Hi Tecarterk31! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at TLC (group) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hard Core (Lil' Kim album). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Too much trivial stuff, too many poor sources, and WP:MULTIPLE[edit]
I have cut down some of your contributions, along with your logged-out contributions as the Baton Rouge IP range Special:Contributions/2600:8807:401:170:0:0:0:0/64. The problem is that you are violating WP:INDISCRIMINATE by inserting too many trivial list entries, and you are not sticking to WP:Reliable sources, especially WP:SECONDARY sources. I have removed some YouTube interviews, some blog pages, and other primary sources that are not enough to establish importance of the fact relative to the topic.
If you're going to say that one artist influenced other artists, the reader is best served by listing the most important ones, and by giving some context for each. A simple list does not supply context. Tell a little story about each of the most important examples, and the reader will be engaged. A huge list with no context and the reader will turn off.
Finally, you have violated WP:MULTIPLE by editing the same article with your username and then later with your Baton Rouge IP addesses.[1][2] If you are going to edit the same article, you must use the same identity each time, or you will be blocked. Binksternet (talk) 22:02, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Stop adding trivia based on YouTube videos[edit]
I keep removing your poorly sourced additions, especially when they are based on a YouTube video showing an interview. Wikipedia's best sources are WP:SECONDARY sources in which a journalist might write that Artist A influenced Artist B. That's the kind of stuff which proves the connection is important to the topic. Much less important is a brief mention by the artist in an interview.
I have also removed some of your additions that added a second or third reference to something that is already referenced. There's no need to fatten the article with no improvement seen by the reader. Binksternet (talk) 20:45, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

Stop Disruptive editing.[edit]
You have a real problem with disruptive editing. I noticed that with every edit that you make you add random trivia that don't add any value to these articles. Hi - I see that you created a couple of new accounts (Retireduser305 and RetiredUser215). Since this account is not blocked, creating a new account is not itself a violation of policy, per WP:CLEANSTART; however, you went back to the same articles you had edited before, and started making similar kinds of edits, which invalidates the idea that these are cleanstart accounts. I've blocked those two accounts, but you are welcome to continue contributing under this account if you so wish, provided you follow the advice you have been given above about avoiding adding copyright violations.
