A tag has been placed on Ramon REO Owen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. September 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ramon REO Owen has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/reo, http://www.myspace.com/thesoundkillers (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:09, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

November 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Phoenix (music producer) has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:04, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Phoenix(music producer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

- Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:46, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Phoenix (music producer), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Phoenix (music producer). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ~YellowFives 07:53, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The central discussion is at the page: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Phoenix (music producer). That page is readily visible to anyone in the Wikipedia community who is interested in deletion discussions, and so that page will be where the final decision will be made. (And I don't have any special say in the matter.) So your questions about sources are best addressed there. I will offer my opinion that if you can show which radio station runs the Champ blog, then the Champ blog may be a good source to keep in the article. But anyway, you should make that case at the central discussion page. Don't feel too rushed. There will be a week before the final decision is made.
I am going to be off Wikipedia for a few hours. If you haven't posted anything at the central discussion in the meantime, then I will copy your comments over there on your behalf. For general questions about sources, you may also find the "help desk" format of WP:RSN useful. ~YellowFives 21:55, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Phoenix (music producer) constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. Alansohn (talk) 22:45, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not what I would call "vandalism" since TSKREO was not making a deliberate effort to damage Wikipedia. Removing an AFD tag just once is an error.

Anyway, TSKREO, I left this reply on your behalf at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Phoenix (music producer). You are welcome to edit that central discussion page and contribute anything else you want to say there. Don't worry about the AFD tag on Phoenix (music producer). It will be removed when the discussion is over, but it needs to stay in place for now so that other readers who come upon that page can know that there's a deletion discussion going on that they can participate in. Thanks! Most of the questions you might want to address to me are probably best asked at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Phoenix_(music_producer) but there is also the Wikipedia:Help desk and Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard. ~YellowFives 02:46, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
