I was simply making this page so that players of the game Nation States who are located in the region of Dracoria could more easily access their region. And, if you still believe that this page deserved to be deleted, I would like to know hwy this page in the http format listed below isn't deleted. Heron Cross Pottery

-Duncanogi (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

May I politely propose that you review the deletion of Heron Cross Pottery. Many Staffordshire potteries:

  • Have their own Wiki pages, and
  • Were founded in the great potteries expansion period of the 19th century, and
  • Were and are successful, and
  • Are active now.

I have listed a dozen or so potteries that satisfy these criteria on the Staffordshire Potteries page. I suspect there are other Wikipedia pages for such potteries.

I feel that Heron Cross Pottery should be reinstated as it was established in the 1870s, has an interesting history, and is still active 125 years later. It is unclear to me why some potteries should have pages and others not.Duncanogi (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

linked from SRT page. This tuner is world renowned and recognised and has recently become the first to tune a street legal scooter to do over 100mph (101mph to be exact) from a standing start over 1/4 mile drag-sprint. They are well known and becoming a part of history in the scooter scene and deserve recognition. This is not intended as promotional, as there is plenty about them available on the internet, but just to clarify when people search for SRT that this is what they are often searching for. The original article was a speedy deletion, with no course of redress other than because it was about a company, but there are plenty of wiki pages describing other successful companies. It 'looks' like a school paper? Deletionists with no academic credentials in the field. What a ridiculously conservative stance for the people's encyclopedia. In fact 'Toddst1' your article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ansar_al-Jihad_al-Alami is based on news articles and bogus sources whereas this article is actually researched. Since when did Wikipedia prefer easily accessible faff to legitimate academic sources? That's the difference between making Wikipedia an ENCYCLOPEDIA and any other google search.Twyn3161 (talk) 02:58, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Ansar_al-Jihad_al-Alami is not my article (I don't WP:OWN any) and more importantly there is no original resarch in that article.

Ateret Yerushalayim

The page was deleted with the stated reason being "Non-notable Yeshiva program, not clear if it's part of another Yeshiva or independent. Location can't be found in 3rd party sources.".

I have to object to this because Ateret Yerushalayim, otherwise known as AJ, is an independent program, having no affiliations with any other Yeshivas or programs. Furthermore, it is just as 'notable' as several other Yeshivas that have their own Wikipedia pages, such as Eretz HaTzvi, Lev Hatorah, Netiv Aryeh etc.

Furthermore, I'm fairly sure I provided a link to the Yeshiva's (active) websites (http://ajstaff.posterous.com/ ; http://ateret.org/photos/index.php) which should qualify as a 3rd party sources. Ezzi386 (talk) 14:20, 18 July 2011 (UTC) -Ezzi386 (talk) 14:20, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Question ... how would either of those two websites be considered to be third party, reliable sources when they appear to be directly associated with the subject? I mean, ateret.org is their own website, right? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 14:41, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
A fair point. See the below three 3rd party websites that should qualify as both independent, and reliable: http://www.masaisrael.org/Masa/English/Programs/Yeshivat+Ateret+Yerushalayim.htm http://findayeshiva.org/Yeshiva7_Ateret-Yerushalayim-Jerusalem-Eretz-Yisroel.aspx http://www.yu.edu/cjf/israel_yeshivot/page1.aspx?id=15888 Let me know if anything else is needed to undelete. Ezzi386 (talk) 20:21, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
None of these still meet the definition of reliable source? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 20:57, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
why not. One of them is a governmental organization. And honestly, do you really think I or these three sources conspired to fabricate a yeshiva? Is your real objection just a lack of notability? Ezzi386 (talk) 04:54, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Zuzana Snow

This article is related to the top model Zuzana Snow and includes many references to her work, to her clients, to her agencies and also to articles in magazines about her career, interview in "Vivre l'art" among others. I have followed all the Wikipedia rules to write this article and therefore it was already for more than two years on line on Wikipedia. This bio of this model who gets a very particular and strong image is a contribution to the fashion world history. Zuzana Snow is represented by more than ten model agencies in the world and is currently shooting for the best magazines and brands, she appeared in lots of interview and TV shows, recently she was the guest star of America Latino top model... It is also easy to find news about this model on internet and in library. For exemple: her portrait appeared recently on the cover of the French fashion book "Univers Mannequin" written by Patrice Villa and her biography can be found page 167. Not Copyright infringement. The page I created about The Lexington School included factual information about the location of the school, its mission statement, philosophy of education, and admissions information. If parts need to be rewritten to make it reflect an encyclopedia entry, I'll be happy to do that. Puffalump

Puffalumps are definitely notable! There was a short animated film made about Fisher-Price's Wild Puffalumps line that still has an article, so it's only fitting that the toy line itself has an article, too. They were popular enough in their heyday (late 1980s/early 1990s) that Fisher-Price brought them back for a little while in 2006. Googling "Puffalump" brings up fans' videos, a whole site devoted to identifying Puffalumps for collectors, as well as Puffalumps for sale. Puffalumps were popular enough that several companies made similar toys, and toy sellers often refer to any soft stuffed animal made out of parachute material as a "Puffalump" anyway. -184.7.99.12 (talk) 01:56, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

All the other 4 presenters on his tv show, History Detectives on PBS, were considered important enough to have their own articles. He is as notable in his field as they are in theirs, as evidenced by the fact that he was selected as 1 of the 4 panel members to appear in every episode of the long-running PBS series. His name appears first in the credits. It seems unreasonable to say that only 1 of the hosts of the show is unimportant and not worthy of a mention. In particular it seems remiss since he's one of the original hosts, and therefore nobody else has appeared in more episodes than he has. -108.56.219.166 (talk) 01:02, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

The page was a legitimate, fully-sourced, verifiable, biographical page about a notable living person, which had been in place for some time. I am not aware of any discussion on the article's talk page about the deletion other than the proposer's. The subject is a notable person, at least in his industry (honorary doctorate from Stevens, associate founder of Singularity University, profiled or quoted in BusinessWeek, Crains, RedHerring, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, etc.) I believe the article provided 3rd party reliable sourced references for every fact stated, was written in NPOV and was linked to from several other pages in Wikipedia. Diary of a Bad Man

Article was delete several months ago for failing to establish notability from a credible source. This is article concerns online webisodes and has attracted the attention of BBC News in July 2011 (Muslim comedian Humza Arshad becomes internet sensation ---- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14222093). Ergo, I feel that this article should be revived from the deleted pages. Opinions welcome add to the discussion. -InExcelsis DeoTalk 18:14, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Cprime-Project Management

An article about a company or a product which describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion. This page includes neutral point of view facts about our company. -CPrime-Project Management (talk) 18:19, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles concerning companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Additionally, this account has been blocked as a spamusername. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:49, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

The principle editor (User:Alecmconroy) of the page this image and the ones below were hosted on is attempting to vanish. I can respect that, but it shouldn't have an effect on a Wikiproject page. The page itself, with these images, is highly useful in demonstrating real problems with the WP:RFA system and adminship in general. Without the files, the page is considerably lacking. It appears that a page was started, and then gone. We have been told that the page for Mike Dooley is in "quarantine" and cannot be edited. We would like to have this reversed, so his page can be properly and professionally added.

Mike Dooley's BIO and history can be found on the web for verification purposes. www.tut.com He is also listed in IMDB — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ishenanigansd (talkcontribs) 13:42, 5 August 2011

can I have some valid justification of the act of censorship about diachronic (software)?

isn't this unambiguous advertising or promotion?

just explain me that.... or maybe my page doesn't works because Diachronic is still not famous? So how people can learn there are new instruments to do music? NEW instruments, I mean, not "a different kind of...", really NEW, as we italians can do.
