Still Waiting for help

Hello,there.

This is Anwar Shakir Wazir uploaded an article my Biography as a journalist. Still waiting for your great response.

Thanks. Anwar Shakir.

A Wikipedia article about a person must summarise what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about them, showing how they meet Wikipedia's special definition of a notable person your draft has your own writing as references, your own work is not independent so of no use for establishing notability. Theroadislong (talk) 09:39, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Laboratoire de physique des deux infinis Irène Joliot-Curie

Dear Theroadislong, I have updated the references following your recommendations. In particular, I have removed the references to L'Edition (the journal for Université Paris-Saclay) to comply with your request. Let me however stress that the editors of this journal have no direct links with IJCLab, and that they are independent in terms of editorial content.

On the other hand, the fact that the laboratory was created recently makes it fairly difficult to find articles and especially books in English describing the laboratory extensively as requested.

JayPsi (talk) 11:49, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

This would indicate that the topic is not notable in Wikipedia's terms then. Theroadislong (talk) 12:01, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

PaliRoots Page

Hi there!

Apologies I'm unsure of how to respond to your other message regarding my submission for a wikipage for PaliRoots

Wanted to note that I am head of public relations for the company - and ask the appropriate way for submitting a page with that knowledge (not something I'm trying to hide! Just simply unsure of how to properly present that through my profile :) ).

If this is through a paid disclaimer I am happy to do so!

Thanks for the help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenanmatari (talkcontribs) 19:10, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

You need to follow the instructions I left on your talk page under the heading "paid editing". Theroadislong (talk) 19:12, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello - I think you made a mistake

Hello! Thank you for responding to my inquiry on the Draft article on Benzinga. I think you made a mistake - the sources that I used in the article I wrote are not press releases, but independently published articles about the company that appeared in U.S. and Canadian media outlets including Bloomberg, Detroit Free Press and Globe and Mail. I intentionally avoided running PRNewswire coverage, which is all press releases, and did not quote from the site itself. And Adoil Descended (talk) 19:17, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Two of the sources looked like press releases as they share the same title "Benzinga startup to move to Dan Gilbert's Campus Martius spot in Detroit" but I could be wrong, feel free to re-submit and I'll leave it for another reviewer. Theroadislong (talk) 19:23, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

3rd draft: Ernst Strüngmann Forum

Hi Theroadislong,

The text for the Ernst Strüngmann Forum article has been rewritten and will be published in a minute. It relies on third-party, peer-reviewed academic publications and reliable news sources. The logic behind this draft is to convey the following information to the interested reader:

  • Purpose of the institute
  • Location
  • Funding & backing
  • Output

In developing the article, I consulted Wikipedia articles for two comparable institutes: Aspen Institute and the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin. When one compares the Wikipedia articles for these 2 institutes, one might find the text to be "promotional" in tenor, but the info is nonetheless important for the reader. Importantly, both articles rely on these institutions' websites as info sources, especially the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, as opposed to third-party sources.

In researching the Ernst Strüngmann Forum, I encountered numerous articles published in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals -- all of which offer glowing assessments of this institute. A Wikipedia article in English appears to be long overdue. I hope this draft fulfills this purpose. I look forward to your comments. Thanks, Susyak — Preceding unsigned comment added by Susyak (talkcontribs) 16:47, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

George Cervantes

Hello Theroadislong --- I added a 3 new links and 1 is very important. Under the career milestone - Cervantes was featured as the #3 celebrity matchmaker alongside TV celebrity star Patti Stanger from the TV show The Millionare Matchmaker and MTV's celebrity TV star Alessandra Conti. Cervantes was placed at #3 on the list of the top celebrity matchmakers in Hollywood. He was recognized in the news article for being one of the top celebrity matchmakers in Hollywood. The News story wasn't just about Cervantes, but it convers him in great detail.

He was already featured on many publications for opening his own animal shelter in New York City and was awarded by the state of New York. There are many links that have the story on his page. He was also feautured as the top 10 influencer in his home coutry of Peru. I belive I have provided plenty of links to prove notability. News stories on different independent sources that have absolutely no relationship to Cervantes or his organization or that will benefit from talking about Cervantes.

According to Wikipedia - Cervantes must be listed on different news publications that have no relationship to him and none of those links have any relationship to Cervantes or his organization. That means that all of those links are independent sources and count towards making him notable for Wikipedia. --Marcorubiocali (talk) 19:17, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Cervantes owns a celebrity matchmaking service. Those news publiations where he is featured are celebrity news channels, magazines, tabloids and such. These types of places have absolutely zero benefit from associating with Cervantes. They are all independent sources that make Cervantes notable for Wikipedia.

Looking forward to hearing back from you. --Marcorubiocali (talk) 19:18, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

I will leave it to another reviewer, I am not convinced. Theroadislong (talk)

Thank you and let's see what another reviewr has to say. --Marcorubiocali (talk) 19:25, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Fashion Net notability

In your latest edit, you write "Submission is about a company or organization not yet shown to meet notability guidelines."

Fashion Net is not a company or organization; Fashion Net is a web portal - the very first of its kind.

Where can I read about Wikipedia's notability guidelines for a web portal? I found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(web), but I didn't find anything there that indicates the references I already provided are insufficient.

Thanks for your guidance on this, Theroadislong.

Fashion Net sources

Thank you, Theroadislong. I can update the formatting of Fashion Net's references using the RefToolbar.

As for scanned sources, I found this reference that links to a scan of an old newspaper uploaded by Google:

[1]

Several of the referenced articles on the Fashion Net draft are published only in print and will be hard to verify if links to the scans are missing; there is no archive I'm aware of where old BBC footage can be seen.

Sources do not have to be online, we don't need a scan or link to them, just cite them with publisher, date and page details. Theroadislong (talk) 07:54, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

About the Sandor Belak article

Dear Theroadislong.

Thank you for your fast review of the Sándor Belák article draft. I have gone through the references and changed them to the format that is required by Wikipedia. There is an external reference, see below, which gives a comprehensive summary of all the facts (and even more) what is written in the article. I have referenced that twice - do not know if I need to reference it more. What do you think? With kind regards, --Fmasszi (talk) 17:44, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

You have four section with zero sources, I can't read your source above, but if it supports the content in the unsourced sections then by all means cite it. Theroadislong (talk) 17:49, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Fmasszi, to me, and I've written a number of such biographies, it looks like a mostly unverified resume. You can't say things about all the publications and how important they are to a Google search, the awards are unsourced, the "International assignments" are unsourced except for one primary source, etc. Drmies (talk) 17:52, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Dear Drmies thanks for your note. Please consider what you yourself also wrote : "except for one primary source". This primary source is in fact verifies everything - and even more - what is in the article. Have you looked at that primary source? Please do that - it is in English. Do we really need more when that source is so comprehensive? Please also note that this article already exist in the Hungarian Wikipedia https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bel%C3%A1k_S%C3%A1ndor_(%C3%A1llatorvos) and in that version all Sandor Belak's aricles (about 20-30) are referenced. But in the English version I took them out, following the previous advice of another editor HitroMilanese.

Kind regards --Fmasszi (talk) 18:20, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Fmasszi Primary sources cannot be used to establish notability for that we require significant in-depth coverage in secondary sources. The English Wikipedia has a higher threshold for inclusion than other countries. Theroadislong (talk) 18:34, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Fmasszi, this is a resume, summarizing what was no doubt provided by the subject himself. I assume the subject has no reason to lie about any of it, but then again we've seen plenty of well-known people who were less than honest. This is why we require proper, independent, secondary sources. And notability isn't perhaps the most important issue here; the very basic fact of reliability is. In addition, "Impact on higher education" and "Impact outside academia" are completely unverified, and cannot by their very nature be self-sourced--they are, right now, unverified promotional claims. Just as your subject's articles and books were peer-reviewed (if they were published in academic journals and by academic presses), so do claims about someone's impact need to be properly vetted. I am trying to explain this, and our policies, to you, but I am not going to discuss these guidelines with you: they are well-established throughout the project, and if you want the bio to be accepted, it would be beneficial to follow them. Matters of notability, as well as other aspects, are outlined in Wikipedia:Notability (academics). Thank you, Drmies (talk) 18:50, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Dear Drmies no doubt you are right but I was referring to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Newsletter, see reference above in this section, not to the ABCD article you quoted above. That article was surely not written by the subject himself and it is very detailed. But anyway, I see your point and will complete the article with the necessary references as you outlined. They are not so difficult to find, just give me some days to find the time. In fact, almost all of them were already in the Hungarian version. Concerning the notability issue, thanks but I am familiar with it, I have gone through it already before the summer with another editor User HitroMilanese and the subject person was accepted from that perspective. But anyway, thanks for your concern, I will change the article as requested. It will definitely be better. Have a nice evening (it is evening in Sweden where I am) --Fmasszi (talk) 19:37, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong,

I'm writing regarding your review of my article about the Value Balancing Alliance, which I last edited in October. I understand that the nature of my edits gave you the impression that I'm getting paid to write it, but I'm not. I'm a student who is interested in Sustainable Finance, the economy, and especially sustainability topics. This is the first article I ever wrote on Wikipedia, and I was really interested to learn how to write a Wikipedia article. Obviously, I'm not good at it, but I would be very thankful to have some assistance from your side on how to improve my article. I'm writing this article to challenge myself to learn new things, such as writing an article from the beginning on Wikipedia, and informing others about a non-profit organisation that, in my opinion, is doing a great job on achieving sustainability. Still, I am NOT profiting in any kind of way from doing this.

I would be very grateful if you could help me with this matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CMEvalue (talkcontribs) 10:39, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Creating an article from scratch is the most difficult task on Wikipedia, it’s like deciding you want to be a surgeon and then doing brain surgery with no experience. Start by removing everything that doesn’t have a reliable independent source, ALL content should be based solely on independent published sources. Theroadislong (talk) 10:58, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Practo Draft Deletion

Hey, We are trying to take the wikipedia page for Practo live for a while now and have been facing issues. It gets speedy deleted of the draft is rejected with your concerns of it being an advertisement for the company. We had mentioned before that we are getting paid by the company to make the page live. If you could please help us understand how we can overcome this issue, it would be a great help.

We can now not even access our draft to make changes for the same. It would be great if you could get that issue sorted too.

Thankyou. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Archit.2006 (talkcontribs) 12:01, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

Mina Miller Edison is notable for her contributions in the civic arena. Being president of the National Playground Association and the National Recreation and Parks Service is not notable? Yes, she was married to a famous man, but her contributions are her own and her famous husband should not disqualify her. I'm working with The Edison Papers and we're doing this for a virtual historical exhibit. Kathlittle22 (talk) 19:13, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

Mina Miller Edison Notability

Hello I am messaging in response to your message to explain why Mina Miller Edison is indeed notable. Having reviewed the guidelines you sent me, I have determined that while she was indeed married to a famous man, she certainly should not be excluded for that simple reason. She should be included in wikipedia based on her accomplishments, namely, her civic engagement. Mrs. Edison was a civic backbone of West Orange in the late 1800s and early 1900s and headed several community organizations during a time when women were just beginning to take such public roles. Mina Miller Edison was a trailblazer. Her work should not be considered trivial just because her scope was limited as a result of her context. At that point it's like saying women's work doesn't or didn't matter. I'm a historical intern working for the Thomas Edison Papers project with the National Park service and we're trying to get wiki pages up for notable people for an online exhibit. Kathlittle22 (talk) 20:09, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Kathlittle22

The draft doesn't make clear what the "contributions in the civic arena" actually were and being president of the National Playground Association and the National Recreation and Parks Service is not inherently notable in itself. Happy to be persuaded otherwise. Theroadislong (talk) 20:12, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

Brenda Almond (philosopher)

Okay, so I have spent a few more days on this! Please pop over to the draft and have a look. Basically, I have found references in:

The Times The Sunday Times The Daily Mail (Yes, I know this is not a reputable 'source' but the point of this reference is to show that Almond was addressing the Daily Mail audience through features, hence 'active in the public debate'. It can go, of course, if that's still not appropriate) The Times Higher (There's a lot of links to her here if needed)

Then there's the UK government committees which throw up only limited mentions, but I have indicated she was indeed active here which is surely a 'notable' role.

But I guess, it's over to you again now!

(One thing I haven't gone into is her direct links to people like Mary Midgley, AJ Ayer, etc who have long pages on WP and mention her in their books… ) 13:33, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

Could you please explain HERE what the latest situation is - and if there is progress, how to get the piece ready and so on. Independent sources

what do you mean by independent? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trixvel (talkcontribs) 18:04, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Indpendent sources are ones that have no connection to you. Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about something or someone Wikipedia summarises what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. You do not appear to pass the criteria at WP:GNG or WP:NMUSICIAN. Theroadislong (talk) 18:09, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Its your opinion but wikipedia's rules say another. take a look:

> Criteria for musicians and ensembles > 5. Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable). > G-Mafia Records, Islou Records, Noize Bangers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trixvel (talkcontribs) 18:21, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Trixvel Your only "sources" seem to be the existence of your music online. Any article about you must summarize what independent sources say about your work; such as reviews of your music not prompted by you, or media coverage of your performances(again, not prompted by you). Note that an article about yourself is not necessarily desirable, see this page. Even if you are notable, there still must be sources about you to summarize in an article. 331dot (talk) 18:35, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Enwriter You need to create a draft using WP:AFC called Draft:Hindi Olympiad Foundation and then submit it for review, but ensure that it is supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia is NOT for merely providing information. A Wikipedia article about an organisation must summarise what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about them Theroadislong (talk) 16:40, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

Archit.2006, why do you use the word "we"? Wikipedia accounts are for the use of one person and one person only. Team accounts are not permitted. So, if yours is a team account with a shared password, abandon it and create individual accounts. Each account must comply with WP:PAID. This is mandatory. Gary Nicolas Nader Article: List of Publications

Thanks for your comment regarding the endless list of publications not being useful for conferring notability. I had attempted to establish notability in the first section of the article, not with the list of publications. To clarify, I included the list of publications because, during my research of this topic, I found several publications by Gary Nader Editions were being sold online as collector's items, in some cases for hundreds of dollars. So I thought a list of similar publications by the same author would be useful, not for notability, but to people interested in these publications for the sake of the descriptions and photos of the art they contain. I reviewed the Wikipedia [policy] but didn't see what part I was violating exactly, as I only included publications that had an OCLC number (as the independent verification that they do indeed exist as publications). Could you please clarify exactly which Wikipedia policy is being violated in the instance of this list being included in the article, and also how much I should shorten the list so it is not considered endless? Thanks for your time. --Glassdaughter (talk) 19:08, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

I am not saying that you are violating policy, just that adding more and more publications is not improving the chances of acceptance. Theroadislong (talk) 19:16, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

not allowing external links is easy to fix. you also say you don't use interviews but the Houston Press, Music Connection, Listen Here, and Music News references are articles written about at least one member of the band and/or are reviews of the band's material from external sources. i will remove external links but after that there should be no reason not to approve the entry. There is indeed a Corky Goldstein, but not a Corky Levy Goldstein, it seems. I don't think you need to steer clear of the issue at all. Even if they happen to be a lawyer, straight talking is always best. FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 21:08, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

PRweb as a source

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback on the article in my sandbox, it's appreciated and I've made your suggested edits re: citations and have re-submitted for further review / feedback.

One question, though: The press release I cited was simply to prove a distinction given. Is that not allowed or recommended? (I did add a second citation for that as well)

Draft:FATN Talking News

Hello,

I'm trying to put together a Wikipedia page (my first) for a local talking newspaper charity that helps visually impaired people. I've tried to model the style of the page on the Wikipedia entry for Llanelli Talking Newspaper (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llanelli_Talking_Newspaper), but the page I'm working on keeps failing moderation. Can you provide some specific guidance about what's missing, please?

Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EnglishTim (talkcontribs) 22:33, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Sources need to be independent, reliable and cover the topic in-depth. Your two sources merely support the existence of the newspaper without showing what makes it notable. Theroadislong (talk) 08:38, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

New article request of a composer

Hello Theroadislong

i'm new here so i'm a bit unsure how to proceed with things. i noticed you have a lot of milestones on wiki so i hope you can help me.

I'm trying to get a British composer on Wikipedia by the name of Jonny Easton. He has notable work for the BBC and a lot of global adverts and small films: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9485186/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 He's also verified on facebook and Youtube. over 100 songs and many albums.

many thanks

You will need to gather together some reliable sources that discuss him in-depth, IMDb, Facebook and YouTube are not reliable and do not help at all with notability. Theroadislong (talk) 15:41, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Support for an article

Hi Theroadislong,

Thank you for the feedback on the Water-Smart Society article. I've been submitting the article 3 times and I see that as I get something right, the next time the article appears to have new issues. I write you on behalf of Water Europe, the association I work for. We would like to make an article explaining our vision, in the last edits I supported the vision with several sources. But it doesn't seems enough. Could you please help me and be more specific on what I should change?

It will be so nice to have such indications.

I thank you in advance for your time and support. Wishing you a lovely weekend,

Hey,

Just saw your message — there is no paid editing. I actually run the company and thought that it was OK for me to create a Wiki page for the brand as I believed we had sufficient coverage to do so and have been blue-tick verified on social media.

I've seen Wikipedia pages for other labels such as Black Butter Records, Butterz, and artists such as Bru-C with the same exact coverage so I'm not sure what I've done wrong.

Thanks, JoshKillian Spiceley (talk) 15:53, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

If it is your own company then you are definitely considered a paid editor and will need to make the disclosure on your user page

Articles | Nation brand

Could you please explain why nation branding projects are irrelevant to Wikipedia?

Considering the number of books written about the topic (https://www.bookdepository.com/search?searchTerm=country+brand&search=Find+book) and the success that the it has on Ted (eg https://www.ted.com/talks/simon_anholt_which_country_does_the_most_good_for_the_world?language=en), we thought that it had some interest to, at least, a couple of people.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Wikipedia is not concerned with people being famous, they need to be notable, Anisha Ranghar needs to pass the criteria at WP:NSINGER in order for an article to be created. Theroadislong (talk) 20:11, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Posting of my contribution

Good day!

On October 26, 2021, I posted an article to Wikipedia on the work of Dutch naval architect Peter van Oossanen, especially his work on the design of the 'winged keel,' a notable event that helped an Australian boat win the 1983 America's Cup. In competitive, high-end yachting that victory ended a 132-year (!) winning streak of the United States. I don't expect a quick finaI posting. I know there is an long cue of articles ahead of me. But can you say, generally speaking, how long it takes for an article to see publication? And where can I monitor the progress? With kind regards - DutchSailor. 2021DutchSailor (talk) 07:54, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Drafts cab reviewed in minutes if they are straight forward declines or accepts, but can be left for much longer if they are not so clear cut, drafts are reviewed in no particular order. I'm afraid your draft Draft:Peter van Oossanen is VERY poorly sourced so is likely to be declined again. Theroadislong (talk) 16:26, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

hlep me in publishing new article on laxminiya Youth club

Hello sir, I am the new user and I donot know the total criteria for publishing the article. I have created an article on Laxminiya Youth club of Morang district in Nepal. Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle ccorps

This Corps has a significant historical place in DCI. Deleting or reverting the page of one of the original 13 founding corps is antithetical to the cause of DCI. Please become informed about Drum and Bugle Corps history before adminoshing those who wish to preserve these gems of musical history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Argonne73 (talkcontribs) 22:20, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Sanskar Desai draft for review

Hello Sir, Thank you for your guidance and comments. I have just started editting. I have edited some pages but that was only some information. I wanted to write a new page and while searching found there was no page on Sanskar Desai a senior documentary filmmaker.Hence decided to write on this person. When searched on wikipedia, gathered that there was some page composed earlier but was deleted as there were no citations or references. With the help of that information I wrote a fresh page, and added some citations and removed unnecessary unsourced material. And have made a fresh draft finally. And wish to send for review. Could you please guide me further. I am a passionate writer and follow wikipedia since over a decade. I like to research and write. And its my hobby. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnalphanso (talkcontribs) 19:16, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi

Hi, i'm talking about my Legends of the Multiverse article, so, the film has zero process of production, how do you expect it to have a load of sources yet? I'll add sources only throughout production. I just want my fan movie to go to Wikipedia, i'm new here btw :P — Preceding unsigned comment added by LoudCasaGumInsanityBFDI (talkcontribs) 22:12, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

You have misunderstood how Wikipedia works. Wikipedia summarises what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic, showing how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable topic. If there are no sources we cannot have an article. Theroadislong (talk) 22:18, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Jakub_Natanson updated

Thanks for the quick review of the first draft. I created the article for the German Wikipedia in 2014, with just one Publication about him in German (ISBN 3323001850). I omitted it in my first submission, because it was in German. I got the idea from a German Lab journal. I have now included more references. Unfortunately he published either in German or in Polish. Some Weblinks are in English. Please let me know if this is sufficient. It will be hard to find more resources in English.... --Thomasgl (talk) 22:13, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Sources do not have to be in English but they do need to be reliable and independent. Theroadislong (talk) 22:22, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Why is the logo being deleted but other corps' logos are allowed on the same page? Just curious and need guidance. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:A601:AF43:BA00:C580:A573:E152:E11A (talk) 00:01, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Jan Lucassen

Perhaps you did not notice that the relevant standard is WP:PROF., and that is normally met by showing the person to be influential in their subject as demonstrated by citations to their work. He fully meets the standard on the basis of hisbooks, and, after a little revision, I intend to accept the article. DGG ( talk ) 02:13, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

You are of course correct, but WP:PROF also says an article's assertion that the subject passes this guideline is not sufficient. Every topic on Wikipedia must have sources that comply with Wikipedia:Verifiability. I have never seen an article with no sources accepted, so thanks for adding sources. Defunct Argonne Rebels

I am unclear why some corps are allowed their logos to remain on the Defunct Drum Corps page, but the one from Argonne is not allowed? Can you please explain the rationale for that lack of impartiality? THANKS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Argonne73 (talkcontribs) 17:28, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

@Argonne73: I've opened discussion on those logos on whether they can be allowed to remain. Some may be below the level of originality that is necessary to be copyrighted, so they can stay as free works. —C.Fred (talk) 17:31, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Ana María Gayoso

My problem with Ana María Gayoso was not just that many of the references are to her journal articles rather than being about her, but that at least half a dozen references are to journal articles for which she is not an author. David notMD (talk) 20:48, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

I thought she had a 50% chance of passing an afd so I accepted, if you are unsure feel free to take it to WP:AFD, I see so much garbage at afc that drafts like this stand out as looking very acceptable. Theroadislong (talk) 21:01, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Brother Michael Titus Moylan

Hi, thanks for replying to me and for making it easy for me to reply to you - I find it hard going at times trying to figure out where to reply. Brother Michael Titus was the fifth Superior General of the Christian Brothers, the first being Blessed Edmund Rice. The second and third Superior Generals have their own Wiki pages. If you check the Wiki page for James Aloysius Hoare [1] who was the third Superior General you'll see that his page is supported by a Findagrave source. I also have two other sources: The Necrology of Bro M.T. Moylan [2] The Journal of the Old Tuam Society #18 [3]. I presume you can access my Sandbox. Thanks again for your time. BuffyO'B (talk) 19:58, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

Findagrave is not a reliable source for anything and cannot be used to support any notability of Michael Titus Moylan and the existence of other articles has no bearing on your draft Draft:Michael Titus Moylan see other poor quality articles exist. Hello dear Theroadislong, Thank you for reviewing this submission. This article has been rewritten several times based on the provisions of notability, reliability and independent before being submitted and its objections have been corrected according to the orders of Onel5969, Curbon7 and Worldbruce during a year. Even in the AfC Help Desk and live help with the help of editors, the text writing style was modified and redundant sentences were removed. Please see also the recently added resources.

In the field of Iranian internet businesses, Digikala is known as the Iranian Amazon and eSam is known as the Iranian eBay. There are also other examples, including Divar, which is known as Iranian Craigslist and Aparat, which is known as Iranian YouTube and many others. As important as these are, eSam is just as important as the only Iranian eBay and why it's important is pointed out. Like other simulated US platforms that have been blocked from public access due to internal filtering policies and foreign sanctions, this submission is written solely for the purpose of introducing to the other countries and nothing else.

However, I will be very pleased and grateful for your efforts if you help me to revive this submission. Ahassannezhad (talk) 08:21, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
