Tag removal on Lori Greiner

I am a paid editor who was working on the page of Lori Greiner. I have made my paid disclosure on the talk page of the article and would need your help in eliminating the tags from the page. I studied the talk page and noted that all paid editors have declared their paid status.   • @Philpallen: Thank you for disclosing your paid editing status on the article talk page, but that's not enough. Editors with paid editing contributions are required as per paid-contribution disclosure policy to disclose links to any off-wiki accounts they are using to obtain business. So, can you take some time to fully comply with the WP:PAID policy by disclosing link(s) to all active accounts or websites where you advertise paid Wikipedia-editing services?   • @GSS: My website is http://philpallen.co/services, but Wikipedia editing is not a service I advertise or do on a regular basis. I was paid by Lori Greiner, who has been a client of mine for the past several years for projects related to her social media and webpage content. During these years, I discovered misinformation on her Wikipedia page. She had no idea how to correct it, and it was urgent, I proceeded to make edits for her to correct details and add context. I've only attempted to correct minor issues. These edits have mostly been rejected due to my association. Since the page was originally flagged, I have seen it be diminished to a fraction of the information that was there, but still, it is flagged. Please guide me on the way forward. Thanks! Regarding Conflict of Interest

Hi,

you wrote me regarding a supposed conflict of interest on a page I recently uploaded. I recently became aware of and enjoyed this artist's music, and saw that they had no page. I created what I thought was a well-sourced page with a NPOV. I emailed their site requesting a photo that could be used, and received the one that I put on the page. Make a good faith effort to reword instead of reverting in Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale

Hey GSS, you have a tendency to revert changes from contributors in the article Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. When possible (and I understand this is not always possible), can you instead make specific edits to address your concerns? I'm referring to the recommendations in WP:ONLYREVERT and the Wikipedia policy under WP:QUO: If you see a good-faith edit which you feel does not improve the article, make a good-faith effort to reword instead of reverting it. It's more work, but creates a friendly atmosphere where people feel like they are working together, rather than against one another.

Again, I'm not suggesting you should keep changes that you find controversial. I am talking about uncontroversial changes that improve the article as a whole. As an example, look at the grammatical mistakes you added to the "In popular culture" section here [1] with your revert just today. If you continue to request a CSD, you ought to consider that the admin who will process the request is going to note of your edit-warring. One of the editors put "paid contributions" tags for the notable Russian band, oppositional to the Russian government known very well in Russia and internationally). The band doesn't need any contributors and was edited by tens of volunteers, yet someone put a tag without any substantial proof. I'd like to ask Wikipedia community of volunteers to double check the page and find if it actually needs any "clean-up". I believe that your accusations are groundless and most probably based on speculation than on any substantial proof. The IC3PEAK page was edited by more than 30 editors and this proves its notability (together with the lots of citation). Cool Suresh

He has notable roles in several films including Kaakha Kaakha, Aaytha Ezhuthu, Pachaikili Muthucharam and Padikkadavan. Although his films list may not be explicitly stated in a source, he reveals films that he has acted with in his interviews. On google under the videos sections, there are several videos.[1] He has sources under Deccan Chronicle.[2] He has worked on several more (hundreds) of films in Tamil. I was wanting to know why my page was not allowed. In an email you accuse me of having a "conflict on interest" which is not true, and then when I log into my account I have a message being accused of "being paid" which I am not. After coming here and seeing others having almost the same issue, now I am wondering if there is some censorship going on here? has the creator of wikipedia every been investigated by a journalist or media outlet? I am not getting a good vibe from the way articles are being handled, particularly unproven allegations being made against contributors. Hi GSS, i'm not being paid for creating this page. However, I will outline the circumstances that brought be to create the wikipedia page for Gohar Vardanyan. I was asked by a friend, who is now retired and turned his longtime interest in classical guitar to a full time passion, if there was a reason why Gohar didn't have a wikipedia, as he believed she was deserving. I subsequently looked into the precedent set by existing wikipedia articles about her peers; and concluded that she is. So I created the page. Please review the article thoroughly and the references to verify that it is balanced, objective and properly sourced. If you have any issues, please let me know. I have, in the past had an indirect financial connection and declared that connection, even though it was loose.

Hello, GSS! There were two tags put on the page for new social media influencer Hejar Abdi. 1. It was marked as promotional, however, it wasn't intended to promote, but to highlight information about him. 2. It was suspected to be a paid job, however, it wasn't so, I just was searching information about him, and found out that there is no page on Wikipedia when there is a whole section about social media influencers. The article exists on the Italian Wikipedia since 2006 so, I'm not sure about the notability, to be honest, but maybe DGG can determine who appear to have good knowledge in this area as per this. El C - it was noindexed - I was in the process of expansion and using it live for my NPP student. This has all gone to hell in a handbasket for no good reason. It was doing no harm where it was, and this disruption was unneccessary. There are plenty of drafts and articles these two reviewers could have focused besides the one I was working on. I'm not just a longtime NPP reviewer, I took the student for a reason and I should not have to explain my every move. No harm - no foul but they wouldn't drop the stick. I truly doubt the current version complies with the policies mentioned. The references also have broken links and includes self-published sources. Why am I not entitled to improve this page? I know it's annoying, but even though there was sockpuppetry, unsourced content, and possible COI involved in this case, these do not necessarily exempt your reverts from the edit warring policy. To avoid potential problems in the future, it may be better to leave the article in an unreverted state for the time being while your SPI report is being assessed, especially when the offending content here seems to just be a list of films. Route Mobile Limited

I just saw that you moved Route Mobile Limited to draftspace stating ACPERM gaming. I also noticed that this page was repeatedly edited by some IP users. I don't know who they were, what could be their intentions and what info they added that led the page to be removed from mainspace. I had created a neat article and it was there in mainspace for several days and everything seemed fine until edited by IPs. I think whatever they added were removed and it looks ready for mainspace. Gunaalp bey, You were very lucky. I would have sent it for speedy deletion as a blatant advert. The sources are atrocious and I have left a comment on the draft to that effect

Thanks for guidelines. I read through the WP:COI and would like to disclose that I have a conflict of interest with the foundation as an employee. I would mention it on my talk page as well as stated at WP:COI. Regarding my edits, I had tried to write from a neutral point of view and my edits were backed by references. About a month ago, I edited Draft:Rice Powell (businessperson) where I removed a bunch of unsourced information. I just returned to the page now and see that it's been tagged as UPE and the creating editor has been blocked. What will happen to all of the other pages he created? I don't think my employment situation is relevant here, but I am fine with letting you know that I am a self-employed software engineer in fintech industry. My customers include banks and fintech companies in the EU. You can easily verify from my contribution history that I have not created or edited any article in this area.

The accusation in relation to this specific article is a joke, as we are talking about a FOSS software that is being developed by unpaid developers in their spare time. There is no money involved, so there is no room for any undisclosed payments. Please do your homework before doing such bold claims.
