Hey, User:GSS what is your problem I said this article was previously went through AFC check the history if you cant see ask an admin. you are behaving like this is personal or something. You can't just recreate the same article under different titles over and over again to make your client happy. I saw your comment that my edit of page "Inder Chahal" seems to be the paid activity that's why you moved to draft page. Let me confirm that it's not the case. As being a music lover, I recently discovered this artist on spotify through his latest release Maapea Di Dhee song (https://open.spotify.com/artist/2ZzyxohC32i649slMn9Kgk). As I am a guitarist myself, I like to discover the artists and follow them. That's how I ended up searching about him and when I found no Wikipedia page for him despite being a noteworthy singer, that's what became the motive for me to create his wikipedia page. And it's not about just this artist, next I was going to make changes on the pages of my other two favourites "Susmit Sen" & "Rochak Kohli" with relevant sources, but I stopped after reading your comment. ok, but I am confused according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Resources Variety, indiewire, and the hollywood reporter are, plus I complement the article with references from Rochester, International Documentary Association and some profiles from his artist fellowships. New Page Review newsletter November 2019

Hello GSS,

This newsletter comes a little earlier than usual because the backlog is rising again and the holidays are coming very soon.

Getting the queue to 0

There are now 816 holders of the New Page Reviewer flag! Most of you requested the user right to be able to do something about the huge backlog but it's still roughly less than 10% doing 90% of the work. Now it's time for action.
Exactly one year ago there were 'only' 3,650 unreviewed articles, now we will soon be approaching 7,000 despite the growing number of requests for the NPR user right. If each reviewer soon does only 2 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by every reviewer doing only 1 review every 2 days - that's only a few minutes work on the bus on the way to the office or to class! Let's get this over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.

Sant Singh Maskeen's page reverted

Hi,

Just noticed that the edits that I made on Sant Singh Maskeen's page were reverted back to an old revision due to reliability issues. Edits were primarily based on the information from his biography which would fall under both the category of 'Primary sources' and 'Secondary source.' Primary since it was an "original material" that was "close to an event", is an "account written by people who" were "directly involved" in Maskeen Ji's life. The biography did "offer an insider's view of an event, a period of history...(Wikipedia:Rs). Further, this particular biography could also be considered a secondary source since its "a document or recording that relates or discusses information originally presented elsewhere." His life events have been originally recorded by other historians in the form of text, speeches and other biographies as well.

Moreover, section titled "Death" was changed to "Death and Legacy" and a newspaper article was cited to support the information. This article too meets the reliability measurement standards of Wikipedia since Wikipedia:Rs states that "News reporting from well-established news outlets is generally considered to be reliable." The article was published by The Tribune, Ludhiana which is a "well-established news outlet."

I do agree that some of the sources, such as website references, added to support some sections may not meet reliability standards but I would like to bring something to your attention that the ONLY source used to base the current revision of this page ( "ਮਸਕੀਨ ਜੀ". Article is in Punjabi. www.maskeenji.net. Retrieved 7 December 2011.) is not reliable either. As such, it does not fall under the category of secondary sources, which Wikipedia:Rs states that should be primarily used to write Wikipedia. Not to mention, this source comes from a webpage which is opinionative.

Lastly, the information provided about Maskeen Ji on the page is not accurate. A few examples include the inaccurate list of languages he knew, the reason he wasn't able to continue his education, and list of jobs he worked, etc.

So please reconsider this decision.

Hello Asingh238, most of your edits were not supported by reliable sources, and you also removed maintenance tags too without making any required changes. I have restored the verifiable contents in the early life section that you added earlier, but I'm still unsure about the reliability of the book source you provided so, I have tagged it with {{Unreliable source?}}. The death and legacy section that you created had a few issues, the heading wasn't correct per MOS:HEADING, the first paragraph wasn't supported with a reliable source and the second paragraph had nothing, but a quotation from the chief secretary of a non-notable organisation so, if you still want to include the quotation, please add a request on the article talk page and provide a good reason why it must be included. Also, I have removed some unsourced contents and tagged a few with {{Citation needed}} so, if you want to help, please consider providing some reliable sources to support the current state of the article. I don't have any relations with Meghdeep Bose. In fact I am a fan of his works and the flag mentioning "advertisement", "resume" and "undisclosed payments" is not valid because most of the content mentioned (also well cited) on the article has been directly quoted or interpreted from news paper publications. if you're not in favor of the nature of article then please choose to correct it, but I find the "multiple issues" flags absolutely invalid.

Hi,

Recently the page for Delirious New York was removed on the basis of WP:UDP. Now, I'm sorry to say this, but this is nonsense. I've been on this site for 8 years now and started the article on the basis of its relevance to the world of architecture, publication history and influence. The article might be start-class, but is in no way a flyer or otherwise promotional, instead being supported with relevant, neutral sources and references. I have therefore reverted your deletion of the page.

Tagging of Shahid Shabbir

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Shahid Shabbir. I do not think that Shahid Shabbir fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because "He is widely known for his work on discovering and restoring Sikh and Hindu religious places left in Pakistan after 1947" is a Claim of significence.   • What you mean by falsehood? all my comments are based on evidence that I'm happy to share with any admin who wants to review your block. That advert was posted in October 2018, and the review was added by you in January 2019 four years after you created Outlook Mobile so your claim doesn't make any sense. In October 2019, you hired a freelancer from Upwork to add comments on a talk page for you as well as to perform a few reverts what was your purpose? GSS 💬 18:41, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
  • @Barkeep49:, He wants to continue paid editing without disclosing links to his off-wiki websites where he advertises? and his clients? that's a violation of WP:PAID. Why it took him years to understand our policies? do we really give this much chances to brand new paid editors? the list is not completed and his claim that he also provides consultation services is just an excuse, we can't review all becasue most of the adverts are protected, but from the title of those adverts, we can judge they aren't for consultation services. Out of all 50 paid jobs he took from Upwork he disclosed only 32 or something and we don't know about the rest of them. In June 2018 he was hired for something that reads: "Wikipedia New Page Reviewer/Administrator Needed" what that was for? as per WP:PAID he can't perform as a reviewer. Last month he hired a freelancer from Upwork to comment on a talk page and perform a few reverts (that's what the advert reads) so, that means he literally hired someone to game the system and we have no idea how many times he did things like this in the past. Before he was blocked by Yunshui on 12th, he was working on 10 Wikipedia related projects which he needs to disclose that too. Having gotten the reviewer PERM in August 2018, they have been a regular reviewer of articles and redirects, been an active participant in the NPP community, and has been the driving force for the emerging NPP Source Guide that will help reviewers better evaluate sourcing and notability in many countries for which it has historically been difficult.

Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League (N) party's election symbol is Lion. During an election, a lion was "chained, placed on a vehicle and repeatedly paraded around as part of the election campaign" [3]. Sharif is often called lion by supporters, hence the reference. Discussion on proposed deletion of Agarwal Movers Group

Hello GSS,

I would like to understand and discuss the page's deletion. I've read the marked WP:CORPDEPTH and believe that the page withstands it. However, I do believe that the right name of reference for the page would be Agarwal Packers and Movers. That said, I do not know how to add that disambiguation.

Should I create a new page, or use a different Display Title 'DISPLAYTITLE' for reference. Kindly help.

What is your problem?

I want to ask that if someone created a new article with a new ID, it means that he/she is me? If you are an Intelligent, then give evidence, do not guess. Otherwise, I want to tell you that any person can create a new ID and can create any article. It does not mean that he/she is me. Keep these in your mind. Please do not do silly activities. Don't misuse your rights. I am doing my work with honesty. It is very easy to guess anything but estimates are not always true. So please try to understand. Replying your concern about the COI

Regarding my page creation for Mitrade, I would like to state that the nature of my edits is based on my free will and follows the format of other edits on broker firms available on Wikipedia (e.g. etoro and Plus500), and I do not possess a financial stake in promoting the topic. The references that I have included are also legitimate. It is thus an invalid action for me to comply to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements because there is no compensation in the first place.

To provide you with a little background, I am a veteran in the finance and trading industry and I believe that I can use my skills to help improve Wikipedia’s finance content to my best capabilities, and help people who are interested in finance yet lack the knowledge of it. It is rather unfair to assume that I have any financial links with the topic written. Furthermore, I have been editing (Chinese) content on Wikipedia and have not encounter any problems until now. I am taking this topic (Mitrade) as my first finance content project, and I have plans to move on to other finance companies after this. If this is the initiate response from the authorities, then how can it reassure my dedication to creating better content for the Wikipedia community?

Please let me know how I can improve the content that I have previously contributed (in this case, Mitrade) so I can do a better job at editing finance content.

Also, I have seen similar content approved and available on Wikipedia, such as IC Markets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IC_Markets), so what makes it different for Mitrade?

Hi, I've removed references of case filed against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sachiin_J._Joshi which is no way the actual story and the page was updated on the basis of media speculations. As it is clear from prime fascia proof that both these people have been accusing each other and said case mention under the business subhead of wikipedia page of Sachin Joshi is under jurisdiction, so putting up these rumours on wikipedia page will adversely affect the person reputation until proven guilty by law of court and as per indian law putting false and unverified ( media coverage for criminal charges unless proven in court of law are not verified informations) information online leads to prosecution under the law.
