Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Wofaps
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Wofaps, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Draft:World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.wofaps.org/about/ and https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00383-020-04651-x. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Speedy deletion nomination of Edealo
[edit]Hello Pianzaco,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Edealo for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Mahmoud Elfiky moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Mahmoud Elfiky, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hi Pianzaco! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Mahmoud Elfiky that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:25, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]I've made some copyediting and put in the infobox. I have 2 content questions:
- Who's Pellerin? I assume he's the second president further down. The first mention of him in the first sentence of History section is too abrupt and lacks context. But if there's nothing more to add, I suggest dropping his name from the first sentence altogether.
- The lead section has president and president elect. If this is a temporary situation, please see MOS:DATED. Aithus (talk) 15:15, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}

- You created the overtly promotional article Edealo and this is your website. Cullen328 (talk) 19:51, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
Again in full disclosure, both are my websites. EDEALO is an up and running website that was featured in the media over the past 6 years. When the page was not accepted, I did not try to bring it back or abuse my account. You will not find any mentions of PIANZA as it is my nickname and I have left my signature on all websites I have created. Again, as I discosed before, I am surgeon with digital skills. I have not received any payments for publishing about EDEALO or any other.
I am a bit confused here. Is it my nickname that it is against policy or my actions? If it is the username because it sounds commercial, then I have requested it to be changed. If it is my actions because I know a lot about surgery (as a surgeon) and digital skills, then please guide me to fix it. The page edealo was removed and I did not try to bring it back when I read the comments. I did not abuse my account. I am learning my way here, day by day.
- As clearly indicated above, both your username and your edits are inappropriate. --Yamla (talk) 20:38, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
- Yamla then I request you kindly show me what is wrong and I will rectify it. I am al yours
- You are using a username which is the same as your marketing website, which is contrary to policy. You wrote a promotional article about your other website. That is also against policy. You must address both of these issues in your unblock request. Cullen328 (talk) 20:45, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
- OK> So the promotional article was rejected and I complied. My username; I requested it to be changed.

Comment: There is a relevant discussion at WP:COIN#Draft:World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons. It is my opinion, Pianzaco is continuing to misrepresent who they are and their connection to WOFAPS. This is not just a nickname, it has been demonstrated it is the name of the digital marketing company engaged by WOFAPS. Pianzaco continues to refuse to admit a conflict of evidence amid quite substantial hard evidence. Changing the user name (especially just truncating it) changes nothing about who they are and their COI or status as an undeclared (and likely paid) connected editor. --SVTCobra 23:38, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
I have repeatedly explained that I am a physician and I do digital works for the WOFAPS and others. I am not getting paid to put this page or others. I disclosed my work. Again, if it is the name, I can change it to something less promotional. If it is my work/skills under scrutiny, I can provide explanations. The digital agency website was setup for years and you can check it has not been updated in 5 years. It carries my nickname. I use it as an alias. I am willing to do whatever the mods require me to do to come clean — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pianzaco (talk • contribs)
- The two glaring policy violations with your editing have been explained to you repeatedly, and yet you continue to file unblock requests that do not address these policy violations in a substantive way. You claim to be a physician but we have no way to verify the truth of that and your status as a physician, even if true, has absolutely no bearing on an unblock request. You also claim to have "digital skills" but you show no signs of having read and understood the many links left here on your user talk page that explain the problems. There is no way under the sun that any administrator will approve a new username that is some kind of shortening or abbreviation of your website name. That isn't going to happen so please stop trying. Wikipedia has very strong policies against advertising and self promotion, so you need to read and understand those policies and guidelines. If you think that not objecting to the deletion of that overtly promotional Edealo article is sufficient, then you are wrong. Spammers and self promoters are unwelcome on Wikipedia. We need to be persuaded that you understand that this type of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and that you will never self promote again, and that you will also not lie to other editors again. We need frank self-disclosures, not naked attempts to cover up a glaring conflict of interest. Cullen328 (talk) 07:17, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
Cullen328 OK , I frankly declare that I am a physician. I work on digital marketing as a freelancer for years. I have created the website for myself (agency) and WOFAPS and others. I have not received any fees for creating these wiki pages. I own Edealo website, I saw many websites have their own wiki pages so I tried to create one. I did not know it was a violation. When it was taken down I did not try to bring it back. I will not self promote again. I understand your concerns and I thank You. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pianzaco (talk • contribs)
- I don't know why you repeatedly are declaring you are a physician. Frankly, that you are a doctor is wholly irrelevant. Will you acknowledge that you have a conflict of interest with regards to World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons?
I also find that you have been engaged in citation spamming by adding references to Wikipedia articles that are PIANZA websites. Examples: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] and [6]. It is getting increasingly difficult to believe that you are here to build an encyclopedia. --SVTCobra 01:21, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
