What Urip74 (talk) 22:05, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You removed a note about accusations of human rights violations by the Israeli government, but not by Palestinian militants. This seemed like a violation of WP:NPOV. Note that you are prohibited from making edits related to the Arab-Israeli conflict until you have 500 edits and your account is 30 days old. (See Wikipedia:Contentious topics/Arab–Israeli conflict for more information.) Thanks Thriftycat TalkContribs 22:08, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First thing first, hamas,the islamic jihad and a lot more Palestinian groups are not militant, they are terrorists.
2nd,there is no evidence that Israeli forces using human shields. Evidences for hamas doing that there are infinite.
If you have evidence to Israeli forces using human shields, i would like to see that. Urip74 (talk) 22:13, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have not contributed to the article, but I do see that the section on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict cites sources to back it up. If you believe that the cited sources are not reliable, you can:
If you have further questions, you may want to ask at the Teahouse. There are lots of friendly editors there who are much more experienced than I am! Thriftycat TalkContribs 22:32, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand, why do you mind that I edited that article? If its against the rules wikipedia will send me a message. 🙂 Urip74 (talk) 22:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

December 2023[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Shaheed, you may be blocked from editing. You have already been warned twice that you should not be editing a contentious topic without 500 prior edits and an account age of at least 30 days. Arcendeight (talk) 22:20, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yo I'm just being realistic. Stop being such a hypocrite. Urip74 (talk) 22:25, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have been warned against editing contentious topics before reaching a certain number of edits and account age multiple times above. This is wikipedia policy. If you feel changes to these articles should be made, feel free to request an edit on their talk page. All the best, Arcendeight (talk) 22:27, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How i can request Urip74 (talk) 22:28, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Click the button that says "Talk" directly under the title of the article. After that, click the button on the upper right of your screen that says "Add topic"; this will allow you to make a request. Give the topic a title, describe the changes that you would like in the article, and then add the topic. Keep in mind, however, that you must provide reliable sources for any changes suggested and that they must be neutral, or they will be unlikely to be accepted. That Tired Tarantula (talk) 23:28, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Arcendeight, to be fair, this doesn't apply to all contentious topics, just those with "extended confirmed" in the list at WP:GS. Urip74, the Arab-Israeli conflict is such a topic, yes. Thriftycat, please use {{subst:alert/first|a-i}} unless the user had been informed before. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:57, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Now lets be real, whats wrong with what I wrote there? Urip74 (talk) 21:37, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You changed "fighter", a neutral term, to "terrorist", a term with more baggage than a Boeing 747. 🌺 Cremastra (talk) 21:44, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, in your opinion a person who breaks into your house and kill your whole family is a fighter or a terrorist? Urip74 (talk) 21:57, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have the patience for this kind of discussion. Just read WP:NPOV and stop POV-pushing. 🌺 Cremastra (talk) 22:24, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Broski you're embarrassing yourself Urip74 (talk) 22:25, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of the content of your edit, you're still not allowed to edit anything related to the Arab–Israeli conflict per WP:ECR. 🌺 Cremastra (talk) 22:29, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why? Cuz you're antisemic? Urip74 (talk) 22:30, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am an administrator. You will be blocked if you edit content related to the Arab-Israel conflict before reaching Extended confirmed status. Cullen328 (talk) 22:40, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah haha Urip74 (talk) 22:41, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You received the alert on January 2, 2024. Read it and comply, or you will be blocked. Cullen328 (talk) 22:43, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
