Pronunciation[edit]

I'd like for some danish native to pronounce "smørrebrød" or give some phonetic description of how you pronounce it. -- Henriok (talk) 19:02, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Culinary differences between Denmark & Norway[edit]

These Norwegian edit to take credit for unique Danish culture is very predictable, factually invalid, obnoxious and not to forget lazy. Yes, there is a difference between the Norwegian __smørbrød__ and the Danish _Smørrebrød_ - I get why some would be lazy and uninformed to merger the two articles but they are in fact different. I'm obviously not saying the very concept of open-faced sandwiches with various toppings are uniquely Danish, but I'm saying that the Danish culinary art of making __Smørrebrød__ is not the same as the Norwegian equivalent except maybe for a few recipes. We have lots and lots of articles that are about dishes served in numerous countries, rather than, for every dish, having one article per country and no common article. We have a Pizza article, a Baklava article, and an Arepa article. Why should this be different? Largoplazo (talk) 13:31, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

The images used in this article don't represent the way most people eat smørrebrød... seriously, breaded fish topped with lemons and caviar? 2001:4640:F777:0:D5DF:D3E7:D537:9E16 (talk) 16:18, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
