Draft:Ajit Mohan
On behalf of Indian executive Ajit Mohan, I've submitted a draft article at AfC as part of my work at Beutler Ink. Given my conflict of interest (which I've also disclosed on the draft's Talk page), I will not publish the article to the main space and ask independent editors to review for accuracy, neutrality, and verifiability before going live. For this project, Mr. Mohan provided feedback to ensure accuracy of the entry, which is based on reputable secondary coverage. I am happy to address any questions or concerns that may arise during the review process. Might someone here be willing to take a look?
Thanks in advance for your consideration and help. Inkian Jason (talk) 15:20, 18 August 2022 (UTC)

The article Scott Schutzman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Only three of the six sources are reliable, and those that are only refer to the subject at "Scott Tiler", not the appellation where it currently sits. I've not found any further reliable sources to establish either notability nor the other claims in the article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 22:43, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Gregg Harris
I came across Gregg Harris after seeing this Help Desk question in which an IP claiming to be Harris is asking out to update his article. After looking at the article, I wondering whether the subject meets WP:BIO. Lots of unsourced content (including a "Harris family" section) that probably needs to go. There's a "Controversy" section that seems to be the only thing that citing a secondary source, but that might a bit UNDUE. After looking at the article's history, it appears that the subject of the article (or at least someone using a variation of his name) has actually edited over the years using various accounts. The article has tagged as needing additional citations since July 2008; so, perhaps the time has come to reassess it and see whether Harris even meets WP:GNG. Would some others mind taking a look at it and see if there's even enough for a reliably sourced stub. If you Google "Gregg Harris", you do get some hits, but not many of these appear to be to WP:RS. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:53, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

Biographies and New Page Patrol
I would strongly suggest that this WikiProject add an ongoing activity related to WP:NPP monitoring related to biographies. The trigger for my posting this is Jules Maxwell, which is in the NPP list and which I am not going to mark as reviewed ... it is a particularly poorly sourced living person article which NEEDS help. Other biography articles in NPP include:
- Vahid Mustafayev
- Jaime Malet
- Yoshihiko Futamura
- Isabella Sermon
- Jim Pollard (musician)
- Harris Mowbray
- Jorge Clemente (actor)
- Cody Morris
and many more

The article Wes Nolden has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
In its 13.86 years on the site, this article has had—at best— two reliable sources previously, and those were oft subject to blanking by SPAs. With this re-write, only thee sources presented themselves, and the weightiest one is dubious. This has failed the notability guideline for longer than some productive editors have been alive, and even now doesn't meet muster.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Hello WikiProject Biography, last month I posted a request on the article for former U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, proposing to add some relevant information to the Early career section. I have a COI with Mr. Rubin as a subject, and as such will not make any direct edits myself. I have previously worked with a couple of other editors and have had a good working relationship with them, but out of respect for the time they've already put into the article, I thought I would reach out here for some additional perspective and to not unduly burden them. If someone here would be willing to review the suggested changes, I’d be grateful. Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 12:28, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

At Wikipedia:Peer review/William McAndrew/archive1 I have an open peer review on the article William McAndrew, which I am hoping to elevate to a featured article. If you'd have any input to help me enhance the article, it would be appreciated.
McAndrew was an educator who served most prominently as superintendent of the Chicago Public School system.
His ouster from the Chicago Public Schools is the most interesting aspect of his bio, and is covered in more extensive detail at Administrative hearing of William McAndrew. It is a truly bizarre circumstance involving a mayor levying accusations of disloyalty to America, making cartoonish accusations of McAndrew being an agent of the British crown sent to indoctrinate children and set the stage for a recapture of America by the United Kingdom. Stanisław Prauss linked with wrong language wikis
I was combing through the 1997 deaths category and came across Stanisław Prauss. Given he's listed in the 1997 deaths category, I was confused to see the page detail a death year of 1967. This appears to be supported by the Olympedia source on his page. So I then went to the different wiki sites Prauss is linked to (Italian, Malagasy, Egyptian Arabic, Polish, Russian) and saw they not only had Prauss listed at 1997, but the date of birth and death are entirely different from one another. With the English Wiki/Olympedia, its 3 April 1902 – 23 April 1967 whereas on the other wikis its 28 November 1903 – 12 November 1997. Turns out the English wiki page about a painter is linked elsewhere to an aircraft engineer with the same name. Rusted AutoParts 19:22, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

Requesting feedback on mass change to '(nationality) expatriates in (country)' categories.
Hi All, I think there are a lot of people with '{nationality} expatriates in {country}' categorisation who shouldn't have it, as it's not a defining characteristic per WP:NONDEF
As an example, I've seen quite a lot of members in the Category:American expatriates in the United Kingdom on the basis that they have worked or studied in the UK at some point in their lives. Largely they have completed most of their education in the US, taken one course (masters or PHD) at a UK university, then returned to the US for the rest of their careers and lives. OR been sent to the UK on some official position (Ambassadorship for instance).
In my view, this does not qualify someone as an 'expatriate', as it doesn't constitute a 'significant period of time' living in the host nation. A good example of this type is the very first entrant at the moment, Peter Achinstein, who 'Spent a year at Oxford' as a student in 1959. I think in almost all cases a single term or single course doesn't make someone an 'expatriate' if they returned to their home country immediately on completion on their course/assignment (unless theres something in the article that makes it more relevant). But before I go through removing a few dozen entries from this and other categories; I thought I'd see if there was a consensus for a bulk change of this type? The article Tony Bland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No reason for Tony Bland to have his own article if Andrew Devine also doesn't have one. For the record, I asked for a reason at both this article's talk page and the WikiProject Biography talk page and was met with radio silence.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 100.7.44.80 (talk) 13:01, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Carla Vernón is my sister. She is the incoming Afro-Latina CEO of The Honest Company, with a start date of January 9 2023. I am trying to get someone else to create the article to avoid the strongly discouraged WP:COI editorial involvement. I am hoping someone will create the article soon so it can appear at WP:DYK on January 9. Re: John Serry Sr. - questionable editing and deletions of the article's text on this biography require a review by a more experienced editor in the project to remove warning templates at the top of the page.
Ciao members of the Biography Project. Perhaps when time permits a more seasoned and experienced editor of biographies could review 1) the multiple deletions of text and 2)the questionable doubts raised regarding the relevance of sourcing documentation provided in the article John Serry Sr -- both of which have been executed and posted by a single user (User:Eddiehugh). A review of the persistent dismissal of multiple established reference source citations provided in the article and the removal of text and references to published compositions from the article without first posting templates calling for additional citations to be provided within the body of the article (which would enable other editors to review these requests prior to initiating these deletions) unilaterally suggests that he lacks the experience required to undertake a comprehensive reorganization of this mature article. Kindly note that the article dates back to 2005 and has been reviewed by several editorial teams within the Classical Music Project, the Jazz music Project, the Biography Project, the Latin Music Project, the Composers Project and the New York City Project. Members of each of these projects have graded the article at a level of either C or B and have not raised serious questions regarding the reference sources utilized within the article or the specific narrative of the article as a whole. In addition, the article has been translated into several languages including French, German, Spanish German and Italian and has not been cited in any of these countries for questionable sourcing or improper text. These observations suggest that User:EddieHugh might benefit from additional guidance related to the proper collaborative editorial procedure which is the hallmark on Wikipedia and that the warning templates posted at the top of the page can by removed upon completion of a review. Thanks again for your assistance.160.72.81.182 (talk) 17:38, 16 December 2022 (UTC)MPL

Bio update
Folks, Craig Newmark here. Sorry to bug you, but I'm trying really hard to do this right... I've requested a couple of changes to my biography. Primarily, I'd like to update information about where I live, as I now reside in New York City full time. I've also included some more recent philanthropy updates, in case those are useful. I'm looking for an editor to review and implement the changes if they agree, and do not edit the article myself because I am the subject. Much thanks, Cnewmark (talk) 16:38, 27 December 2022 (UTC)

The article Oleg Skorlukov has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- This BLP was created 17 years ago and has never had any sources, other than the 404 link that I removed in the previous edit. A DuckDuckGo search using both the article title and the full name return nothing other than copies of this Wikipedia page
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. 76.14.122.5 (talk) 05:02, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Possible proposed deletion of article about evangelical christian family in Ireland
I have a concern about an article created in August 2022 about a evangelical Christian family in Ireland that i believe (from what i read of it) was created to doxx and intimidate members of the family due to their religious views and which its creation date coincided with the beginning date of a court case that is still curently ongoing. The article in question is Burke family (Castlebar) . I believe, but I am not too sure, that the article violates a number of wiki policies but particularly Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons in the sections of WP:BLPGOSSIP , WP:AVOIDVICTIM , WP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE , WP:BLP1E , and WP:BLPNAME (for some of the family named in the article). I believe this article is suitable for deletion according to Wikipedia:Proposed deletion of biographies of living people but I am not sure how to go about this. I would be grateful if someone can review the article and also review its talk page where a dispute arose about the inclusion of a source from a newspaper article that has since been retracted and removed from the internet by the media agency but which an archival copy appears from internet archive. I guess one of the other things I am concerned and believe this article is designed to intimidate and therefore violating wiki policies is that it names all the family members, even those that have have not been involved in actions listed in media reports. I don't see any justification for this. Surely if the article is about various protests and various civil court proceedings by various members of the family, then why involve and list family members that have not been involved. Surely the article should just list those that their sources list and make reference to the actions as listed in their said sources. All the same I would be grateful for someone to review this article to see if any wiki policies are been violated 79.154.24.42 (talk) 13:42, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Actually I can see issues with it, it seems to be written in a rather informal manner, with indications that there may be a wp:coi. Far (however) from being a hit pice it reads to me a bit puffy. Slatersteven (talk) 13:49, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- But I am unsure (given how the family seems to have actively sought litigation (and thus publicity)) that WP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE applies. Nor (as we appear to be talking about reports of court cases or other litigious action) gossip applies. Nor does the family seem to be notable (Paginas we go back to the litigious activity) notable for only one event. Nor do they seem to have made any effort to conceal who they are, they are clearly being reported about by name (in reports about cases they have launched). So all we are left with is the tone. Slatersteven (talk) 13:59, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- However I have AFD'd it as I can see issues with tone, and this may in fact have no lasting notability. Slatersteven (talk) 14:07, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there, as the creator and primary contributor to the article, I thought I'd give my two cents here. I don't believe I have violated any of the aforementioned policies, and will address each one here, though I find myself in agreement with @Slatersteven that these don't apply.
- Wikipedia:BLPGOSSIP: This first asks to check if sources are reliable. The vast majority of sources cited re the Burkes are mainstream national newspapers with good reputations for journalistic integrity, such as The Irish Times, the Irish Examiner, and the Irish Independent. Secondly, is the material being presented as true? Yes it is. I believe that the information listed is relevant to an article about the family, and the cited sources do no use weasel words or attribute things to anonymous sources: if you have a specific complaint about a source, I will happily remove it, and if the information can not be found in another, remove that too. Finally, the vast majority of the cited articles were written long before the Wikipedia page was created, so a feedback loop is essentially a non starter as an issue.
- Wikipedia:AVOIDVICTIM: This family are not primarily known for being victimized by others. This does not apply. That said, I think you will find the article is much more pared back and less revealing than either of these two articles, published in mainstream news media.
- Wikipedia:PUBLICFIGURE: The crux of this policy is to only include material related to the notability of the subjects of an article. I believe there is nothing extraneous in the existing article on the family, as everything mentioned can be found to have been commented on in the mainstream news.
- Wikipedia:BLP1E: If, for example, I had started an article on Simeon Burke, I would agree with you. Alone, most of these family members would be undeserving of their own article, with the likely exception of Enoch. As a family however, their repeated high-profile cases has generated cumulative notability around them.
- Wikipedia:BLPNAME: I concede that there is one member of the Burke family who is not notable, Keren. This policy, however, largely concerns people who's name have been concealed or not widely circulated. It is present in this article, which again is from a major Irish newspaper. Again, were this about one family member, I believe it may be remiss to include a list of all the others. But in an article about the family, is she not a member of the family? I feel like it would be odd to exclude her. Also the family has been remarked upon several times as protesting together, with no indication that Keren does not take part in these protests. On this last policy, my mind could be changed.
- So that's my two-cents worth. I'll be honest, I don't know what problems with tone exist in the article, nor do I understand how the family could be considered non-notable. But please, contribute to the AFD if you have something to say. Xx78900 (talk) 15:50, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi IP. Please advise how anyone is being "doxed"? Everything about the family that is in the article can be found in the cited reliable media sources. You are also mis-stating facts. The Irish Independent did not "retract" anything - and as stated on the talk page, the fact of the publication of the Independent's allegation can still be covered by our article, and the Independent's article is still available via the Internet Archive. The removal of the article has been further covered in the Irish Times, as noted on the article's talk page. No Wikipedia policies are being violated. And Wikipedia is not censored. Lastly, please don't WP:FORUMSHOP! BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 18:21, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Unreviewed Featured articles year-end summary
Unreviewed featured articles/2020 (URFA/2020) is a systematic approach to reviewing older Featured articles (FAs) to ensure they still meet the FA standards. A January 2022 Signpost article called "Forgotten Featured" explored the effort.
Progress is recorded at the monthly stats page. Through 2022, with 4,526 very old (from the 2004–2009 period) and old (2010–2015) FAs initially needing review:
- 357 FAs were delisted at Featured article review (FAR).
- 222 FAs were kept at FAR or deemed "satisfactory" by three URFA reviewers, with hundreds more being marked as "satisfactory", but awaiting three reviews.
- FAs needing review were reduced from 77% of total FAs at the end of 2020 to 64% at the end of 2022.
Of the FAs kept, deemed satisfactory by three reviewers, or delisted, about 60% had prior review between 2004 and 2007; another 20% dated to the period from 2008–2009; and another 20% to 2010–2015. Roughly two-thirds of the old FAs reviewed have retained FA status or been marked "satisfactory", while two-thirds of the very old FAs have been defeatured.
Entering its third year, URFA is working to help maintain FA standards; FAs are being restored not only via FAR, but also via improvements initiated after articles are reviewed and talk pages are noticed. Since the Featured Article Save Award (FASA) was added to the FAR process a year ago, 38 FAs were restored to FA status by editors other than the original FAC nominator. Ten FAs restored to status have been listed at WP:MILLION, recognizing articles with annual readership over a million pageviews, and many have been rerun as Today's featured article, helping increase mainpage diversity.
|
All received a Million Award
|
But there remain almost 4,000 old and very old FAs to be reviewed. Some topic areas and WikiProjects have been more proactive than others in restoring or maintaining their old FAs. As seen in the chart below, the following have very high ratios of FAs kept to those delisted (ordered from highest ratio):
- Biology
- Physics and astronomy
- Warfare
- Video gaming
and others have a good ratio of kept to delisted FAs:
- Literature and theatre
- Engineering and technology
- Religion, mysticism and mythology
- Media
- Geology and geophysics
... so kudos to those editors who pitched in to help maintain older FAs !

Noting some minor differences in tallies:
|
But looking only at the oldest FAs (from the 2004–2007 period), there are 12 content areas with more than 20 FAs still needing review: Biology, Music, Royalty and nobility, Media, Sport and recreation, History, Warfare, Meteorology, Physics and astronomy, Literature and theatre, Video gaming, and Geography and places. In the coming weeks, URFA/2020 editors will be posting lists to individual WikiProjects with the goal of getting these oldest-of-the-old FAs reviewed during 2023.
Ideas for how you can help are listed below and at the Signpost article.
- Review a 2004 to 2007 FA. With three "Satisfactory" marks, article can be moved to the FAR not needed section.
- Review "your" articles: Did you nominate a featured article between 2004 and 2015 that you have continuously maintained? Check these articles, update as needed, and mark them as 'Satisfactory' at URFA/2020. A continuously maintained FA is a good predictor that standards are still met, and with two more "Satisfactory" marks, "your" articles can be listed as "FAR not needed". If they no longer meet the FA standards, please begin the FAR process by posting your concerns on the article's talk page.
- Review articles that already have one "Satisfactory" mark: more FAs can be indicated as "FAR not needed" if other reviewers will have a look at those already indicated as maintained by the original nominator. If you find issues, you can enter them at the talk page.
- Fix an existing featured article: Choose an article at URFA/2020 or FAR and bring it back to FA standards. Enlist the help of the original nominator, frequent FA reviewers, WikiProjects listed on the talk page, or editors that have written similar topics. When the article returns to FA standards, please mark it as 'Satisfactory' at URFA/2020 or note your progress in the article's FAR.
- Review and nominate an article to FAR that has been 'noticed' of a FAR needed but issues raised on talk have not been addressed. Sometimes nominating at FAR draws additional editors to help improve the article that would otherwise not look at it.
More regular URFA and FAR reviewers will help assure that FAs continue to represent examples of Wikipedia's best work. If you have any questions or feedback, please visit Wikipedia talk:Unreviewed featured articles/2020/4Q2022.
FAs last reviewed from 2004 to 2007 of interest to this WikiProject
If you review an article on this list, please add commentary at the article talk page, with a section heading == [[URFA/2020]] review== and also add either Notes or Noticed to WP:URFA/2020A, per the instructions at WP:URFA/2020. Comments added here may be swept up in archives and lost, and more editors will see comments on article talk.
There are so many bios in different categories that it's difficult to separate for a list here. Below is a sample only from the Media category. Please review Wikipedia:URFA/2020/2004 to 2007 working list for 2023 for others. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:38, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Request for help at/about List of folk heroes
Hello! I recently came across List of folk heroes, which had been trashed by a user who removed all references, categories, internal formatting, etc. and replaced it with an indiscriminate and unsourced list of random historical figures, Marvel characters, and entirely made up hoax characters. I reverted it to the last stable version with references, only to find that this version is still sorely lacking in referencing and contains many kings and such.
I'm here at this WikiProject because I have no idea how to tell if these people are folk heroes or not unless their article literally says "folk hero" in it. While the article itself isn't part of the project, every article in the list is. Does anyone have any advice on how to differentiate the biographies into ones that fit and ones that don't?
Its linked WikiProjects are WikiProject Folklore, which is inactive, and WikiProject lists, which has a rather inactive talk page. If this isn't the right WikiProject, please let me know where I should go. So far I've posted this in WikiProject History and WikiProject Religion. Thank you! Request for comment on inclusion in 'Expatriate' categories.
Should people be included in the categories of the form '[Nationality] expatriates in [country]' (e.g. Category:American expatriates in England) for a single period of study, or a posting to that country? (Absent any reliable sources calling them an 'expatriate'.)
Many entrants to these categories are there because they studied in the other country, or had a single term in some position in that country and then returned home.
(RFC as the section above got no response, and there might be a lot to remove I don't want to start if it's going to be disruptive) JeffUK 02:24, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- It depends on significance. If a person did something notable as an expat of a certain nation, I see no reason to justify exclusion of the category. However, if it's something along the lines of "Vlady Rusky studied at the University of Pittsburgh for one year and transferred to Moscow State later" without being known as a university alum, or if the university doesn't brag about a person being an alumni (like how Fordham University students brag about Denzel Washington being an alum), then I don't think it's necessary. In that circumstance It doesn't harm the article, but it's too trivial to justify usage, and NOHARM isn't even a good argument anyways. InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 05:04, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- I think someone's been through and added many in exactly that format; it seems the current lower standard is 'Mentions the other country somewhere in the article, maybe.' I'm not so worried about the harm to the individual articles, but the categories are useless as categories if they're indiscriminate lists of people who have ever lived, worked, or studied in another country for any amount of time. You have to scour some articles for a passing mention of the UK e.g. with Diplo . JeffUK 19:50, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- I say yes, as long as we see the need for those categories. However, I'm not entirely sure those categories are that significant. Ortizesp (talk) 19:48, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- Honestly this whole hierarchy of categories seems dubious to me, but if we’re going to have them, I would say there should be a notable association between subject and country before adding to the category. Simply having lived, studied or worked in a country for a short period of time isn’t enough IMHO. We should require something akin to permanent residency. I’m not saying that this particular legal status should be required, but that’s an example of what I think would meet the standard for inclusion in one of these categories. Non-contemporary illustrations of historical persons
The editor @Ealdgyth believes that it is better to have no image than a non-contemporary image. To me this seems contrary to research that shows that images are a great tool for creating engagement in readers and for readers to remember information they have taken in from the text (this seems to especially be the case for people who have trouble with reading).[1],[2],[3] Even if an illustration, sculpture or other of a person is non-contemporary I think it should be standard to include it if there is no contemporary depiction avalable. ★Trekker (talk) 16:11, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- I would say a lot depends on the image. Slatersteven (talk) 16:14, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- What type of images do you think would be bad to use?★Trekker (talk) 11:40, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Listing Americans by ethnicity and occupation
Several more intersection categories of American people are probably going to be deleted at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2022_December_19#American_people_of_European_descent_by_occupation. Please feel free to make lists where useful, or request a list from a particular category at the end of that CFD discussion if you would like me to do so. – Fayenatic London 13:15, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
Name change help
Hi all! I'm editing Kevin Laland's page as he recently changed his name to Kevin Lala to honor his ethnic background and family history. Would greatly appreciate help figuring out whether and how to change the title of the page. Note that Kevin changed his name back to his birth name. FlybellFly (talk) 13:35, 2 February 2023 (UTC)

Project-independent quality assessments
See Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)#Project-independent quality assessments. This proposes support for quality assessment at the article level, recorded in {{WikiProject banner shell}}, and inherited by the wikiproject banners. However, wikiprojects that prefer to use custom approaches to quality assessment can continue to do so. Aymatth2 (talk) 20:29, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Cherry Valentine's death
Multiple times now, the Cherry Valentine article has been updated to mention suicide. I'm not doubting the claim, but I don't believe Metro or The Sun are reliable sources. Can editors please discuss appropriate sources and updates re: the subject's death at Talk:Cherry_Valentine#Result_of_Death.? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:17, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
Hello, this is a heads up that a bio of professor/scientist Sheila Singh has been proposed for deletion. The subject isn't any more or less notable than tens of thousands of university faculty (WP:PROF) and the page is based entirely on the subject's outdated personal website (WP:RS/SPS). I'm seeing more and more low quality, low importance bio pages appearing as classroom project/exercises and this is one of them. It's nothing personal, in fact, my wife who is a university professor recently discovered a WP page had been authored about her, also by a class project. As wonderful as I think she is, IMO a WP bio for her is not really justified or notable enough, however, in her case the page was authored with sufficient external references that it technically meets WP:Academic and WP:RS criteria -- unlike the page proposed for deletion. Looking for collaboration in article "David Gonzalez"
Hi, I wrote this article by a multi-faceted New York artist that is now in draft format: Draft:David Gonzalez (multi-disciplinary artist). The article is part of Wikiproject arts, WikiProject Children's literature, and WikiProject Biographies.
I respectfully ask if anyone can help me in making the wording neutral. The most important reference is an article from the NYT. https://www.nytimes.com/1999/02/12/movies/orpheus-as-a-charmer-with-a-sax.html can also be viewed here: Thank you very much Miskito89 (talk) 15:41, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
