CM Punk and Kevin Thorn on the "Announced Roster" List

You should remove CM Punk and Kevin Thorn from the announced roster. The source is not viable, as G4's "The Feed" did not see these characters in the game, and were only guessing. Clicking on the source and reading the context reveals that "The Feed" only briefly mentions that they are currently employed by WWE, but are in no way confirmed, whatsoever. Sorry for butting in again, but it's already clear that the statements made only alluded that the two in question merely work for the WWE and were taking their best guess at a roster than even they aren't made aware of. So, why are Punk and Thorn STILL being listed with this ridiculous stretch from an unrelated comment from a source that wasn't even sure, itself on the roster? I guess, what i'm asking is why has nothing been done this whole time, since I first mentioned this in the above paragraph? About the name of the game...

Agreed on the steel cage match. However, interviews have stated that ECW will have 'a major presence', including ECW arenas. Therefore, the SciFi broadcast is a definite. Well, it depends who put it there. It could have been an IP just vandalizing the article. If it was cited, that's a different story (maybe things changed at the last minute/day). But, all the names that are on the announced roster section are currently employed by WWE, except Chris Benoit (for obvious reasons. So the roster isn't completely inaccurate. Should names that haven't been 'confirmed' by THQ be removed?

The way I see it: All entries have been confirmed by THQ, confirmed by the wrestlers themselves, have not denied within interviews, and/or mentioned in reputable websites; therefore all names as of now are to stay; although all names aren't of 'confirmed status' all have been mentioned by REPUTABLE sources (see warning on top). All announced content mentioned in my revert (04:47, July 9, 2007) are to stay, unless proven otherwise. This is why the sections read announced instead of confirmed. If someone would like to make a marking to distinguish the difference between 'announced' and 'confirmed by THQ', feel free to do so, but do not remove the names, as I have clearly explained why they are to stay. Sounds un-realistic. I mean, create a taunt and fighting stance was removed because it was un important and buggy. Why would they add another thing like that? Ill beleive it when it gets confirmed.

I haven't played '07, but it's possible that THQ made a patch with that hair. Or, they could have just built the character model from scratch (outside of the game, using the computers that were used to make the game) and just write some new code. Some people have claimed to have gotten an e-mail from THQ, in which they announced that the roster cut-off date was One Night Stand. And also that the subtitle for the game is "ECW Invades." The cut-off date has been at Vengeance since 2006. The last arena that has been up to date since then has been Vengeance. The Great American Bash arena has always been from the year before, so we won't be getting the 2007 GAB arena until SvR 2009.-- bulletproof ^3:16 06:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Kat DeLuna on the soundtrack?

It says on her wikipedia page that her song "Whine Up" will be featured in the game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kat_Deluna

And also, on the Kat DeLuna page, there is no source for that info.

That was most likely done by a sock puppet who is indefinitely banned for having at least a dozen different user names and adding nonsense. The user usually likes to add garbage information regarding WWE and Bratz to articles of each other (i.e. Bratz info added to WWE pages and vice versa). New logo

Its not part of the logo at all though. Its just a promo image announcing that ECW will be featured in the game. The games official site still even calls it WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. See the Features section on the site. It says...

Didn't Yuke's drop the "Exciting Pro Wrestling" name from the Japanese releases of the SmackDown games? Upon further inspection, it appears that the "Exciting Pro Wrestling" name was used up until the second SmackDown vs. Raw game was released. I don't think being released from WWE determines whether or not you get in a game. People get released every year and taking them out would just cause more problems within the game. The only exceptions would be a situation like Benoit's.. 76.21.249.103 22:17, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
