Want to edit and post our company information?

Hey, I just try to edit notes over this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bra_size

Can you please suggest me that how to do that. Also, want to know that how to list our company information over Wikipedia?

@Femposh: Hi there! Creating a new Wikipedia article can be challenging, especially when you have a conflict of interest (COI) such as wanting to write about your company. To learn how to edit, I suggest you start at Help:Introduction. I suggest spending a significant amount of time editing existing articles to hone your skills. When you're ready to create an article, you would gather multiple published independent reliable sources that have provided significant coverage of your company, and determine whether they demonstrate that you meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, called "notability". If so, you could create an account and declare your COI on your user page. Then follow the instructions at Help:Your first article, and be prepared for a process that may include months of waiting for review, rejections, and rewrites, before an article is created. If you are successful, then you could never edit the article directly due to your COI, but could submit edit requests on the article talk page. Hope this helps. You don't really list your company information on Wikipedia; if your company meets the notability guideline for companies, then it can have an article, but you would have very little say in what is included and what is not. WP:COMPORG may be worth reading as well.
As for the notes on Bra size, I'm going to assume you mean the notes section? That section is filled by the inline citations cited in the article. If you have a general reference that supports claims in the article, you might be able to add it to the references section below, but it'd be better to just directly cite the claim your reference backs up. Gabejrosales, the page WP:REFUND rather assumes that you want to improve an article (or other page) that you have created, or to which you have made a major contribution. But as "Gabejrosales", you've never written anything other than the sentence above. Was this perhaps an article about you? Joyce Green MacDonald

Does anyone know whether Professor Joyce Green MacDonald should be cited as "Green MacDonald, Joyce" or "MacDonald, Joyce Green"? Or can suggest a way I could look that up? AndyJones (talk) 08:36, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

create a new page

Hello, i made and account and want to create a new page/article . I clicked on 'edit' by mistake and now I can't see how to get back to the beginning. Please help. Thanks Sebastien Bechara (talk) 09:23, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First things first, many Wikipedia editors (including myself) would encourage you not to try to create an article as a newcomer – it is one of the hardest things you can do on Wikipedia, and if you don't have a grasp of the place, your article stands a decent chance of never making it to the main article space without being deleted. If you really want to give it a shot, read Help:Your first article, but I'd get used to editing articles in general first.. (Also, if you're here to write about a topic you have a conflict of interest with, there are additional rules and guidelines to follow; here's a guide for COI editing.)
As for your other question – if you click on "edit" and want to get back to reading an article, you can just remove the "?action=edit" or "&action=edit" and anything that follows it in the URL. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking about? ("how to get back to the beginning" is vague.) Skarmory (talk • contribs) 09:32, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I want to cite a book published before 1970

Just fill in the information that is available. Redirect

You can create Draft:Second Müller cabinet and publish it to Second Müller cabinet. As there are several edits at Second Müller cabinet, you can use Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. TSventon (talk) 14:29, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@DuncanHill@TSventon Sorry that I'm not very knowledgeable about redirects, but neither of your answers makes sense to me or seems to answer my question. I know how to create the page Second Müller cabinet, but after I do, won't any link to it be redirected to the Hermann Müller (politician) page instead of my new one? GHStPaulMN, If you create Draft:Second Müller cabinet and request a move to Second Müller cabinet, using Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests, then the redirect will be deleted by the page mover. TSventon (talk) 21:17, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recent changes filters

I do recent changes patrol and I typically set filters such as "likely have problems" and "likely bad faith", but sometimes one or both of these are missing entirely. For example, a moment ago, both those options were gone, but now they're both back. What causes this? I asked on the related talk page, but ironically nobody seems to be watching it. This is a long-term bug and I'm not really sure why it hasn't been fixed yet. It existed when I was vandalism patrolling back in 2022 and possibly even 2020-21, though I don't remember for that stage. I usually just wait until they come back. @Crainsaw: Yes, in rare circumstances. See WP:IAR, and CAREFULLY read all of the linked pages. However, do recognize that some policies have actual real-world legal implications and cannot be ignored. It's not me, another editor was in a discussion with me over the use of archaic terms, when I provided him with a policy which said we should use the matest English words unless in a quotation, he said consensus is against me. -Crainsaw (talk) 17:13, 18th June 2023 (UTC)

In the "Some works" paragraph of the István Ferenczy page, should the names of the paintings be written in italics, or not in this case? On the Miklós Izsó page, what are the wikilinks for "Classicism" and "academic"? In the "Selected paintings" paragraph of the Gyula Benczúr page, should the names of the paintings be written in italics, or not in this case? Should "self-portrait" be written in italics or not? For instance, on this page: Károly Ferenczy. Should the painting "Greek Woman", on the page Jakab Marastoni, be written in italics or not? I putted it in italics. Animated gifs

Hi, which particular help page would that be? An example is the second map in this article

@Werner Vogel: Hi there! When I try to view File:Roman Empire map.ogv, it opens in a new window. Within that window is a pause button I can use to study one frame before unpausing and letting the animation get to the next slide where I can pause again, and so on. File:Roman Empire map.ogv is a video. The animated gif in Roman Empire is File:Romempgif.gif. @Werner Vogel: MediaWiki does not have a feature to pause an animated gif and move it one frame at a time. The file is sent to your browser which controls the viewing. I don't know wether any common browsers have such a feature. You may have to install a browser extension or download the file and view it with other software. Twinkle Welcoming Prefs

Hello. I have been using twinkle to welcome new users who haven't already been welcomed, and I figured that if I changed my welcoming preferences using the twinkle preferences interface, it can and will go a lot faster. So I did it, by selecting "welcome automatically" and changing my template to use automatically to welcome-cookie, but it didn't work.
