Hi Boleyn. Thanks a lot for reviewing my new pages. I come from eswiki, and policies are differente from there and here. How are mi two news articles? Aren't they bad, are them? Sorry if my English isn't fluently. Regards. Tajotep (talk) 21:53, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello, Tajotep, thank you for working on English Wikipedia as well. Your creations are good, I've been happy to review them. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 18:32, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

Thanks

Hi Lfstevens. Thanks for checking the copyedit of the two first articles I created (A cognitonibus and Ab epistulis). I'm Spanish so I sometimes commit grammar and orthography mistakes. Greetings. Tajotep (talk) 13:11, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

Happy to do so. Cheers! Lfstevens (talk) 21:39, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

Multiple issues in Europa Press

Hi Crisco 1492. Some time ago (2011) you marked the page Europa Press like an article without sources. Now I'm contributing in the article and I added some references. Can you check it and eliminate that template? In particular, how can I correct the notabilty of the article? Greetings. Tajotep (talk) 20:07, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

  • Tajotep, notability isn't something you "correct". It's either there or it's not. For Europa Press, you'd need at least one (preferably more) reliable, independent source that deals with the subject in-depth. A contemporary newspaper profile, a chapter (or subchapter) in a biography on Reavey, or something similar. Just saying that something exists is not enough for notability.  — Chris Woodrich (talk) 04:26, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Modigliani

Hello Tajotep, in the article about "Modigliani" I have changed the name "Modigliani" in one case in "Amadeo Modigliani" because the sentence mentions the painter was the fourth child of his eltern and therefore the brother of several other children with the last name Modigliani. In the next sentence the form "Amadeo" is used, following the same logic. I believe, my change is justified and I would be pleased if you would allow me this small alteration. In case you have a good reason for using "Modigliani" without the first name, I would be grateful if you could explain this to me.Opzwartbeek (talk) 22:36, 16 November 2017 (UTC)

Ok, it's my error. I've just looked quickly and I observed which all paragraphs start in "Modigliani", so I supposed that your edit wasn't necessary, but when you left the message I read the info in the section and I realised I was wrong. Sorry for that. Greetings. Tajotep (talk) 22:44, 16 November 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Labordeta (talkcontribs)

Your reversions of User:CEpley

I have reverted some of these, and may do more. I have also messaged his talk - he is adding too many books, and making other mistakes. But I don't think his edits amount to WP:BOOKSPAM - these are just the sort of books FR should have, just rather a lot of them. Cheers, Johnbod (talk) 01:06, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for your message and thanks for checking my contributions. I'm new on enwiki and I can commit some mistakes. Recently my contribution on "Etruscan history" has been reverted. Since you didn't revert it, I ask you... It's a good edition, or that user is right?. Same to you. Tajotep (talk) 18:47, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
I commented at [[1]] on problems with his edits, but on the whole I think they are better there than not there at all. I'm working through adjusting them somewhat, without having personal knowledge of all these works. that there too. Johnbod (talk) 18:52, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

Socrates

The reason why all the years are included is because different sources show different years for birth, which indicates the sources don't agree, which necessitates inclusion of all the years shown by sources, since there isn't agreement. Your criticism, reiterative, is not the correct choice because, if you would like to verify for yourself, the definition of the word you used does not apply to difference but instead to the same thing repeated - [2], [3]. This would therefore allow me to return your edit to the previous version. 23h112e (talk) 20:06, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

I reverted some part of your edition because if you add three times (at the top of the article, in the infobox person and in the section of "Early years") it's redundant. I never doubt the references, so I added it again. If you want to discuss anything, you can write on the talk. Greetings. Information icon Hello, I'm SteveMcCluskey. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of Mexican inventions and discoveries have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You have added links to the phrase "first civilization", which redirects to the article Cradle of civilization, in many articles, which is inappropriate when it merely refers to the "first civilization to...." Would you please edit more selectively in the future and remove the many inappropriate edits that you have made. SteveMcCluskey (talk) 19:02, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

On my talk page you said:
I don't find them inappropiate. "First civilization" is a term, and it doesn't matter where it's accompanied by. In addition, some of the words I linked redirected to "civilization", so I linked to "first civilization". Tajotep (talk) 10:56, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
As the Wikipedia Maual of Style makes clear, links are intended to "provide instant pathways to locations … that are likely to increase readers' understanding of the topic at hand." More specifically, it notes that editors should "beware of linking to an article without first confirming that it is helpful in context."
A link from Alpha Centauri in fiction to "First civilization" does not link to an article that is helpful in understanding "the first civilization to send a colony ship to the Alpha Centauri system." It would be tiresome to give other examples of inappropriate links from your list of contriburions. Please stop this practice of thoughtless editing. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 02:36, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
The link to First civilization is indeed misleading in the given context. Talking about the "the first civilization of all civilizations in the game, that does something" is not the same as talking about "The first civilization" here on Earth in particular. Mere fact that words "a" and "b" appear next to each other doesn't mean they should be automatically linked to an "a b" article. It would be sensible to unlink that. Martinjanda (talk) 19:58, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
Here is an alternative statement that should help to understand the context: "One of the potential victory conditions involves being the third civilization to discover electricity.". Such statements have nothing to do with the First civilization. Also, being familiar with the game helps to understand the difference. Martinjanda (talk) 13:56, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Athena Parthenos

Pardon, but may I ask why you reverted my edit on the Athena Parthenos? The cited article itself uses "26 cubits", which is also what was noticed by Pliny the Elder (according to Mary Beard's The Parthenon, page 40); 26 cubits is also exactly 39 feet. Hercules

Talk about what? All of the Hercules episodes are underdeveloped, overwritten plot summarries without an ounce of real-life world information, lacking any significance or citations. All of these things I just wrote have been written at the top of those articles since 2011. They don't need a discussion. It's a pretty non-controversial merge & redirect. Cite journal

Hey there, judging by recent edits of yours to various Lego video games, you really like to use the {{cite journal}} te plate for citations. Quite interestingly, as it is one of the less commonly used ones. However, I sceptical whether the template is appropriate for content that is displayed online (not in a journal), especially when there is no printed counterpart (e.g. the IGN source you changed on Lego The Incredibles just now). The rendering might not be very different (if different at all), but for alignment's sake, please consider using {{cite web}} for such sources in the future. Cheers! Hello Tajotep,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Cook (dog) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Nationalities

Catalan and Basque are nationalities. The 1978 Spanish Constitution states "The Constitution is based on the indissoluble unity of the Spanish Nation, the common and indivisible homeland of all Spaniards; it recognizes and guarantees the right to self-government of the nationalities and regions of which it is composed and the solidarity among them all."

Now please stop peddling that falsehood. There's no reason for you to object to these changes unless you have a sinister political motive.ApolloCarmb (talk) 08:00, 21 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Reverts on Hypercorrection

Hello, Tajotep. I have left a warning for IP User talk:5.41.185.76 not to violate the three-revert rule. They already have reverted multiple times, so if a user from that IP changes the page again without discussion, you may want to bring the edits to the attention of WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring.

You may also want to take care, though, not to violate the rule yourself. In the past I have seen well-intended editors get in trouble for violating the letter of that rule, even when they were acting for the best interests of the project. Thank you for your contributions, and happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 02:17, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Your Ninurta edit

The IP user you reverted was correct; the relief of the bird-headed figure is definitely not Ninurta and I have no idea how it came to be identified as him here on Wikipedia, since that erroneous identification is not found anywhere else to my knowledge. I have replaced it with an image of a relief from Ninurta's temple at Kalhu that almost definitely really depicts him and have provided a citation in the caption underneath the image to a reliable, scholarly source explaining this. --Katolophyromai (talk) 11:50, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

Thunderbolt image

Hi Tajotep, thanks for getting in touch. As far as I can tell, it is a photo of Thunderbolt. It has been reproduced in reliable sources as Thunderbolt (eg 1, 2, 3), and given that Westwood died in 1846, it is highly unlikely to be him since photography was still in its infancy. It would seem the filename and details over at Wiki Commons will have to be corrected. - HappyWaldo (talk) 12:32, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

RonBot (talk) 18:20, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

In my review about Spain's religion I added that Spain was granting Spanish citizenship to Sephardic Jews who could prove to have their ancestors in Spain. You erased this sentence because I didn’t add the link. Here it is. Unfortunedly I don’t know how to do it. Could you please do it for me? Muito obrigado. Ibn Gabirol

Aitana and Vicente

The article says "[...] it is said they broke up on March", that is the definition of speculation. Anyway, why is Vicente relevant? We do not even know his last name. Why is Aitana's teenage relationship with a guy named Vicente encyclopedically relevant? How is the fact that she unfollowed some guy on Instagram encyclopedically relevant? Invitation to participate in study

Hello,

I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.

Hello, Tajotep. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Luis Cepeda, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Luis Cepeda moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Luis Cepeda, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Orphaned non-free image File:Arno Dorian.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Arno Dorian.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. RL0919 (talk) 18:18, 2 July 2018 (UTC)

Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines

Information icon Hello, Tajotep. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Chilton Company, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.

While you haven't edited the Chilton Company article itself, you've added dozens of wikilinks to it from other articles. This is fairly unusual, and caught my attention. If you have any connection with the Chilton Company, please disclose it. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 02:42, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

RonBot (talk) 20:00, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

Pointless reverting

Exactly why did you do this? 146.90.125.77 (talk) 19:35, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Order of Charles III recipients, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:28, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

Notice

The article Michael Copeman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable actor lacking in-depth, non-trivial support. Fails WP:ENT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 03:55, 29 August 2018 (UTC)

I recently noticed that you undid two edits I did to the Incredibles 2 page (one of which was to restore plot fixes I accidentally reverted from the first one). According to WP:FILMLEAD, the lead states that the primary genre and/or sub-genre can be used, and animation is really more of a format than an actual genre. As for the AllMovie link, it was the only one I could find that properly identified the genre. Just wanted to clear things up regarding my edits. IceWalrus236 (talk) 15:08, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Hi, modern archaeology redirects to Contemporary archaeology which "is a field of archaeological research that focuses on the most recent (20th and 21st century) past". Red Dead Redemption 2: difference about favorite (U.S.) / favourite (U.K.) spelling

Hello Tajotep,

My edit on Red Dead Redemption 2 had been done because the article is specifically written in American English which it has own words, as indicated on its talk page.

On Wikipedia, every article has own spelling conventions. For example, for British related topics, they are written in British English, and for Indian related topics, written in Indian English. Please read this article, in case if you didn't know that.

More than a plot

Hi Tajotep, I seem to be moving uphill with this, but the content I removed was far more than a plot description [8]. It includes the writer's intent and reason for cancellation. Thank you, 2601:188:180:1481:E08B:61B7:5650:EA7E (talk) 17:35, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

Copyright problem on The Serpent (Da Vinci's Demons)

Hello Tajotep. Unfortunately I had to remove the plot section from the above article, as it's a match for the content at http://natgeotv.com/in/da-vinci-s-demons/about. I have also removed this and several other plot summaries from List of Da Vinci's Demons episodes as they're copyright and thus not available for us to copy. Please don't add unsourced birth dates, as you did in this edit. Since you didn't cite your source, I don't know where you're getting your information from. Victims of the White Terror

This article presupposes that any of us have a clue what the White Terror was. We don't have a clue. Please write an introductory paragraph which provides a context for the remainder of the article. In general, all articles should be written based on the presumption that the reader does not know the subject area; the article should explain the subject to the user. thx. --Tagishsimon (talk) 20:02, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

Thanks Tajotep. That's very much better; and I appreciate that sometimes you have to leave an article half-done because of a shortage of time. Thank you for your work.
I have a copy of 'The Spanish Civil War' by Hugh Thomas, which seems to be the (English language) definitive text, on my bookshelf, but I confess I have yet to make much headway through it. Must do so; such a fascinating and sad epoch of history with - again sadly - so much contemporary resonance. --Tagishsimon (talk) 22:47, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

Mass reversions of Gaiseric to "Genseric"

Hi,

At my suggestion, the Gaiseric article is now at Gaiseric (instead of Genseric). Since it is my responsibility to make sure wikilinks point to the correct article, and since Gaiseric is the most common name in recent scholarly sources, I have tried to fix some of the articles which refer to "Genseric" and wl there. Why are you mass reverting these fixes? If you disagree with the name change, please explain on talk:Gaiseric. 173.66.2.216 (talk) 17:41, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

P.S. I see you have also changed all references to Gaiseric, on Gaiseric, back to Genseric. 173.66.2.216 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:51, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

You reverted my edit of this article in which I stated accurately that the Protestant Cemetary in Rome is also called the Non-Catholic Cemetary (which is its correct name now). You truly are a piece of work

It amazes me how a user with so many badges for supposed cooperative behavior has consistently acted in such a rude, childish, and uncooperative way. You simply keep reverting my edits to the Clementine page without any reasoning at all. You're not even SEEING what you are undoing and how you're making the opening paragraphs so badly worded. This is pure provocation and petty antagonism on your part. I fully expect you to not address me at all or think about the work you're undoing because you are a disgusting coward. Have a nice day. 186.154.25.195 (talk) 04:51, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Would you please tell me the rationale for this change?

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=New_Christian&diff=next&oldid=875061710

deisenbe (talk) 15:24, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Fine. Here's your explanation for why the Clementine page needs those changes

Second paragraph describing first Walking Dead season: "In the first season, Clementine is a young 8-9 year old girl".

The first addition is a preposition to the sentence which you seem intent on removing. Why I have no idea, this is just basic wording. The second is a more accurate description of Clementine's age as she does not stay 8 years old throughout the entirety of the first season, which the fifth and final episode even acknowledges.

Third paragraph describing second Walking Dead season: "This season has several endings".

Again, because you don't even care to watch what you revert, you keep changing this word back to "series", which is wrong because the sentence is just referring to the single second season and not the entire Telltale's Walking Dead series.

Happy? 186.154.25.195 (talk) 15:37, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

In regard to this edit, we can't use Weekly World News as a source because much of the publication was fictional and/or satirical. The cited article didn't even mention the name of O'Toole's school, so even if we were 100% sure that the WWN was being honest in that particular article, it still wouldn't have been a great source for the sentence in the Wikipedia article for which it was being used. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:11, 21 January 2019 (UTC)

Michael Enright

I would like to know why you undid my edits and put back false allegations on Michael Enright? Jordan Matson made a bunch of unverified and untrue claims about Enright on a Facebook page he ran, and the media wrongly picked it up. No media tried to verify any of the claims before they reported on it, so because the media was sloppy, Wikipedia needs to continue smearing Enright? Matson falsely accused Enright of trying to kill himself, but Matson actually tried to kill himself. On whose Wikipedia page is an attempted suicide posted? Enright’s. Matson was kicked out of the United States military before he ever was deployed, and on Enright's page Matson is introduced as a US Solider, giving Matson more credibility. The Daily Mail had the worst articles. They had three false articles about Enright in 2015 and one false article in 2016, all based on Matson’s Facebook post. We found out about a Watchdog group in England that has a lot of power, the Independent Press Standards Organization (IPSO), and with their help we were able to convince the Daily Mail to change their online articles. They also gave a retraction. Here is IPSO’s resolution statement:

https://www.ipso.co.uk/rulings-and-resolution-statements/ruling/?id=14335-16&fbclid=IwAR2E96xqd78V0t9wFsdRd9tGWpDq_VEa5z9si26xCgdMlEr2ULRafUOwNAA

I had previously removed Matson's false allegations against Enright from Wikipedia. I don’t understand why you insist that Wikipedia include the false and humiliating accusations against Enright. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Komicie (talkcontribs) 08:54, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:RLJE Films films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

Sergio Martino: Difference between revisions

The supposedly "unsourced" release dates for the Sergio Martino films you deleted were "sourced" from the existing Wikipedia pages created for those individual films. Should the dates from those pages be deleted as well?. Such is the total lack of consistent editorial logic at Wikipedia. Also the same dates are easily available on hundreds of other sites, including the IMDb (how much proof-of-year sourcing does one need?). Deleting the release dates makes no sense. But, institutionalized absurdities have always been central to Wikipedia's rigid and ridiculous editorial guidelines which is why I quit making regular contributions years ago. -- Ghost2011 (talk) 15:33, 30 November 2019 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on History of bookselling requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.geni.com/projects/Booksellers/26826. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Deletion discussion about Al-Furqan Media Foundation

Hello, Tajotep, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username North8000, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Al-Furqan Media Foundation, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Al-Furqan Media Foundation.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Notice

The article Herb Muller has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Very brief, very minor actor, who does not pass WP:NACTOR.

Lorenzo de' Medici, Duke of Urbino

You might have provided a reason for undoing my edit. I'll give you the opportunity to do so before I do anything else. The reason I gave for removing "Lord of Florence" was "corrected title." What was behind that is that I saw no evidence that Lorenzo was called "Lord of Florence." "Lord of Florence" links to "List of Rulers of Tuscany," which does not identify him as "Lord of Florence"; it identifies Cosimo de' Medici as "First de facto Lord of Florence."

I replaced "Lord of Florence" with the identity of the painter and the year of the painting, because I think that that is of interest. Even if you have evidence that Lorenzo was known as "Lord of Florence," I think that "Raphael, 1518" should be there too.Maurice Magnus (talk) 00:42, 19 October 2021 (UTC)

I'm fine with the changes you made, except where is the painting page on Commons? Following your lead, I changed "Lord" to "Ruler" for Lorenzo de' Medici too -- Lorenzo the Magnificent.Maurice Magnus (talk) 16:33, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

Forgive my ignorance, but is there anything in Lorenzo's entry that will take readers to the painting on Commons or the url of The Met? If not, shouldn't there be? Where did you add the url of the Met?Maurice Magnus (talk) 20:46, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

I added a footnote under the portrait. Are you okay with it? Maurice Magnus (talk) 21:40, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

I'm not opening a merger discussion for a page that barely breaks 25 views a day. Not worth it. May as well go and revert the other two while you're at it. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 00:53, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
