Tag for "more opinions needed"?[edit]

I found a paragraph which presents only a single opinion on a somewhat controversial subject (in chess#Growth). Is there a tag to say, "This needs more sources to represent the diversity of opinions on this subject"? I found Template:One source, but that is not quite what I am looking for, because that only mentions the number of sources, not the number of opinions. (There is nothing wrong with only one source if the facts are not disputed). Adpete (talk) 01:03, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I think I found what I am looking for. I was looking under verifiability templates, but there is also a whole set of NPOV templates. Adpete (talk) 01:15, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Adpete In general I am reminded of this guideline WP:WEIGHT and the very specific example tag Template:Globalize. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 01:17, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I thought Template:POV section would be perfect until I saw the guideline "Do not use this template unless there is an ongoing dispute.". So I am unsure what to use after all. Adpete (talk) 01:20, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm only commenting so as to follow this interesting topic. I thought personal "opinions" were not allowed as content at WP? Maineartists (talk) 01:35, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is concerning the question of whether there has been "rating inflation" in chess; of whether a 2700 rating means the same strength in 2021 as it did in (say) 1980. I would say that expert opinions (often informed by facts) are allowable. Anyway, I have discovered that you can change the lead sentence in Template:One source, and I think that does what I want, so I have added it to chess#Growth. In the ancestry section, could the photo of the mansion be placed please on the right hand side please - we cannot do this. Thanks115.70.23.77 (talk) 03:47, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure you can! Just remove |left from the code for the image. (i.e. change [[File:Hawkhills, Gledhow - home of William Middleton.jpg|thumb|left|Middleton's great-great-grandfather... to [[File:Hawkhills, Gledhow - home of William Middleton.jpg|thumb|Middleton's great-great-grandfather...)
In your question, who is "we"? Hope this helps, and happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 04:01, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia page is not coming to the main page[edit]

Hello! I have created a page in wikipedia for a singer named Pooja Prem..It has been 2 months and still it is in draft... how can I get it to the main page? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Pooja_Prem — Preceding unsigned comment added by Premkumar.kochi (talkcontribs) 12:51, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Premkumar.kochi: We are not interested in a rerun of the Seigenthaler incident. Every claim about a living or recently-departed person that could potentially be challenged for any reason what-so-ever MUST be cited to a strong, in-depth source the subject or surrogates didn't write that corroborates it or (if no such sources can be found) removed wholesale. This is a hard requirement when writing about living or recently-departed people on Wikipedia and is NOT negotiable. Your sources are not properly cited. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 12:57, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This person is also not suitably notable for Wikipedia. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 14:38, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
