Thank you for your question regarding the Cesar River. The Cesar River as Rio Cesar is on Google Maps here. It is a tributary of the Rio Risopatrón in the Rio Palena drainage. I have corrected the article to conform with the Chilean governmental source. Hi, thanks for your message! The articles I created are to be expanded by other wikipedists I personally know. I just created them to help these people (some are new to Wikipedia), so my intentions are essentially good. I'm most active at the Spanish Wikipedia (auto confirmed user there). deletion notice
Hi. You informed me that that Pagida part is not having any encyclopedic tone. However, you know that your Aiud page is also redirected to Pagida. So, why is it like that. If the name is Aiud, why they redirect name Pagida in to it. There is a spider genus with the name Pagida (spider) and if someone typed the name Pagida to see spider, they will get nothing, UNLESS there is a disambiguation page to link and say that there are two pages with Pagida. Hello Xx236. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at Vaishnoraj Shivan. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. Hi. I just saw you tagging this article with questionable notability. The author of the page has removed the tag. However, I wanted to let you know that the movie does seem notable. My first instinct on reading the name was to nominate it for deletion. I mean, who would name a movie "toilet", right? :D Anyway, the actor starring in the movie seems like a bigshot in their industry, plus its not a hoax - there is a trailer for it on YouTube. - A HUGE backlog
We now have 816 New Page Reviewers!
Most of us requested the user right at PERM, expressing a wish to be able to do something about the huge backlog, but the chart on the right does not demonstrate any changes to the pre-user-right levels of October.
The backlog is still steadily growing at a rate of 150 a day or 4,650 a month. Only 20 reviews a day by each reviewer over the next few days would bring the backlog down to a managable level and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
It didn't work in time to relax for the Xmas/New Year holidays. Let's see if we can achieve our goal before Easter, otherwise by Thanksgiving it will be closer to 70,000.
- Second set of eyes
Remember that we are the only guardians of quality of new articles, we alone have to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged by non-Reviewer patrollers and that new authors are not being bitten.
- Abuse
This is even more important and extra vigilance is required considering Orangemoody, and
- this very recent case of paid advertising by a Reviewer resulting in a community ban.
- this case in January of paid advertising by a Reviewer, also resulting in a community ban.
- This Reviewer is indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry.
Coordinator election
Kudpung is stepping down after 6 years as unofficial coordinator of New Page Patrolling/Reviewing. There is enough work for two people and two coords are now required. Details are at NPR Coordinators; nominate someone or nominate yourself. Date for the actual suffrage will be published later.

Hi there. I recently came across a couple of Iranian museum articles. Namely: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Age_Museum, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muharram_Museum, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hariree_House, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haidarzadeh_House, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Measure_Museum. In these articles, the word Museum was lowercase (unlike the capitalised M in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Museum), also the House in Hariree and Haidarzadeh was lower case (unlike https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Hemingway_House). I am unsure how I can change the title of a wikipedia article, so I created a new article with the proper grammar and redirected the old ones to the new ones I created. The information is completely 100% copy pasted from the old articles. A problem I have now run into is that the original farsi articles are not linked. For example, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Iron_Age_museum&redirect=no has a farsi page, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Age_Museum does not. I hope that made sense. I am a new user trying to find my way with this mostly counter-intuitive world of Wikipedia. I say so because it took me an entire day to figure out who is writing to me and how to reply them back. (I am not even sure if this message is getting across the right way) You may find this silly but it is so, unfortunately. Please bear with me.
As a new user, I may have made a few mistakes in my efforts to figure out how can I prepare multiple articles in the sandbox without really getting them under scrutiny of ever-vigilant wiki-editors. But the fact of the matter remains that Mr. Avinash Das is a senior journalist from North of India and his debut feature film Anaarkali of Aarah is releasing on 24th March as mentioned in the article.
