speedy deletion of @Omajemite . Removing sourced materials without any genuinely and legitimate proof. And his account has been marked several times for deletion. This editor may cause more ethnic Cris between a united ethnic group. Streetvibes (talk) 17:40, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The said subject matter is related to me... Okpe People are different Urhobo People...
You have removed anything Okpe from Wikipedia. Omajemite (talk) 17:47, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This account needed serious deletion. He is removing sourced and documented history by the Delta State Government. Okpe is one of the Kingdom of Urhobo tribe. Every tribe has her own dialect and Okpe is one of them including Uvwie, Ughievwen, Udu and Orogun Kimgdom. Just recently the our dialect of Urhobo called Okpe became a the new Givermor of the state . Then those that are half Okpe are seprereting Okpe from itself. The incoming Governt of Delta State has never one day decree that Okpe is a tribe or ethnic group of her own. He always claim Okpe of urhobo. Plz this account @Omajemite should speedily go for deletion before he causes more errors. He lacks the knowledge Tribe and dialects. Streetvibes (talk) 18:20, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Omajemite, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Omajemite Don Emmanuel

[edit]

Judging from the user name, you probably have a connection to the subject Omajemite Don Emmanuel.

Google is exactly the kind of standards we need. Has the subject been covered in multiple third party sources independent of the subject? Have newspapers, magazines, reputable journals, reputable third-party websites, etc. discussed him in length?

Please read this article on notability and this one on biographies of living people to get an idea as to what we expect on biographical articles around here. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 16:19, 12 October 2019 (UTC).[reply]

You know how things are done in Nigeria, Even good people are not recognized. Third party must make publication about someone before is recognized for his achievement. He build blog for them and encourage them into good blogging instead of involving in criminal activities

Hi - I know that it can be much more difficult to find reliable sources about African subjects than it can be about, for example, American ones, and I'm always eager to expand our coverage of African subjects. However, you should be aware that being notable has a specific meaning on Wikipedia - it doesn't mean that someone is a good person, or that they have done lots of good things - it means that they have been written about in reliable sources which are independent of the subject - so, a profile on a website that he works for, would not help. I'm sure that your relative is a good and significant person, but I just can't see how we can demonstrate that he is notable according to our guidelines. I hope that makes sense. Speedy deletion nomination of PROPHET JONES ODE ERUE,

[edit]

Hello Omajemite,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged PROPHET JONES ODE ERUE, for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Francis Ejiroghene Waive moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Francis Ejiroghene Waive, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Draft:Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://seedcouncil.gov.ng/dr-ebegba-rufus-eseoghene/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Omajemite requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Duplicate pages

[edit]

Creating more than one copy of essentially the same page, as you did at Draft:Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba and Draft:Rufus Ebegba, is unhelpful for a number of reasons, including the fact that it makes it difficult for editors to keep track of changes to the pages. I have merged the history of those two drafts, so that the entire history of your editing on the subject can easily be found in one place. Please avoid doing similar things again. Copying material from other places to Wikipedia

[edit]

It is almost never suitable to copy content from another web site to Wikipedia, for more than one reason, the most important being copyright. When you post anything to Wikipedia you release it for anyone in the world to reuse it, either unchanged or modified in any way whatever, subject to attribution to Wikipedia. It is very rare that the owner of a web site licenses content for such very free reuse, and in those few occasions when they do so, we require proof of the fact. We don't assume that content is freely licensed on the unsubstantiated say so of just anyone who comes along and creates a Wikipedia account. Certainly we can't accept text copied from a website bearing a copyright notice which says "Alright [sic] reserved." JBW (talk) 08:57, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It was never my intention to...

On Aghalokpe .... I send the copy from Wikipedia to Ejes Gist News to published it so as to have External line source.

On Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba.

It was not intentional... I have being hearing and watching news about him and I felt he should be included on Wikipedia...

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
