Thanks Diannaa. I'll summarize and re-word most of them, but I don't understand the concern with content taken from the Canadian defence department website. Its cpoyright terms state the following:

" 5. Crown Copyright / Commercial and Non-Commercial Reproduction In order to use Crown copyright protected materials managed by the Department of National Defence or the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF), such as the photographs and videos available at www.combatcamera.ca, the textual material available on this website, or the recordings and performances of CAF bands, please follow the instructions below. NOTE: The instructions below do not apply to trade-marks such as CAF badges, crests, flags and insignia, as well as the Yellow Ribbon associated with the “Support Our Troops” program. Permission is not Required When the use is non-commercial. When the use is commercial but the anticipated revenue is under $10,000. Permission is Required When the material is being revised, adapted, modified, or translated. When the material will be used commercially and the anticipated annual revenue exceeds $10,000. To request permission for (a) or (b) above, please apply for a license. NOTE: Use is never allowed when the use of a reproduction would: be in an undignified context; be considered unfair, misleading or inaccurate (e.g. suggest an endorsement by DND/CAF); be used in a context that may prejudice or harm a third party; or be considered inappropriate by the author department or agency."

Since permission is not required "When the use is non-commercial", why were my Surgeon General entries taken from the Canadian defence department's website deleted?Red robin girl (talk) 22:03, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not mark all your edits as minor when they do not meet the criteria[edit]

Information icon Hi Red robin girl! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism.
