The essay attempts a critical understanding of the history and nature of the conflict. It evaluates the economic implications of this conflict to theatre and tourism. Lastly, it attempts a review of the role of the theatre in addressing this conflict and broadening opportunities for tourism, vis-à-vis revenue generation.
