A tag has been placed on Thrashpack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Leave this page alone. This is history and you don't know what you're talking about. Stick to what you know, not what you don't.

A tag has been placed on Mod Kids USA requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from freestyl3.com/portfolio/mod-kids-usa. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

For a start, you are now tagging the wrong page for deletion. I'm an expert in this space.

Battle Approved Motors moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Battle Approved Motors, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Thrashpack requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Any editor can make changes to any article, regardless of their knowledge or skill level. No single editor has any right of ownership or editorial control over an article. Also, you are required to assume good faith when communicating with other editors. Don't accuse others of harmful motives in the absence of clear evidence. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:53, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Drm310, although the person suggesting it be deleted is Iamzine13, was born well after the 80's. Just 21 years old from India. His knowledge on this band, subject, and British Hip-hip in 1987 in-general would be close to zero putting it nicely. I would think if he is doing this to this page, then he's also doing it with other pages as well. Thrashpack was signed by Derek B, knew him personally before his death in 2009, and were an established music artist on the Music of Life record label. No need for deletion. And as stated and tagged on Thrashpack page are links to them on the Music of Life page and British hip-hop. It's fact and it's history. Thank you.

@NuBond007: We don't rely on the personal knowledge of our editors. In fact, Wikipedia expressly disallows unpublished personal knowledge and experience - referred to here as original research - as it is inherently unverifiable. We don't expect readers to take what is written simply on faith - we require content to be verifiable by citing reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article.
WP:BAND describes the criteria to deem a musician or musical group notable enough for inclusion. If you can cite multiple independent sources (online or print) that discuss the group in-depth, then you could attempt to create a draft article with the article wizard.
One more technical item... when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:45, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Only warning[edit]

This is your only warning: if you create a page in mainspace again with no references, you will be blocked from editing. You are more than welcome to construct an article at Draft:Thrashpack or in your own userspace, but if you repost it to article space without providing citations to multiple, reliable, independent sources that have published significant coverage of the band, your account will be blocked. Hello, NuBond007. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Battle Approved Motors.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89(T·C) 05:58, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
