Re: Hi

It probably isn't necessary accoridng to the guidelines, but I know that a lot of albums and singles have switched over to the format, and I actually quite like it myself (I think it looks a bit neater and cleaner compared to the haphazard and inconsistent structuring that is typically used). There are a lot of other parameters that can be used (seen at Template:Tracklist), which is probably the reason for the wideness. MelicansMatkin (talk) 14:55, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't know if there is a way to shorten the length or not, but you can ask at Template talk:Tracklist; I'm sure the people on there would know if it's possible. One thing I've noticed is that if the template happens to run up against an infobox, it does appear to be a bit shorter to prevent any overlapping. MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:03, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey-- here's something

Hi-- my computer still has indegestion. So does Wikimedia Commons, I've been whining (terribly embarrassing when you throw a temper tantrum with an admin. here, who is kind!) all day when my side works, Commons doesn't. Damn. Anyway, should this reach you, other stuff in my life has taken my time by surprise so I've not been too active, but, I was thinking of you when I found this: it's interesting to listen to when you work, and could perhaps help in editing articles, song/album pages, etc.: In the Studio with Redbeard, It has some great interviews with Eric Clapton, and lots of other wonderful bands going like, 40 years back! Check it out. --leahtwosaints (talk) 19:33, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

PROD

In regards to creating new articles, notability is not inherited. That is, something does not deserve a page simply because it is associated with something that is notable. Notability must be established for the subject of the article by following the notability guidelines. Basically, what the page needs is citations from reliable secondary sources indicating its notability. WesleyDodds (talk) 21:12, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Firstly, remove all the references from the the website about the club. Stick to citations from independent sources. Remove all sources that simply mention the club without saying anythign about it (ie. "This band is playing there tonight . . ."). WesleyDodds (talk) 21:35, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry, I won't. WesleyDodds (talk) 21:42, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Lightning

I love your article on The Lightning Strike, a beautiful song deserves a beautiful article. It's impressive and should've taken a lot of time. I'm going to convert it and place it on the Dutch Wikipedia. :) RichV (talk) 22:21, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Thank you so much for your kind words! In fact, it did not take that much time as I had figured out in my mind what I wanted to include. I do notice you have done lot of work on SP on dutch wiki, good going! And yes, a beautiful song, and "notable" as well, so i figured it must be on wiki. Suede67 (talk) 22:29, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I've put your reaction on this page, or else it would be a bit chaotic :). If you know what you want to write on a song, you'll have an article in a snap! And yes, I'm like the only person that's working on the Dutch SP articles. But I copy a lot of the English pages, and add some of my own input. Just like I do with the Linkin Park-articles, only I've worked more on those pages and even got the Linkin Park page being a featured article, which I'm very proud of. Maybe a SP article in the future! And I also saw you on The Third Bar :). RichV (talk) 22:37, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh! I am the only one working on SP in english wiki as well! Surprisingly, no one seems interested, apart from anonymous IP addresses! So are you on the third bar as well? My name there is the same: suede67. What is yours? And I saw the Linkin Park (Dutch) article. Excellent! I'm hopeless at biography articles thats why I havent touched the Snow Patrol band article. Just trying to work my way through the singles new to old. Suede67 (talk) 22:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

edit: a suggestion! you mentioned "maybe an sp article in future". start the SP awards page. it's the easiest way to get an FL/FA. but still, in fairness, the dutch wiki lacks it currently. Suede67 (talk) 22:43, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

My name there is ThePretender but I'm not a member (I didn't knew you could be a member there). The most of the biography is from the English wikipedia with some addition because my knowledge about Linkin Park is pretty big. Maybe I can help you, but don't get your hopes up really high, I'll try. I'm also primaly busy with the singles, with Planets as my best one. Chasing Cars isn't created by myself so I can't name that one. It's a nice idea, but I don't know if the Dutch wiki is really receptive of award-pages as featured article. I'm currently trying to get nl:Minutes to Midnight as a featured article, but it's really hard! But about SP, first I want to set up a discography page. That is one of my "specialties" as I really like the Dutch discography of Linkin Park. We'll see what the future brings. RichV (talk) 22:54, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
You cant be a member at the Thirdbar, but if you post a comment, it automatically remembers your name and email, so you dont have to enter it again. It's not problem if you cant pop up on English wiki often. Your tidbits are equally helpful. Especially that about rockets to be released in the Netherlands. I wouldnt have known it, since there is no other mention of this anywhere. I didnt realize dutch wiki doesnt have a Disco page for SP! Yes, your're right, that is more required at the moment than an awards page! Good luck with it! About LP's disco page, it has virtually no references, that's the most required thing right now. I have to go now, btw, i'll catch you later, Good day! Suede67 (talk) 23:02, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I've never posted a comment, just some tips for Sam. Like concerning the Pinkpop gig. And thanks for the hint of the LP disco page, it's gonna be a big challange to find the references. Maybe on the English page. Too bad you can't help me on the Dutch pages. I'll do my best on the English ones! Ok, bye!. RichV (talk) 23:11, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I was just leaving, was finding a ref, done that, btw. I can actually help you to FIND refs. It wouldnt matter if english refs are being used on the dutch pages, right? So if you tell me you need to find a ref for something, say charting for a single, i can try to find it. Just ask! If you need help, just leave a message. I'll see it when I come back. See ya. Re: U2 video directors

I'll take a look at it, but I'm quite busy right now in trying to get No Line on the Horizon to FAC among other things. I meant to do a bit of work on the directors when the FLC happened but, as usual, I forgot ^^;. I don't imagine it would be too too hard to find that information, it's just finding the time to look at and integrate it. Thanks for the note; I'll look at it after work and see if I can do something. MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:26, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks; there was a peer review a couple of days ago, so I'm working on implementing those suggestions before moving to FAC (starting with focusing on the references). It's gonna take me a little while, but it will be definitely worth the effort! MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:50, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh not at all; it's a collaborative effort after all, and that would be a great help! There are a couple of links for certs and such that I posted a while back on the talk page, but I don't check them all that often to see if there has been any updates, only once a month or so. Checking all the refs and such would be a massive help, thanks! MelicansMatkin (talk) 16:39, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks so much, that was a huge help! MelicansMatkin (talk) 17:05, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Please ask for citations before deleting

Please ask for citations before deleting. Deleting is easy, adding content takes effort. Give other editors a chance to improve their work by requesting sources or citations before deleting. It is very discouraging to have work deleted. Detailed edit summaries or comments on the talk page also help. -- Horkana (talk) 20:12, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Rationale for my changes explained on the talk page. Chop, change, adapt, merge, ask for citation, but please delete only as a last resort after trying other things first. -- Horkana (talk) 20:22, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Not sure how you want me to provide a citation for the introduction. The lyrics are the source, if any of the rest is too much like opinion you don't feel is directly supported by the lyrics please rephrase. I'm not expecting there to be an additional source beyond the lyrics themselves. -- Horkana (talk) 22:44, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Snow Patrol template

No problem, I've tagged it for a WP:SPEEDY#G7 (author requests deletion). It should be deleted my an admin soon. --JD554 (talk) 20:31, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

NLOTH infobox

Wow, way to catch those professional reviews; I didn't even know that was the proper format for it! I think about half of those links were also used in the Reception section (around 5 or 6 anyways), so I just combined them so we wouldn't have duplicate references. Thanks again for doing that though, I would never have known otherwise. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:01, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

They really are; I've looked at some old FA noms and it's often the small details you wouldn't even think about that drag it down. I'd never seen it before you added it to the article, but I'm really glad that I know now!
PS, have you seen the new music video? MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:22, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Hahah, I'm actually just writing up a summary now! Normally YouTube can't be used as a source, but since it was first posted by the band's offical YouTube channel, I think it qualifies in this occassion. I'll be sure to let you know with NLOTH (you should probably expect me to come knocking at some point!); I've tried to vary some of the wording and make some other small changes for the prose and repetition, but it's slow work and pretty time-consuming. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:39, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
So, whaddya think? As for other interviews, it really depends. I personally wouldn't cite the YouTube link if it was just cut from a TV show and uploaded by a regular user. I'd rather cite the actual program using {{cite news}}, {{cite video}}, or {{cite episode}}, depending on what applies best. I'd only use YouTube as a reference if it came from an official band channel, or to link to a music video that has been posted by the proper distributor (such as universalmusicgroup). You've really got to judge very carefully when using something like YouTube. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:00, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Excellent description; I hope my copyedit has helped! MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
A typo is to be expected, knowing me :P. Glad I was able to help. It's true what they say, a fresh pair of eyes can be an immense help. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Bad charts

Yep, that's the one; iLike gains all of it's data exclusively from iTunes, and iTunes is on the list. It's actually kinda surprising how many deprecated charts there are. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:51, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: grading your articles

Greetings- I took a look at the first song you mentioned, "Take Back the City", and found a tiny editing mistake within the first couple of sentences-- something like, "it was written when the Gary Lightbody...". The Gary Lightbody? Would it be OK for me to copyedit your song pages first, or suggest the changes (having me do it and then grade each would be quicker) and then place what class they are in? I think you too, have been working too hard. I also have a suggestion, about how you say things like, "It was released on November 10, 11, 12, and 13, depending on the region." (Yes not quoting you, just giving gist of what they say in the beginning as an example here.) I think it would be best to reword sentences like that. Maybe say "It was released on five separate dates, from November 10 - November 13, depending upon the area targeted for distribution by ______." (whatever the record label is, I dunno). How do you feel about that? Or the same sentence ending with "depending on the region", or "depending on the area". Anyway, it's late here, but would you let me copyedit them like I did for you before your FA article the first time? I wouldn't make any changes like that last suggestion, just really sensible ones. OK? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 07:52, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

No Line on the Horizon (again)

Hey, I have another request for you regarding No Line on the Horizon. I've addressed most of the requests in the peer review, and all that's left is a clean-up of the prose and copyedit. Since your eyes are fresher than mine, could I ask you to take a quick look and help me to copyedit the article? Cheers, MelicansMatkin (talk) 23:36, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

"Since your eyes are fresher than mine" - Haaha!! I'll take a quick look and make changes if I feel so. Suede67 (talk) 23:38, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, your edits really helped. A ref probably would be good for that (I know it exists and I think another source mentions it somewhere), but that part of the sentence may not even be needed (though it is interesting!). The "White as Snow" part probably isn't necessary, but I think it adds to the background of the album tracks. I think that mention is something that the FAR would decide on, if it comes up then. You're right that the album wouldn't have been eligible, but I don't think that there is a source which mentions that. Hmm, maybe changing it to "despite the album not being eligible for any awards" (hope that won't need a source) would work. The full stops aren't intended, it's just a silly error on my part. Since it's a bulleted list, no punctuation should be necessary. I don't think a ref is needed for the "Crazy" single since U2.com carries it (and it's best not to use that as a source in the article); I'll try and find one somewhere to cover it, but if I can't find one other than U2.com I don't think it'll be a major issue. The notes section contained a very brief blurb about "Cedars of Lebanon", but thinking about it that should really be integrated into the article instead. Eh, I've tried to act on your points as best as I could; here's hoping I succeeded somewhat.
Thanks very much for taking the time to copy-edit (and your kind comments!). It's definitely looking better because of it. I've asked Merbabu to take a look too, since another pair of eyes may spot things that we've both missed. I'll be sure to let you know when I nominate, but if you have the article on your watchlist you may see a talk page edit regarding it. MelicansMatkin (talk) 00:51, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Whoops; I merged the information into the article but forgot to remove the notation! (But I did find a citation for the "longest gap" bit). MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:23, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Shh, we don't like to use the "T" word around here ;-). By the way, like the screenshot I added to the IGCIIDGCT article? (That's one hell of an acronym). MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:40, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Urgh, I was trying to find an image of a woman in a position of power to illustrate the quote, but couldn't find anything. So I settled on that one for the green-screen effects in the hope that one would sneak in while I took it. =S MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:46, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

And bed-time for me; bye! MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:56, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Didn't do it yet.

S- The more I looked at "Take Back the City", I kept thinking I'd rather be able to sort of discuss changes with you as I go along. How did we work it last time? You put a copy in your sandbox, or..? Just because together our ideas are much better than just one brain working. I'd hate to spend real time on something and then find out there was information I didn't know about. Next time you're online, drop me a message and once I'm back home tomorrow AM, as soon as I log into Wikipedia, I'll let you know, and as I go along, the few suggestions that are more than wikignome stuff, we can discuss. Will that work for you? You really are creative with these! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 04:08, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Chart edits

Not at all, it definitely looks better now (especially the album positions). This is one of those things I'd have missed completely, and it makes the article look shorter and more compact too. MelicansMatkin (talk) 04:49, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I didn't think you were ;). And don't be pensive; be bold! MelicansMatkin (talk) 04:59, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

If there's a rocket..

OK S- Here's what I see now:

  1. Second sentence, you gave the dates but not the year of release.
  2. Someplace you must have read about it not selling, possibly b/c it was not available in CD format. Look for the reference. Don't sell the article short, cause it would explain a lot. From what I can tell it did much better in internet downloads, so that leaves vinyl as one of the culprits for stunting the sale of the single.
  3. Under reception, how about starting the section off saying something like, "Although initial reception of the song upon the release of the album release was very positive, it was tempered by other reviews." --and then say something like, "Reviews were favorable from [I don't know-- ah ][Magazine A], [Magazine B], and [Mothers chart service]. [Mag.A said, "___"."] {Magazine B followed up with "___" and [Mothers, etc.] went so far as to say "__", lavishing praise on ______. However, on the other hand, [Critical Journal One] said "______", [Critical magazine number 2 said "____", and {Critical three went so far to say they wouldn't "let their dog sh*t" on it". (Sorry, Im getting kind of worn out! :)) I think its more cohesive and shows the whole contrast and comparison in the reviews.
  4. In promotion and release section, (to me) there is a slightly confusing comment about the B side of the record, and I tried to rewrite it.. but it falls short. I would not say it is soley by Lightbody, somehow that doesn t sound right, either. And unless there is a video to go with it, who cares where it was composed, or on what river banks. That was what I meant when I said do not give the reader extra info they either dont care about or will serve to clutter the article. You want something crisp, and consise. OK my computer is starting to die, and Im worn out so lets continue this later, ok?

Please do me a favor. Look for Nils Lofgren. Would you please see the second photo near the bottom of the pagek and splice the additional little amount of space that sort of keeps the photo off balance for me? I sure would apppreciate it.--Leahtwosaints (talk) 21:49, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Couple of things

First, thanks for your patience. I didn't see your comment on my final "If There's a Rocket" discussion. I think the first point, at least, is valid. ALWAYS put the year with any date. That said, I overstayed my welcome in my suggestions to you on that.

OTHER Stuff

Other things (aren't you relieved?)

  1. I'll review the other articles, copyedit a little, but I won't get all wrapped up in it. It's your baby after all, and I am not really qualified to make a lot of judgement calls not knowing Snow Patrol as you do.
  2. About great discographies other than Pink Floyd, which is worth looking over outside just the Disc. section for ideas not easy to find even with work groups tackling a subject. Ever notice that it's usually individual musicians rather than band pages that make it to FA? Like, Bob Dylan, John Frusciante, etc? Anyway, for all kinds of ideas, see Pink Floyd, but another GREAT discography is from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's all about different styles. Just a thought. It's my sad lot to want to stand up for the underdog, and those session musicians with long history aren't easy to approach alone. Waddy Wachtel, for example. Just listing all the musicians he's backed takes paragraphs, not to mention record labels and discographies. Any ideas on how to list musicians that session players have supported?? You can see how messy it looks; David Lindley (who performed behind Jackson Browne- a favorite of mine) and some others, like Steve Jordan, Pino Palladino, and Vinnie Colaiuta pose problems. Do you think it'll take another page to do justice to their discographies? I suspect that's true. Would you look at David Lindley and Waddy Wachtel, any thoughts? I really haven't put work into them. Other more notable musicians, like Jackson Browne for example or.. I really should return to the Dixie Chicks and finish where I was run off. That's when I'm not already doing all the other stuff I'm doing.--Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:05, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

About "Rocket"

You said, "I made lil' changes, but I'm not sure if they'll do. My feeling is that any SP fan would perfectly understand it. So I feel its fine. Anyway, if you have any more suggestions, fire away". Suede67 (talk) 15:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

OK! I was so busy uploading those photos-- there's a bunch more that have been on "hold", for a whole lot of articles, some of which I have to build infoboxes, and then always, I copyedit, wikify, add reference sections, discography sections, fix some data, esp. in the infobox, (like list all the different record labels, the way people's hometown and birthdate are entered) and all kinds of things. Sorry! I just have a lot of neurotic photographers I have to teach step by step like Spinningspark did for me to upload, lately (LOL!) so it isn't copyright infringement. Commons won't accept copyrighted images, or any of the others. By the way, you can alter and trim images-- see my talk page where there are photos Spinningspark has left there. Click on one. See, you can make adjustments on any image in Commons! He would know how, and so would Mudwater, who is also still an editor, and will be kind and answer any questions you have about stuff; he's great at copyediting and would also rank your pages too. His talk page can be accessed from mine, and not only has he been here longer than us, but he often answers the help line for new editors too. I urge you to introduce yourself, and get to know him! So, I will get to Rocket- this the final copyedit? After that, which one- or are you OK without me looking them? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Also, a couple more things. There is a woman with a Great band page of Snow Patrol with everyone in the band visable. I asked her to allow us to use it instead of the one we have now, it's [1] and she also has this[2] Did you get this here?:[3]? I'm going to ask for all of them, but I need to be able to tell the woman with the first 2 things- she wants to know where the ticket stub would go? And where should I say the last item - (a poster?)would be placed? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Pics

I placed the new band photo in the infobox for you. The owner was very adamant about getting "attribution", and is entitled to it, as the license she chose in Commons. You commented that you wanted the band photo in two other places, correct? And, the old Band photo is still in Commons, so if you want variety, you can put either one or the other in those other two places. However, the photographer's name (in this case, just: Ellen) must be placed with the caption under any of her photos, and is more often than not done so in the infobox. I did promise her that her name, "Ellen" would be placed with the captions like I just did in the infobox, on either of her two images, the band photo or the ticket.

The ticket is here:

File:Eyes Open.jpg
Entrance to Eyes Open Concert

I didn't place it yet, so you may place it where you wish; just be sure to place her name, like: Courtesy: Ellen.--Leahtwosaints (talk) 07:31, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I know, and it looks absolutely terrible now. I must have searched for an hour trying to find those... can you re-add the ones you've found? MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:30, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Not long I hope. Dream out loud is still going through the prose and doing some tweaks when he has the time. I'm hoping he won't be too much longer, but I don't want to be annoying and keep asking him how much longer it'll be. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:34, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, I'd say that the template should be universal without colour-coding for each seperate page. I really like the green-colour one though. The yellow one seems a bit off with the links all being in black. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:43, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh no, I know that! I meant that it should be universal within the same cluster of articles! So the Snow Patrol template wouldn't be different colours on each article, it would be the same colour on each. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:49, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, I vote green =P. I think the black is too dark and the yellow is kind of unappealing. Neutral on all the others. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 23:52, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I'll certainly try to ;) MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 02:21, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
We can work on it here; I love subpages. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 02:25, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Very, though I'd trust Orbison's website more than U2Wanderer since it's official. The release date I put was when it was "Infobox song", since I didn't realize it was released as a single and that's when the album came out. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 15:59, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Aye, but it's possible that when it first charted it hadn't been released as a single. "No Line on the Horizon" and "Moment of Surrender" have done the same from No Line on the Horizon after all. The trouble is, since the track was released in the late 80s and really isn't all that well known, it's difficult to find anything that confirms what we need. Oh crap, how did I do that? I thought I'd grabbed everything! MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 14:21, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Snow Patrol discography

No, I can't see anything with it that needs to be done. I wouldn't recommend TV appearances be included since they're pretty much irrelevant to the discography. MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 14:29, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

A Hundred Million Songs

Good work on the charts. One request, though: could you use properly licensed archives (like the Hung Medien sites: swisscharts.com, mexicancharts.com, lescharts.com, etc.) instead of acharts.us? I haven't started to campaign to completely remove acharts.us yet, but I'm thinking about it. They aren't licensed to publish the data they have, don't properly source it, and publish some truly bad charts. Even more confusingly, for Italy they publish an unofficial chart that they refuse to identify the source for even though an official one exists. I've already gone ahead and switched the source for this article.—Kww(talk) 14:50, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

WP:GOODCHARTS is the best reference for it. Any of the sites labeled "Hung Medien" access a completely licensed database. If you are addicted to English, then australian-charts.com is the easiest of their sites to use. These sites are all different front-ends to the same database, so you can get data for all the countries they cover from any of the sites.—Kww(talk) 14:58, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

No it wasn't me this time. Sorry, I've only just read the message. In future though if you ever want one of you user pages deleted, simply add {{db-u1}} to the top of the page and an admin will know that you want it deleting. If it's an article/template/image etc you want deleting that you created (and no one else has edited), you can add {{db-author}} to the top and, again, an admin will know you want it deleting. More info on speedy deletions can be found at WP:SPEEDY. --JD554 (talk) 08:11, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Shut Your Eyes

Hey there. I read that SYE failed to chart in the UK. But do you have a source of the British single release? Eyes Open had a really weird single chronology.

UK
  1. You're All I Have
  2. Chasing Cars
  3. Set the Fire
  4. Open Your Eyes
  5. Shut Your Eyes?
Netherlands
  1. You're All I Have
  2. Chasing Cars
  3. Open Your Eyes (release had been scrapped)
  4. Shut Your Eyes
  5. Shut Your Eyes (re-release after Flemish success)
  6. Set the Fire (video airplay only)
Flanders
  1. You're All I Have
  2. Chasing Cars
  3. Open Your Eyes
  4. Shut Your Eyes
  5. Set the Fire

You know the Australian and the German chronology? We could place this on the Eyes Open page.

A new present

From Ellen:

she says: "Hi Leah,

Thanks for putting my name with the photo. I like the tour pages, I had no idea there even were tourpages like this on wikipedia. Very cool.

I have changed the license for the other ticket www.flickr.com/photos/heavenuphere/3316360192 so you can use that one as well now.

Ellen

More tommorrow! Love, --Leahtwosaints (talk) 17:27, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Ellen knows

Leave the attribution there as much as possible, replace it if you see it torn down on new places. Here's the new one: [[File::Snow Patrol Concert Melkweg.jpg|thumb|220px|Ticket Amsterdam]] I'll write her more, as can you. It may be enough that it's under the photo, which Wikipedia users know to click for more info. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 13:54, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
