Ultraman character draft[edit]

I think the draft you've written is great! There's enough sources and information (I have an Eiji Tsuburaya book that goes into detail about the production behind Ultraman 1966 that I can use to provide more information) to proceed with posting it. Howdy, Thanks for making the Ultraman (character) page. I'm happy to finally see Ultraman having more recognition on Wikipedia. By the way are you a big Ultraman fan, or just of Tokusatsu in general? Issue on Ultraman article[edit]

Hey there, I've noticed you've edited on the Ultraman page before. There is an issue on the talk page that requires your two cents on the matter. Long story short: I've uploaded images (an upgraded version of the show's title card from the Blu-ray) which met Wiki guidelines but another editor disagreed, undid my edits simply because I removed an image he uploaded, and he started an edit war. Your two cents would be greatly appreciated and it would bring a fresh perspective on the issue and contribute to what benefits the article. Cheers! I found that Power Rangers Characters articles page forgot mentioned about their arsenals such weapons and vehicles.

Alright, I know you can help me up and go easy on it. But the most problem is very hard to find source page. I will tried to fix my own draft page for Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered character pages but you help me fix my own pages. Oh, I almost forgot that Monsters and Aliens page for Ultra Series was deleted few years ago. How about you create a new pages such as Science Patrol (Ultraman) and Ultra Garrison (Ultraseven) characters ?

I forgot give to you this old website called Absolute Ultraman it was shut down in 2003. But last year I found it's still there and I thought it was gone. Here have a look.

Zords page is now deleted[edit]

@Plth41: Of course its deleted, because the page has no real source and/or details. This is the biggest risk when creating list pages, just like how the Ultra Kaiju list page got deleted before. For the time being, its best to note each of the individual ranger of their personal Zords. Also, if someone apologized to you, they would surely fix their mistake, but he's not. An IP address put in information claiming that S, the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Zero-One the Movie: Real×Time, is the real Soreo Hiden and that he left Hiden Intelligence after disagreeing with Korenosuke on the Zero-One character page. They didn't provide any sourcing, so I was tempted to delete it. However, I chose to hide it instead just in case it's real. Thoughts on how to proceed? My edit on Ultraman Z was NOT vandalism[edit]

My edit on Ultraman Z was definitely NOT VANDALISM! As you can see, I was fixing the "Cite error", and having been editing Wikipedia for over 14 years, I definitely do not vandalize articles, and I am taken aback by your claim. Your revert put the citation back to its incorrect form. The original citation was placed into the article on 9 December 2020, at this edit, and when you filled in the bare reference here, the "volume" was left in the title parameter, and it was not volume 167, but volume 169. I have fixed it again here, and hope that you will see why I fixed it, as the references should be translated into English, and the parameters should be filled out correctly. The error listing Yonjisshunen... came from the ISBN that is in the citation: here. What is listed at WorldCat is probably not the correct translation of: 40周年特大号!2大ヒーロー特写!「仮面ライダーゼロワン」「ウルトラマンZ」. In the future, I would recommend that when you have to revert an error, to please say "reverting good faith edit", preferably to "undo vandalism", as my intent was never to vandalize. Revice character page.[edit]

Just wanted to let you know that an admin (who I am purposefully not tagging for fear of them blocking us) decided to remove all of Revice's Rider forms on the grounds that it was all fancruft backed up by primary sources (i.e., the sources you provided and my episode refs). I'm not doing anything yet because I have real life concerns to worry about at the moment, but again, I just wanted to let you know and get your thoughts on this situation. Zero stylinx, it's all right. I know full well that you were only trying to help. If that terrible editor (something joestar I think) hadn't done what they did to the Revice character page, maybe the admin wouldn't have gotten involved. Or maybe the admin always intended to undo our hard work in spite of that editor. Who knows. In all honesty, I think you should keep doing what you're doing as much as possible despite what happened because no matter what we do, it ultimately doesn't matter anyway because there's always somebody who's going to disagree with what we do. Re: Donbrothers? (also, assistance requested)[edit]

Not to sound rude, but I thought you were done with Donbrothers. Also, I'm attempting to reorganize certain character lists to Main, Recurring, and Guest (and if necessary, Spin-off exclusive) sections (based on a Wikipedia rule that I can't remember the name of), but I need help. How do I determine who the main characters are in the Kamen Rider shows. With Super Sentai, it's pretty obvious who the main characters are, but with Kamen Rider, I'm not sure. The only thing I do know is that I cannot go off of the fan wikis, which pretty much treat all of the Kamen Riders as main characters regardless of how many appearances they had or whether they had any impact on the story. Blazewing16 I see that you noticed about my edit in Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z. You see, I was actually trying to replace the content with an old revision, but unfortunately I picked the Donbrothers by mistake. I was about to change it but my dad told me to go to bed. Anyway, in regards to the character list, I'm not really the best person you can ask advise for. This is because my experiences with making character pages are not that great, you can clearly see the lists periodically in Ultraman X, Ginga, Orb, Tiga, and so on. My editing style goes on prioritizing the main protagonists and antagonists, as in highlighting which characters are a) important to the plot and b) how much does the series focusing on them. I didn't actually know that a style guide of character list page do exist, because my style involves first header as the protagonist/main character, then the second header being sub-regular/supporting characters, third reserves to antagonist characters and finally the fourth being minor/unimportant characters. You can say that my style is a lot more unorthodox, since I'm still experimenting on what's acceptable and what isn't but at the same time trying to investigate whichever character has a lot of focus. For example here in List of Ultraman Z characters, you can see the GAFJ tab section that I only reserve single character headers to the ones that are largely influencing the story and appearing in more episodes, while minor characters are given bulleted lists.

PS: In Ultraman, you can actually see the gap between pre-2013 series character lists compared to the ones since Ultraman X. This is because ever since the New Generation shows (as people would like to call), Ultraman series starts to get clever by further expanding the characters to more than just supporting roles. That and the fact that some of them has users like Harimua stubbornly insisting that a two-episode character with high rank is still important despite his minimal appearance and involvement to the story.

Blazewing16 It wasn't really a nuisance. Up till now, my only real concern goes with being paranoid and have to put multiple sources to make sure that all my edits are credible. I do like the current Sentai/Rider character listing, but again, their only issues are users did not provide credible sources and the fact that they also made a listing of collectibles. At least one simple advise I can give you though; if you spot 2 or more character headers having nigh similar content, maybe you could compress them into a single header. Looking back, my younger self did a lot of stupid edits in Wikipedia (not vandalism), it's a miracle that I wasn't blocked in the first place. Zero stylinx (talk) 23:41, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
