I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Vijay Govindarajan, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Hi, I am an Academic Coordinator at Tuck School of Business and I work with VG and he asked me to add pronunciation to his page. I keep trying to do this and it is reverted to the original. Yes. Based on your statement here, you have what Wikipedia considers a conflict of interest which should be disclosed on your user page. You can just write the same statement you've used here to explain your connection with the subject you are editing, but please include a link to the Vijay Govindarajan article.
Once you've made the disclosure, you should use the {{edit request}} template on the talk page of VG's article to explain the changes you want made. An independent editor will then make the changes, assuming they are in accordance with Wikipedia policy, such as WP:Manual of Style/Pronunciation. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:54, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is not much point in posting an edit request on an article talk page and then going ahead and making the edit yourself. That does not somehow make the edit comply with the conflict of interest guideline if it otherwise wouldn't have done so.
  • If you wish to add pronunciation information to an article, please do it in accordance with the manual of style page on the topic, as you have already been told to do.
  • Repeatedly editing the same content, or substantially the same content, into an article in the face of repeated reverts by other editors, known as "edit-warring", is considered disruptive. Presumably people who do that hope that if they persist long enough other editors will give up and leave it, so that the most stubborn editor will always get his or her way. That would not be a helpful way of resolving disputes, and so we have a policy on edit-warring. You can read that policy for yourself if you like, but the essential point is that editors who continue to edit-war after being informed of the policy are likely to be blocked from editing, to prevent continuing disruption. Likewise editors who persistently edit contrary to any other policies or guidelines may be blocked from editing. JBW (talk) 21:38, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In this edit, you added an image to Richard D'Aveni's biography that was taken from his faculty profile at Tuck School of Business. You claim that the picture is "open for use and is not copyright protected", but the profile page has a copyright claim for Tuck.
