Hello Mansour, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

If you need any help, see the help pages and glossary, add a question to the help desk, or ask me on my talk page.

I hope you will enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian. Good luck! — Bcat

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. And thanks for all the useful links. Mansour 30 June 2005 23:36 (UTC)

Please don't replace images with alternate versions. If you think a photo is better, please upload it under a different name and also write about where have you got it from and its copyright status. roozbeh July 5, 2005 09:40 (UTC)

OK, I will upload it under a different name. I think this is definitely a better photo, especially with the IRI emblem in the background is more compatible with the subject (a president of Islamic Republic of Iran). The photo is not copyright protected. I got it from ISNA site and I will include the note in the upload. Mansour 5 July 2005 09:45 (UTC)

You have violated the Wikipedia:Three revert rule; I encourage you to revert yourself before it is too late. Jayjg (talk) 05:13, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You are not welcome to write in my personal page. You are a loser who abuses his admin status in Wikipedia and people like you should not be given admin status. You and your few other Zionist accomplices have been hanging on Iran-related articles spreading lies, allegations and mischief. Your edit history shows to any observer where you come from and what this is all about. If you continue your abuse of Wikipedia, I will do everything that I can to bring the attention of fair-minded admins to your abuse. Mansour 05:24, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
As you chose to continue violating the 3RR even after being warned, I've blocked you for 24 hours. I also blocked your other account (Mansour1 (talk · contribs)) for the same reason. You should also be aware that Wikipedia has a no personal attacks policy, which you've just broken with your missive to Jayjg above. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines before continuing to edit. You'll be doing us all a favour—including yourself. -- Hadal 05:32, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Block evasion[edit]

Mansour, I've extended your 3RR block by 24 hours for block evasion. If you evade the block again, the next extension will be longer, so please try to sit it out. If you feel this is unfair, feel free to e-mail me using the link on my user page. SlimVirgin (talk) 22:26, July 13, 2005 (UTC)

e-mail you?!! hehe you're so cute when you take yourself so seriously. Mansour 09:18, 14 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks[edit]

Mansour, I strongly urge you to lay off the personal attacks against Zereshk. No good will come of such a strategy (it does not help you build your argument), and it will only serve to antagonize the opposition further, as well as potentially resulting in action against you by the Arbitration Committee. I don't think that any of those things are desirable by you. siafu 01:58, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mansour, you've been reported for directing a racial insult at another editor. I don't know whether this is the same attack as above or an additional one. If it happens again, you're likely to be blocked without further warning. This is me taking myself seriously again, by the way. I hope it's making me cute enough that you might pay attention. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 03:12, July 16, 2005 (UTC)
I am referring to multiple statements made on Talk:Afghanistan. siafu 03:35, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

SlimVirgin, show me the racial insult that I have used or shut up, or else I'll cure your virginity from the wrong hole. And MAKE SURE you know what the hell you are talking about next time. Mansour 04:51, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mansour, you are continuing to make personal attacks, which are against policy--see Wikipedia:No personal attacks. If this continues in any fashion, a block is almost certain. No matter how angry you become, you must not insult and threaten other editors, or else your editing privileges will be lost. If you find yourself too upset to avoid saying harsh words, I suggest taking time away from the computer to relax. The comments you have been making (like the one above) cannot continue. Jwrosenzweig 09:11, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Genius, when someone chooses an ID like "SlimVirgin" she is BEGGING for attention and comments like that. You are so bright you almost qualify to move to the White House. Mansour 09:20, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
1) Please don't call me "genius" and make cracks about my intelligence. I don't find it remotely funny. 2) SlimVirgin's name is not a request to be insulted (which you would know if you had read SV's user page), and even if it was, you are still required by site policy not to make personal attacks. I hope that you will respect this site's rules. Jwrosenzweig 09:23, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
And I hope that you learn that your name is not Vox Populi. Mansour 09:26, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Even if it was, it would hardly impress most people -- Vox Dei would be far more intimidating, I suspect. But the point is, Mansour, that as an administrator at this site, I have, in fact, been elected to serve as an editor who enforces the site's policies. That's why I'm talking about this with you -- if you continue to break the rules, it will be the responsibility of me (or else another admin like me) to carry out the consequences. By talking to you, I'm trying to give you the chance to stay calm, become aware of the site's policies, and ask me questions if you need to. I think that's the fair thing to do -- sometimes people lose their tempers. But you need to understand that it's not acceptable here to personally attack others -- if you do understand that, and you're willing to live by that rule, you won't ever have to worry about me troubling you again. :-) Trust me, I don't enjoy this any more than you -- like you, I'd much rather be writing articles. I am just holding up my responsibilities to this community. Thanks, Jwrosenzweig 09:30, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I like your attitude. Sorry about that. Don't read too much into every little comment. I'll try to improve. Perfection by defintion is a decadant state, since it has no room for improvement. Therefore, I am better than the perfect ones!  :) Mansour 09:35, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
