The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Information icon Hello, I'm Chariotrider555. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Abhira tribe seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Chariotrider555 (talk) 14:16, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Abhiras were kshtriyas as written in the vedas. Previously also they were written as kshtriyas on this page. This removal is biased and not neutral Vaibhav Krishna 001 (talk) 14:20, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Hello, I'm Chariotrider555. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Abhira tribe, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Chariotrider555 (talk) 15:23, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Hi. Please note the discretionary sanctions notification above. If you persist in adding unsourced information to articles, you will be sanctioned with either a topic ban or a block. --RegentsPark (comment) 17:34, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Abhira tribe, you may be blocked from editing. 17:49, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Abhira tribe, you may be blocked from editing. 17:49, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --HistoryofIran (talk) 17:50, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. It's clear that you're just here to promote an agenda. If this continues even one more time then your editing privileges will be revoked.SpacemanSpiff 17:53, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What agenda, if you k ow little about Indian Vedas and Epics like Mahabharata you would know that Ahirs or Yadavs were kshtriyas Vaibhav Krishna 001 (talk) 18:06, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  RegentsPark (comment) 18:40, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
