Wiki Loves Pride 2014

Hi Pinkkeith. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Another Believer (Talk) 16:24, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Sorry to be a bother, but do you know of any better sources for her birth date? esportsearnings.com isn't particularly reliable, as they get their data from tips and unreliable sites like the open TeamLiquid wiki. Scarlett is known for being protective of her privacy (which is understandable), and it doesn't seem like she or any reliable sources have reported this information. About your profile

I'd like to ask your permission if I can copy part of its format and use it for my own profile. I've been looking for ways to get creative with my own even as I make contributions to various articles, yet even though I've been a wikipedian since 2009, there are still many things I don't understand. The reason I'm asking is because I like what you've contributed to a site that I've come to regard as something of a second or third home. Thank you. - Zach Hontiveros Pagkalinawan (talk) 16:17, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Pink Fae. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Betnijah Laney, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Betnijah Laney to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:58, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:45, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on J. L. Langley, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Laura in the Kitchen

The article Laura in the Kitchen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability or importance.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WNBA draft templates

I had started a discussion on this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Basketball/Women's basketball/Archives/2020/April#WNBA draft templates when I made these edits. How about contributing to that discussion so we can come up with a global guideline? In my opinion, there is no need for three rounds and many (never said all) of those third-rounders historically are not notable per WP guidelines. You and I having a difference of opinion is all well and good, but it feels like we need more involved in the discussion to avoid the reverting over preference. Wiki Loves Pride 2016

As a participant of WikiProject LGBT studies, you are invited to participate in the third annual Wiki Loves Pride campaign, which runs through the month of June. The purpose of the campaign is to create and improve content related to LGBT culture and history. How can you help?

  1. Create or improve LGBT-related Wikipedia pages and showcase the results of your work here
  2. Document local LGBT culture and history by taking pictures at pride events and uploading your images to Wikimedia Commons
  3. Contribute to an LGBT-related task force at another Wikimedia project (Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, etc.)

Looking for topics? The Tasks page, which you are welcome to update, offers some ideas and wanted articles.

This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. The group's mission is to develop LGBT-related content across all Wikimedia projects, in all languages. Visit the affiliate's page at Meta-Wiki for more information, or follow Wikimedia LGBT+ on Facebook. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Wikipedia, plain and simple, and all are welcome! If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's talk page.

Thanks, and happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:39, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. User:Pink Fae/Userboxes/bathroomuse10, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Pink Fae/Userboxes/bathroomuse10 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Pink Fae/Userboxes/bathroomuse10 during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Sorry about that. I've closed it as withdrawn. I should have considered it more before filing. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:22, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

The article Patricia Babcock-McGraw has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
