishful thinking or conjecture on the part of the article's creator

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —KuyaBriBriTalk 16:15, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012[edit]

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did with the article Mountain Dew Stadium. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 21:28, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2011–12 NFL playoffs. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —Al E.(talk) 19:54, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Template:2011–12 NFL playoffs, you may be blocked from editing. —Al E.(talk) 19:55, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Zalumo[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zalumo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Prestonmag (talk) 16:34, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:VerizonWirelessArena2012.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:VerizonWirelessArena2012.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 18:39, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

misha B article - consensus request[edit]

Hi Lukas D - you are invited to offer your opinion at User_talk:NewzealanderA/Misha_B#User_Consensus_Request regarding X Factor contestant Misha B - User:NewzealanderA/Misha_B. Thank you for your time!-- NewzealanderA (talk) 23:06, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Lukas D, you have been warned before: repeatedly making disruptive edits like this one, changing "New York Giants" to "Minnesota Vikings" on the Super Bowl XLVI article, will certainly get you blocked again.

You even state on your user page that you kindly ask people to stop blocking you because "I'm doing nothing wrong to offend them. Please show me some respect". And yet you still continue to offend and disrespect a number of other regular users here on Wikipedia by erasing their hard work on these articles, and instead posting up various hoaxes and other false information instead. Again, repeatedly being disruptive like that is grounds to block your account. Regards. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:45, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for disruptive editing. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted – in fact, less than 12 hours after I warned you, you inserted false information on the List of Super Bowl champions article.[1] And after looking at your edits, you have a history of inserting copyright violations and false information, which is sufficient to warrant a longer block. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. August 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Sesamevoila. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Eli Manning, because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sesamevoila (talk) 08:28, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing, as you no doubt knew it would be, both for persistent vandalism and for block evasion. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblokced, then you should request an unblock on your original account. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:11, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
