Draft:Direct Differentiation and Integration of Logarithms

Thanks for your vote. I searched the main space and I'm sure it's not covered at all. This is from historical time point of view. Differentiation and Integration remained unsolved for a long time since 80's and before at time of big Calculus. Now a days, it is solved and referenced, and all Mathematics Scientists are using it in their university classes from the highest level to high school levels. So this is famous and important topic showing time passed (on logarithms) while incomplete topic in mathematics. No any article in wikipedia shows this perspective of logarithms and mathematics. This is posted to all voters

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Oka-Weil theorem, from its old location at User:SilverMatsu/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 01:40, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Liance Thank you for your help. This page is usually used as a draft for creating other articles, and I will reissue a new draft.--SilverMatsu (talk) 01:45, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
I made a mistake sending the draft, thinking that a new draft page would be created. The diffs on this page are not related to Oka-Weil theorem.--SilverMatsu (talk) 01:53, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Hartogs's theorem requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Starting a move discussion

Hi, move discussions are usually held on the talk page of the article being moved, so just go to Talk:F(x) (group) and add the code {{subst:requested move|f(x)|reason=}}, filling in the "reason" parameter with the reason for the move (further explanation can be found at WP:RM#Requesting a single page move, and some pointers regarding discussing which is the primary topic can be found at WP:PRIMARYTOPIC). – Thjarkur (talk) 10:31, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Regarding notifying Wikiprojects and others interested: Usually you'd just start a requested move discussion at Talk:F(x) (group) and then leave a note about it on Talk:Function (mathematics) and perhaps (if the move is very important) on the WikiProject talk page. – Thjarkur (talk) 10:43, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Tell us about consensus and discussion

Please help me with... I was having a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics#Proposal: move(Change the article name) Several complex variables to Function of several complex variables. Apparently the page was moved, but I wasn't sure if there was any consensus. To summarize the discussion, three editors, including myself, expressed their support and two editors opposition. And I had two editors correct the lead sentence, and the bold text remained the Function of several complex variables. And the page was moved because of its consistency with the Function of real complex variables. I tried to get the user who moved the page to close the discussion, but it seems that she/he is busy. I wouldn't like this question to stand out, and I felt like I was snowballing the discussion, so I posted it on my talk page. Thank you for taking the time to ask a question. --SilverMatsu (talk) 19:32, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

My question is probably related to Wikipedia:Consensus and Wikipedia:Closing discussions. --SilverMatsu (talk) 21:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
I'm continuing the discussion, even though the discussion has already reached the consensus of movement, or the consensus that there is no consensus, in this case on the discussion page, I think it would be snowball to say that.--SilverMatsu (talk) 00:14, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
To summarize what I'd like to ask, I'd like to see if it's okay to conclude that the move has been approved by the community, and if I need to close the discussion, if so, please tell me the closing procedure.--SilverMatsu (talk) 09:38, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
You should ask all the editors who discussed it if there was any consensus.

64.121.103.144 (talk) 19:49, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you. I will do that--SilverMatsu (talk) 20:54, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

May 2021

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Several complex variables. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Also, this move was improper and disruptive because only the target of this redirect, Function of several complex variables, could plausibly be referred to by this name.LaundryPizza03 (d) 14:51, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

LaundryPizza03 Thanks for the review. But what I copied is rather Proposal: move(Change the article name) Several complex variables to Function of several complex variables. More on that in RfD. thanks!--SilverMatsu (talk) 15:20, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

Oka–Weil theorem

Please note my edits to Oka–Weil theorem. In particular:

  • I changed the title from Oka-Weil theorem (with a hyphen) to Oka–Weil theorem (with an en-dash). That is standard usage under WP:MOS.
  • In several other places, including ranges of page numbers, I changed a hyphen to an en-dasy, as prescribed by WP:MOS.
  • I set the title phrase in bold at its first appearance, as prescribed by WP:MOS.

Disambiguation link notification for May 21

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Function of several complex variables, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chow's theorem and Vanishing theorem. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Monovalent functions?

Hi! You use the term monovalent holomorphic function, which does not appear to be a standard term (correct me if I am wrong), at Draft:Behnke–Stein theorem on Stein manifolds and Function of several complex variables.

Can you point out a reference for this term if it is actually standard terminology or otherwise use different terms? Articles should only use terms that are standard or that are used in the supporting references. Thanks!— MarkH21talk 08:35, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

@MarkH21: Thank you for the advice and article improvements. Fixed to single-valued function.--SilverMatsu (talk) 10:34, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Ah okay, thanks! That makes a lot more sense! — MarkH21talk 10:41, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

Bochner's tube theorem

Hi SilverMatsu. Can you add a description of generalizations of Bochner's theorem in one of the refs you added? (or the relevance of that ref otherwise). PhysicsAboveAll (talk) 04:27, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

@PhysicsAboveAll: Thank you for your message. I found a reference with a simpler condition about it.[Bochner'stheorem 1] For Microlocal Version.[Bochner'stheorem 2] It seems that a paper about the generalization of this has recently been published.[Bochner'stheorem 3]--SilverMatsu (talk) 09:27, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
@SilverMatsu: If you think these references are important you can add them to the article. But let's please not create two reference lists as you did before. Let's just keep one reference list and cite papers that you want to add and perhaps explain what is the generalization there. Otherwise it's a bit useless just to cite the paper without saying what was done there. It would be OK in a scientific paper but in an encyclopedia it's not ideal. PhysicsAboveAll (talk) 07:39, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
@PhysicsAboveAll: My purpose was to share a reference with the editor of the page, but your advice improve my skills in editing wikipedia, so thank you for your advice and also I'm going to edit that page. --SilverMatsu (talk) 08:39, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
@SilverMatsu: Can you proofread your edit since there are many spelling mistakes and strange word usages such as "supposition"? Also you use the term "CR function" which has not been defined in this article, so you need to refer to some wikipedia article where this term was defined (as I did for holomorphic function). Thanks! PhysicsAboveAll (talk) 05:43, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
@PhysicsAboveAll: Thank you for the review. I tried to fix it. For the CR function, is explained a bit in CR manifold. The CR manifold article itself also has a red link to the CR function. I found two references[CRfunction 1][CRfunction 2] about it. For the time being, I will look for other references. Regarding PlanetMath, it seems that there was a campaign before, but the article was not created, also we may be able to get some advice by pinging @Oleg Alexandrov:. (Looking at the user page, it looks like it's busy and may take some time … thanks, too!--SilverMatsu (talk) 11:13, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
@SilverMatsu: I am sorry to see that you totally messed up Bochner's tube theorem article. Frankly, your English nor your level of mathematics writing is not up to the level required for writing on English wikipedia. If you are a mathematician and you write your mathematics this way, I doubt your papers will be accepted by English-language mathematics journals. It's OK for me if you keep your edits restricted to the Generalization section, but I am going to have to undo all the other edits since they lower the level of the article significantly. If you can undo it yourself that would also be fine with me. PhysicsAboveAll (talk) 07:33, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
