COI edit requests for Stash

Hi all, a few months ago Stash (company) had a lot of its content stripped out due to COI interference, and is currently a stub. Stash has hired me to work on fleshing out the article ethically and transparently with content that meets Wikipedia's standards for notability and neutrality. To that end, I've shared a few COI edit requests on the article's talk page. If anyone here would be willing to take a look and offer help or feedback, I'd tremendously appreciate it. Thank you! Mary Gaulke (talk) 03:42, 29 November 2018 (UTC)

MaryGaulke, the best thing to do is start with the talk page and request specific edits which it appears you already have. Then, you need to place {{request edit}} template on the talk page, or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard, so that they can be peer reviewed. I would suggest using the former and awaiting for a reply prior to going to the noticeboard. Give it time and if no one responds, please come back here and let someone know.
@CNMall41: Thanks for the reply! Previously on that same Talk page I did use the request edit template, but the request was rejected and I was asked to find consensus because my requests were controversial. I disagree that the requests were controversial, but that's not for me to decide, so I'm asking around here to try to get some consensus, rather than pinging the request edit queue a second time, which would likely get me the same result. Mary Gaulke (talk) 16:13, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
MaryGaulke, I am not sure what is controversial about the edits you are requesting. You should first reach out to the editor who declined the request and ask what the controversy is. It would be good to know the specific information you want added that is controversial in order for others to opine on whether is belongs in Wikipedia in or not. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:27, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
@CNMall41: Based on further discussion, my understanding is that Justlettersandnumbers takes issue with the fact that my edit request is coming from a non-neutral point of view. They also see the requests as in violation of WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Again, I disagree—particularly in the case of the stripped-down, revised requests I posted, which I genuinely believe are neutral and make the article more useful and informative—but again, that's not for me to decide. If at all possible, I'd like to have additional feedback; even if it's a rejection of my suggestions, it will inform my future work. I'm grateful for any help from anyone here. Thank you. Mary Gaulke (talk) 23:46, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
MaryGaulke, it appears that you are in discussion on the talk page and that Justlettersandnumbers is actively discussing content with you. I normally don't like to get involved at all, but will do so if no one else is reviewing your request (which is not the case here). I would suggest continuing dialogue with JLAN and if you cannot reach a consensus, you have other options such as WP:3O and WP:RFC where you can elicit opinions from a broader audience in Wikipedia. You can also use WP:COIN if you feel necessary. --CNMall41 (talk) 06:21, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
@CNMall41: Thanks! My understanding is that Justlettersandnumbers is done engaging in the discussion, so I'll try WP:3O. Thanks again for your help! Mary Gaulke (talk) 19:13, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

Hi all, this is a longshot but I've had an extremely challenging time getting a consistent response to these requests. Based on comparable articles (Mint.com, Qapital, TransferWise, You Need a Budget and Robinhood (company)), I've revised my requests, here. (Please note the editor with whom I was previously conversing has declined to respond further.) I apologize for my persistence here – it's highly atypical of me – but I truly believe this article stub could benefit from the addition of some basic information. Thanks for your time. Mary Gaulke (talk) 15:47, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

I normally step in if a regular Wikipedia reviewer requests or the COI editor is having difficulty obtaining help. In this case, it appears that editors have helped, just not provided a solution that is satisfactory to you. You should ping the other editors involved or reach out to them on their talk pages to continue the discussion. --CNMall41 (talk) 04:11, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
@CNMall41: I really appreciate your time here. To quickly recap the history of what happened: my client had a history of editing outside of Wikipedia policy, resulting in the article being gutted to stub status. Stash then reached out to me to try to go about things in a more ethical way. I proposed edits that are in line with the substance, structure, and tone of many comparable articles, with full third-party sources. These edits were rejected almost exclusively because they came from a disclosed paid editor. I then significantly reduced the scope of my requests. I received limited feedback on the revised requests, to which I replied. The second editor then also declined to engage with me further due to being too busy, and suggested that I involve a third editor. It's now been three full months since I started working on this. I can't help but think that my client would have been better off working with a black hat editor who just quietly made the changes, and I hate that. (And to be clear, I personally would never engage in undisclosed paid editing; disclosed paid editing is emotionally exhausting enough.) I don't know what else to do. I've been doing this work for five years, I believe in Wikipedia and want to protect its neutrality, and this is the single most frustrating project I've ever worked on. I am happy to pull back on client requests when they're rejected for valid reasons aligned with Wikipedia policy – I never promise definitive results to my clients – but I don't believe that's the case here. I know you owe me nothing, but I wanted to at least try to explain. I know this is an imperfect system we have here, and that paid editors are a nuisance, but I am doing my best to work within the rules and not be part of the problem. Thank you again. Mary Gaulke (talk) 21:48, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
MaryGaulke, I am sorry as I read your frustration, but I am not the one to turn to for help with that. You would be better going to WP:COIN if you have issues with the process itself. As far as the request you made, I still feel you have not exhausted your available avenues. The link you sent me does not show that Reidgreg "declined to engage with [you] further." The message was that they would not have time until the new year. Have you reached back out to them like I suggested above? I will review the request but only after you have exhausted the "edit request" process. Maybe someone else here in the project is willing but it is not the norm for me. --CNMall41 (talk) 20:20, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi there. Most editors are unpaid volunteers, and it may not be fair to place demands on them. Third opinions are meant for quick answers and advice, and that was all I could really offer. I'm just another editor and my opinion on the matter was non-binding. This has become a very busy week for me and with my present commitments it would be irresponsible for me to take on more tasks at this time. – Reidgreg (talk) 13:18, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, both. Totally understand that neither of you owe me anything – I'm just stuck in an odd position on this one. I'll try posting in COIN. Best wishes. Mary Gaulke (talk) 23:03, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Taylor (Firm)

Would someone from WP:WPCY mind taking a look at Taylor (Firm) and assessing it? It was just created and already has had most of its content WP:REVDELeted as a copyright violation. There might be some COI/Paid editing involved since the two accounts primarily editing it are also brand new WP:SPAs. Not sure if it meets WP:ORG since one of the sources seems to be some kind of Harvard Law School student project and the others might be problematic per WP:CORPDEPTH. -- Marchjuly (talk)

WikiProject Investment

Was hoping to collaborate with this project!

I'd like to invite you to join the Investment WikiProject. There are a lot of Investment related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this project can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help get this project off the ground and a few Investment pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles. Thanks!

Stemcor

Suggested new content

Hello,

I have a conflict of interest so will not edit the page directly but wanted to point the editor of this page to some recent updates from the company in order to keep the page recent and correct.

Please see below a recent article from the FT covering the companies return to profit and turnaround since the restructuring:

https://www.ft.com/content/c9e18fe8-5c0e-11e8-ad91-e01af256df68

This is also reflected on the companies own website where they have published the results.

https://www.stemcor.com/news/

In addition, the company has also appointed a new chairman, while its CEO is Steve Graf and not Julian Verden as the page states:

https://www.metalbulletin.com/Article/3809334/PEOPLE-MOVES-Stemcor-appoints-Martyn-Konig-non-executive-chairman.html

Thanks!

The Jewelry Exchange

Hello! I was wondering if WikiProject Companies would mind taking a look at my page and assessing it. I have multiple issues that need to be resolved, but I don't know how to have them resolved.

This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page: This article's tone or style may not reflect the encyclopedic tone used on Wikipedia. This article is an orphan, as no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles; try the Find link tool for suggestions. This article contains content that is written like an advertisement. This article relies too much on references to primary sources.

Change Amalgamated Bank's opening paragraph

In the current opening of the article for Amalgamated bank it says that it is the largest union owned bank, however that is no longer the case since the company went public in August of 2018. We were wondering if that could be changed and have the beginning of the article be something like "Amalgamated Bank is an American financial institution that supports sustainable organizations, progressive causes, and social justice." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.106.192.254 (talk) 21:54, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

Unobjectiveness flag on Datalogic page

Good morning everybody, I write to ask for an opinion about the flag of "content written like an advertisement" which is currently displayed on the "Datalogic" page. The page was completely re-written in the past months, and the flagged issue of promotionality has been handled several times by different users to eliminate unobjectiveness as much as possible (as reported in the Discussion page). May it be enough to do eliminate the flag, or is there anything else to be done to fit at the very best the Wikipedia content guidelines, in your opinion? Thank you all in advance, and have a nice Tuesday! --Riccardo Bigazzi (talk) 11:48, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

The tag was added by JJMC89. I would suggest asking them if they feel the issues have been addressed. I took a quick look and in my opinion is still reads like a promotional resume for the company. For instance, three of the sections (Research and development, Awards, and Product categories) are something that is best for the company website, not Wikipedia. --CNMall41 (talk) 06:58, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
Thank you a lot CNMall41, I'll work on it ASAP! --Riccardo Bigazzi (talk) 09:09, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

SkyWay Group

We could use some experienced editors over at SkyWay Group. The article has undergone a transformation over the past month to better reflect RS coverage, changing focus from the technical details of the product and proposed projects (5 February version) to primarily covering their financial dealings (24 February version). There's a lot of discussion on the talk page about scandals and various items that could be added to the article, so it would help to have a few more eyes to assess the quality of this content and develop a better structure for the article. –dlthewave ☎ 20:53, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

Dlthewave, am I reading correctly about the previous AfD? When I click on the deletion discussion from the talk page, it takes me here for the term String transport. Looks like the term was redirected into the company page so it gives the appearance that the company page previously went through AfD. I will look more tomorrow, but just at a glance I am not sure the company meets WP:NCORP (hence the reason I looked at the previous discussion to find out why it was kept). --CNMall41 (talk) 07:14, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
See the move discussion here. "String transport" is a term coined by SkyWay to describe their transportation concept, and that article covered both the company and the technology. The claims and descriptions of the technology were sourced entirely to the SkyWay website, with no secondary coverage to be found. We trimmed all of the self-sourced content and replaced it with information about their questionable financial dealings which is the only thing about the company that has been covered by reliable sources.
I don't think the deletion discussion adequately considered the fact that much of the article was self-sourced. –dlthewave ☎ 13:48, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, Dlthewave. That makes more sense now that you point things out and I see with a fresh set of eyes today. I am still not sure the company meets WP:NCORP. There is some coverage, mainly negative, but what I see boils down to routine annoucements about the company and nothing really that meets WP:CORPDEPTH. I will take a more in-depth look a little later. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:15, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
Dlthewave, just took it to AfD. Looks like a ton of edits today from SPAs and Socks. I still don't see the depth of coverage so I guess we can sort it out at AfD first. --CNMall41 (talk) 04:57, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

Question about sourcing

Hi there, I'm Lauren, an employee of Rodan+Fields. I'm interested in assisting the Wikipedia community to improve the existing Rodan + Fields article. In my suggested updates on the Rodan+Fields Talk page, I've offered Bloomberg Businessweek as a source to verify the company's revenue, but was told this source is not acceptable. Might someone take a look at this and recommend an appropriate way to verify a private company's revenue that is acceptable to Wikipedia editors? Thank you! Draft Coty, Inc. article

Resolved

Hello. Over the last few months, I've been working with Coty, Inc. to draft an updated and better-sourced Wikipedia article. I received some help from User:Fylbecatulous, but learned they are deceased, so I am hoping to get some help from another editor. I have disclosed my COI appropriately, and won't be editing the article directly. I'm looking for editors to review my proposed draft and update the live article. I'm working section by section, and so far I've submitted a request to update part of the "History" section. Are any project members willing to take a look?

Thanks for any feedback or assistance in advance. Inkian Jason (talk) 17:17, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

Inkian Jason, are you just looking for feedback or someone to implement the edits? I normally only like to be involved after someone has exhausted other avenues (such as using the edit request template). If you are just looking for feedback please let me know and I will opine. --CNMall41 (talk) 01:23, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
I am looking for someone to review my proposed text and implement the edits. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 16:11, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying. I realize the editor who reviewed previous requests is no longer with us, but why have you not used the "request edit" template? --CNMall41 (talk) 01:53, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

The requests have been answered so I am marking this section as resolved. Inkian Jason (talk) 17:13, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

"Mobil" (and Mobiloil) origin?

In the page Vacuum Oil Company it's said that the Mobil trademark born in 1899, created by Vacuum as Mobilgas. In Mobil I read that "In 1920, the company registered the name "Mobiloil" as a trademark". In an Italian 1925 magazine I read that Vacuum sells the "Gargoyle Mobiloil". Vacuum and Socony merged in 1931. There is something wrong. --Moxmarco (talk) 10:37, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

The wording in the Vacuum Oil Company page says, "It originated the Mobil trademark in 1899 (as "Mobilgas;" "Mobiloil" came later)." If I understand that correctly, the trademark "Mobile" was registered in 1899 and the trademark "Mobiloil" came later which would very well could be 1920 (I didn't check the reference on the Mobiloil page but the dates seem to line up to me). If I am not reading that correctly, let me know and I will look further. Or, maybe someone else here has a different view?? --CNMall41 (talk) 07:04, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
The problem is that Mobiloil was sold by Vacuum and not by Socony (Mobil) --Moxmarco (talk) 21:42, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Utility Warehouse - Problem with Citations

Hi,

I tried making an edit to the Utility Warehouse article by giving some information about their QUIP scheme. For my citation, I thought the best reference would be the Utility Warehouse website itself, as they have an entire web page dedicated to providing information about the scheme. However, I was unable to do this as the utilitywarehouse.co.uk domain is apparently blocked and on a blacklist with Wikipedia?

I couldn't find an alternative source to cite, but feel it would be necessary to provide a reference of some kind. What should I do?

Georgecinderfan (talk) 12:27, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Georgecinderfan, Wikipedia is based on reliable secondary sources. The company website would not be independent and therefore should not be used. If there is not another source available, then the information is likely not worth introduction into the encyclopedia. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:15, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

Requesting feedback on section within Realtor.com article

Resolved

Hello! In the past, I've worked with Wikipedia editors to improve the Realtor.com article on behalf of the website's operator, Move. I've declared my conflict of interest on both talk page, and elsewhere.

Recently, an unregistered editor added a "Social media concerns" section. I believe this is a case where a specific detail is being given much more weight in the article, compared to the reporting. I've provided detailed reasoning and shared sourcing on the article's talk page. User:SMcCandlish, who helped update the article previously, suggested I posted a note at the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard, which I did, but no one responded. He has suggested I submit a request for comment, but I thought I'd try here first to see if a WikiProject Companies member would take a look before I put a larger burden on the wider community.

Is an editor willing to review my argument, as well as sourcing, to see if the recently added content should be removed, or at least rephrasing the content and moving into the "History" section? Thanks for your consideration, Inkian Jason (talk) 17:09, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

I outlined some DUE/UNDUE arguments at the article's talk page, but corporate-focused articles aren't really my specialty, so this should probably get some WP:COMPANIES review. PS: Lest anyone have a knee-jerk reaction, it's been my experience thus far that Inkian Jason is going about fully disclosed paid editing in a very by-the-book manner, and requests unconnected editorial attention (as here) rather than making any changes that could be potentially questionable.  — SMcCandlish ☏ Âĸ đŸ˜ŧ  02:09, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, SMcCandlish. For companies, there is always a struggle between people adding WP:PROMO and others adding WP:ADVOCACY. I normally try to address anything that smells of either and try to bring it to a WP:NPOV. In this case, it looks like the start of WP:SYNTH and should simply be removed in my opinion. Comment left on the talk page. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:11, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
And yes, Inkian Jason has been "by the book" so to say. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:13, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. I have marked this request as answered. Inkian Jason (talk) 15:23, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
I've encountered this kind of issue in spirituality/religion topics a lot (in the "it's miraculous!" vs. "it's all lies by a creepy cult!" vein).  — SMcCandlish ☏ Âĸ đŸ˜ŧ  00:29, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
I bet you have. It is basically the same here except you have one side that is mad at a company because they were either shortchanged or don't agree with what they do while the other side is the company and their PR firm trying to talk about how great they are. --CNMall41 (talk) 04:41, 4 April 2019 (UTC)

A new newsletter directory is out!

A new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.

Airbnb article request

Hello! I'm Jakob and I work for Airbnb. I've created an account to suggest updates to the Wikipedia article, and I've disclosed my conflict of interest on the company article's talk page and on my profile page. I have several updates in mind, but my first request here to update the infobox's Key personnel has gone unanswered. Can someone here take a look? JK Airbnb (talk) 18:16, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

@JK Airbnb: thanks for the note, and for making the request. One other step: if you add the text string {{request edit}} when you make the request, it add a tag that will alert a broad group of editors. I took care of the tagging on this one, but that should help going forward. UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:25, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Question at Roivant Sciences

Hi all. I'd appreciate some more opinions over at Roivant Sciences. There is a sentence at the end of the intro that says "In June 2018, Roivant laid off 67 employees and reassigned 130 to subsidiaries." I've requested (as a COI editor) the following change and addition in order to add some context to the layoff and reassignments:

"In June 2018, Roivant restructured its business model, laying off 67 employees and reassigning 130 to subsidiaries. Most of the cuts were in support functions[1] including accounting, human resources, and IT[2] as Roivant decentralized its business model, moving business and operating functions to the subsidiary level." [3]

@Spintendo: replied to my request here and suggested that I get other editors involved in the discussion. I look forward to hearing from other editors and receiving assistance. Thanks FinalFrontier.003 (talk) 08:00, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

New Task Force for lists of corporate mergers and acquisitions?

Recently I did a major restructuring of List of mergers and acquisitions by Amazon, which gave me the idea that perhaps a task force should be set up to ensure these articles have the same structure, are updated periodically, and have enough references. Would anybody else be interested in participating in such a task force? CoolieCoolster (talk) 14:49, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

I am not sure if a task force is necessary (would wait to see what others think), but I am more than willing to help on any of these that need cleaned up. --CNMall41 (talk) 23:59, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Also willing to help, with two added notes: only notable acquired companies should be listed, and articles of acquired companies should also be put in the appropriate "yyyy mergers and acquisitions" category. UnitedStatesian (talk) 00:17, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
Just a quick question. Are you saying only "notable acquisitions" (those that receive a fair amount of press about the aquisition or "acquisitions of companies that are notable" (companies that would likely qualify for a Wikipedia page if they have one or not)? --CNMall41 (talk) 03:12, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
I don't know what they mean by "notable" in this situation, however, I have followed a policy of not counting any companies that I cannot find at least one reliable source for, preferably near the date of the acquisition, and preferably having at least two or three reliable sources, especially in the case of more notable acquisitions. I have also not included companies when sources only mention employees of that company being "Acqui-hired" by another company, with no evidence of an actual acquisition having occurred. As long as I could find sufficient and reliable sources for an acquisition though, I attempted to make the Amazon list of acquisitions as complete as possible. CoolieCoolster (talk) 19:08, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
That's why I am asking for clarification. I believe (although I won't assume) this is to keep spammers away from adding irrelevant companies. I have no problem adding companies to the list as long as there is a reliable secondary source that covers the merger/acquisition. When including such a company, I then create a redirect from the name so it is helpful to the readers. However, we need more than a general announcement. The references I normally look for not only discuss the acquisition, but also talks in-depth about what the company does and how the new company plans to use the acquisition (dissolve, rebrand, etc.). Just my opinion though. I am only one of many here. --CNMall41 (talk) 15:18, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

Are historical financial results not put in articles?

Zoro Tools Update

I'm on the brand team at Zoro Tools (now just Zoro.com) and would like to have an editor visit our updated homepage/website to help bring some of the information on wiki page up to date - new logo, brand name, company description (on our "About Us" page on our website). Our company originally only sold tools, but now we carry much more - around 2.5 million products for any business needs. Tools, supplies, parts, open signs, candy for the lobby. If you run a business, we carry what you need. I can be reached for any questions via company e-mail - Len.Stewart@zoro.com

Thank you! Lstewart1971 (talk) 19:02, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Len Stewart, Senior Brand Manager, Zoro.com

I left a welcome message on your talk page with more information, but the proper way to do this is request edits on the talk page. Please read through WP:COI and WP:PAID for the proper procedures. Good luck. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:39, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Improving Actuant

We can all think together and share our thoughts. I will be providing Actuant and other people from the internet about new ideas that I have in my mind. These ideas might helpful for Actuant and so many other people. A successful way to convince people that your ideas are going to be beneficial is to write a professional technical report. In that way, everything you explain looks clear and helpful.

Same as above. I left a welcome message on your talk page with more information, but the proper way to do this is request edits on the talk page. Please read through WP:COI and WP:PAID for the proper procedures. Good luck. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:41, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

I recently created the above section. I'm looking for help expanding it and for feedback about it. Thanks. --Puzzledvegetable (talk) 17:19, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

Puzzledvegetable, we try to avoid these sections per WP:CRIT. What you have in that section can easily be added to the products or the division sections which discuss the specific product. Also make sure to keep WP:UNDUE in mind so as not to make the page a sounding piece for those who don't like company. Assign appropriate weight to what is reported about the company in WP:RSes. --CNMall41 (talk) 05:53, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Use of Architectural Digest at Talk:Marmol Radziner

Is use of a particular source for 14 out of 46 references in an article excessive reliance on a single source? Another voice that can lend to the discussion at Talk:Marmol Radziner would be helpful. Cheers! bd2412 T 02:31, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

BD2412, I think the use of a single "reference" 14/46 would be excessive; however, the use of a "source" 14/46 would unlikely be excessive depending on how it is used. I don't see any reference used more than twice. If the majority of the page was cited to a single reference, there would be cause for concern but I don't see an issue with this as long as the source itself is reliable. That would be the same as if the page cited several different article from The New York Times in the same manner. --CNMall41 (talk) 03:55, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Up for deletion Commuter Cars

Find sources: Google (books ¡ news ¡ scholar ¡ free images ¡ WP refs) ¡ FENS ¡ JSTOR ¡ TWL

Arguably a notable company. Sources in Time Magazine, CNN Money and a blurb in Bloomberg. I spent some time trying to develop the categories and improve the refs. Perhaps more refs can be located. Should be considered in conjunction with Commuter Cars Tango. I have improved the reference formatting on the latter article, but it would be improved by moving some of the "References" to in line citations. I also improved the formatting of the reference in this article Commuter Cars. In any event, between the two articles, there is plenty to satisfy WP:GNG. Willmott Dixon Updates

Hi, I am new to editing Wikipedia, I am an employee of Willmott Dixon and want to make some updates to the page due to old info being displayed on there. I think I have submitted a draft for your review - please could you take a look and see if the wording is ok? I also need to update the company logo as the one on the page is old. I uploaded that as a file but it has been reverted back.

Thanks Hannah.fuller1 (talk) 08:40, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Hannah.fuller1, please refer to WP:PAID and make the proper disclosure on your user page. After that, you can request edits on the talk page of the article by using the instructions found at WP:COIREQ. --CNMall41 (talk) 04:38, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Could someone from this WikiProject take a look at this article? It's a stub and maybe the company meets WP:NORG, but there's a declared PAID editor who's recently showed up to start editing/updating it. The editor appears to be at least trying to do this in accordance with WP:COI and WP:PAID, but the recent addition of content about the company's "mission statement" as a minor edit might not be a good sign of things to come. Perhaps someone more familiar with these articles could help "guide" this editor along? -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:15, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Marchjuly, I have it on my watchlist. Looks like you did a good job of trimming what needed to be. If I get some time later in the week I may clean it up a little bit. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:38, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

Resideo company page

I am employed by a communications firm, and I have been working since May 2019 to improve a draft of an article for a client, Resideo, a public company operating in the smart-home technologies marketplace. It spun off from Honeywell in October 2018. In response to feedback from Wikipedia reviewers on previous drafts, I have made improvements on sourcing and, I believe, I have removed all promotional language that may have been biased. I researched other company pages created as a result of spin offs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Corporate_spin-offs) and used them as inspiration for the Resideo article structure. Before I resubmit this for approval, I am planning to add an Infobox, but I would appreciate any other feedback that would further improve the article or any comments you have on the subject's notability. I understand I am working in a conflict of interest/paid editing situation, which is why I am seeking help from the community. Here is a link to review it in the draft space: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Resideo Thank you. Nellie04 (talk) 01:47, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Nellie04, first, thanks for your transparency. It looks like you are in the right forum with AfC and have submitted the draft at least two prior time. I would recommend focusing on WP:ORGCRIT and not other articles in Wikipedia. While they may give you a guide on formatting, many articles on Wikipedia have issues and if you follow those issues you could wind up not have a draft that complies with guidelines. Focus on the ORGCRIT guideline to ensure you have references that establish notability. Once you do, feel free to resubmit through AfC. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:43, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
CNMall41, thank you for your recommendation to focus on the ORGCRIT guidelines. After reading through them, I conducted a citation assessment on each of the Resideo article’s 21 sources. I removed two that did not meet the “significant coverage” guideline. Here is a summary of the remaining 19 sources. All 19 are independent, third-party sources where Resideo is the focus of each article, demonstrating significant coverage. Newsguard highly rates 11 of the 19 sources for transparency and credibility; the others have yet to be reviewed. After conducting this assessment, I believe the article meets all Wikipedia publication parameters. Before I submit through AfC, do you have any further recommendations for improvement? Thanks. Nellie04 (talk) 19:02, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
I don't see anything that jumps out at me. Of course it will need to be reviewed so feel free to submit it again. Good luck. --CNMall41 (talk) 15:24, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
Thanks. I submitted it this morning. I'll let you know how it goes. Nellie04 (talk) 18:11, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Advice on Cannae Holdings

Hi -- I was working today on the first company article I've attempted, and I wanted to ask someone to take a look before I publish. This is my draft about Cannae Holdings Inc (logo commented out in user space). Not being very experienced in the corporate space, I have a few questions:

  • Cannae's website says they own large portions of well-known companies, such as Colt's Manufacturing Company. But I can't find much else that says so. Is their website sufficient?
  • It seems that the founder of Cannae, William P. Foley II, also plays a large role in Fidelity National Financial, which some sources also say own similar companies as Cannae. I can't tell if one of these holding companies owns the other, or if they are separate, or what.
  • I cited only a couple sources that I'm not sure are sufficient.

Thank you, and I hope to hear back. -- Cloud atlas (talk) 19:56, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

Pinging CNMall41, UnitedStatesian, and Dormskirk, since I see that you are active in this project. Would any of you be willing to take a look and let me know what you think? Thank you. -- Cloud atlas (talk) 00:53, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
Hi - Your existing work looks fine. My understanding is that Cannae Holdings has an interest in Colt Holding (which itself owns Colt's Manufacturing Company). I suggest you use Cannae's Form 10-K, "Description of Business" as a reference. I hope this helps. Dormskirk (talk) 10:32, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
You will need to include references that meet WP:ORGCRIT. Being publicly traded doesn't guarantee notability for Wikipedia. The 10K can only be used for limited citing so I recommend adding a few references that show how the company is notable. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:36, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
  • I've added a handful of sources to consider for content expansion to the talk page of the article. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 04:19, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool

Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.

We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

IWG Plc company page

I am employed by IWG plc, and I have been working since the beginning of October 2019 to improve a draft of the IWG plc article for accuracy and completeness.

In response to feedback from Wikipedia editors on Talk:IWG, I corrected inaccuracies and, with the help of editors, removed all promotional language. However, as a paid editor, it is not my place to add more information to the article about IWG and its companies, as it could naturally be perceived as "marketing."

This is why I am seeking help from the community. I would like to flag that the IWG plc article is incomplete and lacking a lot of information about the company's 30-year presence in 120 countries. Moreover, it has a low quality grade (C-Class) and has not as yet received a rating on the project's importance scale.

It would be great to have the support of some committed researchers as part of the Wikipedia community to see if we can make the page more complete.

Thanks for reading this far! --KatherineBusby2019 (talk) 12:37, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Predecessors in Template:Infobox Company

I have concerns. The example I am looking at is Oracle Corporation:

  • I take the predecessor of a company to the be previous companies coming together to form a new company under a new name, for example the British Railways being formed from the LMS+LNER+SR+GWR (there may be some more complex use cases, such Great Southern Railways, but the principal broadly holds. However I do not see it as a list of company acquisitions as seems to be the case at Oracle Corporation who I believe had no predecessor company at the time of formation.
  • If there is no predecessor company the company article cannot be stopped from being usurped by Wikidata overriding P155.

Redirection of RARE

Since multiple have already tried to redirect this page to the gaming company Rare (company), and I agree that this is appropriate as they spelled their name RARE and it seems obvious that anyone searching for capital RARE is looking for the company, should we go ahead with this or keep the redirect at its current target (the disambiguation page for Rare)? --37KZ (talk) 18:20, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

New bot to remove completed infobox requests

Hello! I have recently created a bot to remove completed infobox requests and am sending this message to WikiProject Companies since the project currently has a backlogged infobox request category. Details about the task can be found at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/PearBOT 2, but in short it removes all infobox requests from articles with an infobox, once a week. To sign up, reply with {{ping|Trialpears}} and tell me if any special considerations are required for the Wikiproject. For example: if only a specific infobox should be detected, such as {{infobox journal}} for WikiProject Academic Journals; or if an irregularly named infobox such as {{starbox begin}} should be detected. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Sent on behalf of Trialpears (talk) via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:34, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

@Trialpears:, I am only one person to opine but I think this is a great tool. I worked on infoboxes for a long time and we are severely backlogs still. I don't have any special requests and would say to go ahead and implement it unless anyone else on the project has objections. Thanks!!--CNMall41 (talk) 22:02, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

Nationality of UK-based companies

Hello everyone. The following regards a recurring issue at Rockstar North, a video game development company based in Scotland, and similar articles. The article presently lists it as a "British" company, but this is frequently changed to "Scottish" based on the company's physical location. Some of those in favour of "Scottish" have cited WP:UKNATIONALS, an essay about what nationality UK nationals (though not companies) should be referred to by. On the other hand, I argued that "British" is correct given the company being registered with and operated under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom. There does not appear to be a formal guideline or prior consensus for this issue, but I would like to seek the latter to settle this issue. Lordtobi (✉) 14:08, 30 December 2019 (UTC)

People and Products

Is this Wikiproject also about people who have connections to companies and products or is it exclusively about companies? If it is just about companies, it should be mentioned in the "scope" section that people and products aren't included in it or at least say somewhere that it is exclusively about companies. As there currently is a lot of articles related to both people and products in the various article lists. So, I don't think people are getting that its a project exclusively for companies if it is. --Adamant1 (talk) 23:03, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Seeking Consensus re: Edit Request on GM Defense Page

NOTE: I am submitting this question FleishmanHillard on behalf of GM Defense LLC. I am a paid editor and aware of the COI guidelines.

I am submitting this question to the project that governs the GM Defense page at the suggestion of COI editor Spintendo following an edit request we submitted to its Talk page on Feb. 14, 2020. Our goal is to update the page with accurate information regarding the current incarnation of the company (now named GM Defense LLC) and also help address the flags on the page regarding verification, etc.

Because our revised copy incorporated a citation in the lead – which as Spintendo pointed out, does not follow MOS:CITELEAD – we were asked to gain consensus on that suggested change first before proceeding with a specific edit request.

For reference, below is the proposed lead that would replace the existing lead on the page:

GM Defense LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors established in October 2017 focused on reimagining advanced automotive technologies for the defense, aerospace and security markets.[1]

If helpful for discussion, the full text of our edit request is below. Please let me know if it’s recommended we pursue an alternate route to seek consensus, such as an RfC. Thank you for your time and consideration! Jon Gray (talk) 14:47, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

Extended content

Company Name

  • The previous incarnation of GM Defense was sold to General Dynamics in 2002. [2] GM Defense LLC was launched in 2017.[3] As GM Defense LLC is the official name of the new company, we proposed updating all mentions of the company name in the article accordingly.

General Information

  • The current introductory section, which reads as follows, is outdated and lacking sources in several areas:

GM Defense is a division of General Motors providing military products.

GM Defense is the military product division of General Motors focusing on the defense industry needs with hydrogen fuel cell and other advanced mobility technologies. GM Defense projects include SURUS (Silent Utility Rover Universal Superstructure) an autonomous modular platform joint project with the United States Army.

ZH2 are modified Chevrolet medium and full size pickups modified for military needs. The ZH2, fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell and electric drive, has a stealthy drive system which produces a very low smoke, noise, odor and thermal signature. This allows soldiers to conduct silent watch and silent mobility missions on the battlefield.

General Motors, the Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory are cooperating to incorporate automotive hydrogen fuel cell systems into the next generation of Navy unmanned undersea vehicles, or UUVs. Hydrogen fuel cell technology could augment ships and subs on patrol.

To bring this introductory overview current, we propose replacing the copy above with the updated and sourced information below:

GM Defense LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors established in October 2017 focused on reimagining advanced automotive technologies for the defense, aerospace and security markets.[4]

GM Defense LLC develops solutions leveraging emerging technologies such as lithium-ion batteries and hydrogen fuel cell systems for land and underwater vehicles [5] and both stationary [6]and mobile power generation.[7]

The company also develops telematics[8] and cybersecurity systems,[9] as well as vehicle platforms and propulsion systems based on diesel [10] and gasoline-powered engines[11] and hybrid powertrains.[12]

GM Defense LLC vehicle projects include the Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV), the Chevrolet ZH2 hydrogen fuel cell vehicle developed and tested with the US Army, [13] and SURUS (Silent Utility Rover Universal Superstructure), an autonomous modular platform concept.[14]

The company named David Albritton, a Navy veteran and the company’s former executive director of product development and international communications, president of the company in December 2018. [15]

In August 2019, GM Defense LLC received a $1 million-dollar contract from the United States Army to develop two Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) prototypes.[16][17] GM Defense’s ISV is based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 architecture, which leverages 70 percent commercial off-the-shelf components. [18]

Like the ISV, the ZH2 was also based on the mid-size Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.[19] The ZH2, fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell and electric drive, produces no toxic emissions and has a minimal noise or thermal signature, enabling nearly silent watch and silent mobility missions on the battlefield. [20]

The company is also working with the Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory to incorporate automotive hydrogen fuel cell systems into the next generation of Navy unmanned undersea vehicles, or UUVs. Hydrogen fuel cell technology could augment ships and subs on patrol. [21] [22]

Current Projects

  • The existing Current Projects section contains outdated information that dates back to the previous incarnation of GM Defense referenced above. We propose replacing the existing table with the following (sourcing included within as well):
Model Type Notes
Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) Military truck Nine-passenger, helicopter-transportable light military vehicle based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 [23] utilizing 70 percent commercial off-the-shelf parts. [24] In June, 2019, the U.S. Army awarded a $1 million contract to GM Defense to develop two ISV prototypes for testing and evaluation.[25] A production and deployment contract award decision is expected in 2020.
Chevrolet Colorado ZH2 (Concept) Military truck Extreme off-road-capable hydrogen fuel-cell/battery electric concept vehicle based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The Colorado ZH2 is the product of a joint venture between GM and TARDEC—the U.S. Army’s Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center.[26]
SURUS - Silent Utility Rover Universal Super Structure (Concept) Modular military platform GM concept vehicle developed to demonstrate “the art of the possible” / potential of hydrogen fuel cells, autonomous driving and other technologies. [27]
UUV Unmanned Underwater Vehicle A partnership with General Motors and the Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory to demonstrate utility of hydrogen fuel cell systems in unmanned undersea vehicles, or UUVs.[28]

History

  • The current line under the History section refers to the aforementioned sale of the original GM Defense to General Dynamics. To add additional context to the company’s history and incorporate verification/sourcing, we propose removing the following copy:

The original GM Defense (founded in 1950) organization and acquired by General Dynamics in 2003 and became part of the General Dynamics Land Systems division.

And replacing with this updated information:

General Motors founded a defense business named General Motors Defense in 1950, developing a series of military vehicles over five decades before selling the operation to General Dynamics in 2003, where it became part of the General Dynamics Land Systems division.[29] [30]

Previous Products

  • Propose removing the current Wikitable due to information being outdated and unsourced. In its place, we recommend retaining the following line (with verification):

With the sale to General Dynamics, only GM Defense’s Stryker product lines are still in production.[31]

Facilities

  • Outdated and unsourced list of facilities operated by the previous incarnation of GM Defense; recommend list for removal.

Clients

  • The previous incarnation of GM Defense provided vehicles and turret systems to the Canadian Forces, Romanian Land Forces and New Zealand Army [32], however, GM Defense LLC does not. As such, we recommend revising client list to only retain US Marine Corps, US Army, US Navy and US Air Force.

How Much Criticism Is Too Much?

I did a rewrite on Shoney's and someone has added a bunch of information back to the article about a lawsuit. I am wondering how much criticism such as lawsuits is acceptable for company articles? The text is many paragraphs long about a single lawsuit. Maybe it is too much and maybe it is too little. I am not as experienced as some people here so would like some feedback prior to editing the article again. --Titanchowder (talk) 03:23, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

  • Hi, Titanchowder, I copied this over to the talk page for Shoney's as that is the location where it should be discussed. I will say to check WP:CSECTION and WP:WEIGHT as these are the two I believe would best govern the discussion. --CNMall41 (talk) 23:50, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
Thank you. So I guess I just wait for people to discuss correct?--Titanchowder (talk) 02:43, 28 February 2020 (UTC)

Proposed Syncsort update at Pitney Bowes

Resolved

Hello! I've proposed updating language related to Syncsort within the Pitney Bowes article at Talk:Pitney_Bowes#Syncsort. The current text is factually accurate but does not confirm the acquisition's completion and uses less than ideal sourcing. I'm submitting this request on behalf of Pitney Bowes, and I'm seeking assistance from editors to review this request and update the article on my behalf. Might someone watching this page be willing to help?

Proposed Merger

Hello. I work for Executive Writing, and as part of my consultancy, I work with United Talent Agency. I am hoping someone will be willing to take a look at the N.S. Bienstock page to help determine if it should be merged to direct readers to the United Talent Agency page. United Talent Agency’s acquisition of N.S. Bienstock was widely reported in the press when it occurred in early 2014. This acquisition is already referenced and sourced on the United Talent Agency page. You can see coverage of the initial acquisition here. THE N.S. Bienstock brand has since retired and is known now as UTA News & Broadcasting. This, too, is noted on the UTA page. Additionally, the N.S. Bienstock brand retirement can be documented by the fact that the entity no longer has an independent website. I believe the N.S. Bienstock page should be merged and simply refer readers to the United Talent Agency page, which already reflects the retirement of the NSB/shift to UTA News & Broadcast, but am looking for guidance from editors. I believe I've disclosed my conflict of interest appropriately. Thank you in advance for your help. EWChristine (talk) 18:19, 30 March 2020 (UTC)EW Christine

Comtrade group company wiki page

Hi, I am Comtrade group's employee, and I will be dedicated to arranging an article about our Company. Can I kindly ask you for few things: 1. examples we should have an eye on, 2. and advice: is it better to start a new article in my sandbox and then transfer it after your approval, or working directly on existing article? Article badly needed on Silicon Valley culture

An article on the work culture of Silicon Valley, possibly titled Silicon Valley culture or possibly Culture of technology companies or something, is very badly needed. We don't currently have anything like it at Silicon Valley#Culture or Culture of San Francisco, both of which just talk about museums and such, nor is there any article linked at places it should be, such as Organizational culture and Silicon Valley (TV series). Companies manufacturing Cirrus aero engines

The article at ADC Cirrus lists about half a dozen companies which manufactured one or more aero engines in this family over a 30-year period. Currently the ADC, Cirrus Aero Engines and Blackburn Aircraft companies have their own articles, of which the Cirrus Aero Engines article adds nothing new. Three other dedicated companies (one owned by Blackburn but operated independently) have no separate article. (For more background, see this discussion). I am not familiar with this project's guidelines and consensus practices. Guidance needed on how to establish notability of company

Hi, my article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Scantrust has been declined for lack of notability. I had exchanges with reviewers in the Teahouse(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Teahouse#Article_declined_for_lack_of_notability), and they consider that the articles that I indicated as being the ones who most contribute to notability, are based on interviews. However, a Wikipedia essay on notability says that "commentary added to interviews by a publication can sometimes count as secondary-source material", which is generally the case here.

At this point I am not sure if I should keep trying to make a case for notability, and how I should approach this. One approach would be to suggest a different set of sources to indicate notability that are not transparently based on interviews.

Would someone be able to help me here? I am not sure what to do next.

Please note that I have a COI that is fully disclosed on the article page, but this should not affect the evaluation of notability.

Many thanks, Factfox (talk) 12:34, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

KOG Games situation

Good day everyone. I'm an independent hobbyist editor, and i've recently drawn my attention to the KOG Games page. Currently, it's a mixed jumble of KOG Studios, the South Korean developer, and KOG Games, its american subsidiary, and seemingly linked to WikiProject Companies. I'd be interested to hear some input about this - Would a seperation be better? Or transferring what matters about KOG Games to a new "KOG Studios" page? More on the Talk:KOG Games page. Best regards, GameOver2017 (talk) 19:06, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

The article seems to be only about the American subsid, with just a few mentions of the SK entity. If the SK entity is not notable on its own, a split is not justified, as it would just create another stub. Looking at the article in its current state, I don't even think that KOG Games is notable; there are only two reliable sources (IGN, Inven), of which both are churnalism with no actual significant coverage. I might be able to properly look for sources tomorrow, although a quick glance does not raise any hopes. WP:VG/RS has a list of reliable sources for video games you may want to check out, too. Yet, deletion should still be considered a possible solution to your issue. Regards, IceWelder [✉] 20:55, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the response. I'm not very familiar with notability, so I'm not entirely sure how to estabilish the notability about a game developer. Should I look for coverage about their games or the company itself? I'd like to add what I know from my research: There isn't much coverage about KOG as a company, since the peak of popularity of their games was in the late 2000's, which makes sources sparce, and their games were published by 8 different companies across the pacific, each in different countries. KOG Games, on the other hand, is more recent and is based in America, but most coverage about it is about cancelled american ports of KOG's games, from unreliable sources like MMORPG. Besides, it completely skips over Grand Chase, which was KOG's most popular title. In what direction should the article proceed? Thank you for time. GameOver2017 (talk) 23:14, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
Yes, there should decent coverage the company as a company, not just passing mentions of the name when its games are discussed. See also WP:GNG and WP:NCORP. I checked around but couldn't find anything substantial on either topic in reliable sources apart from news bits about the acquisition/rebranding from Kill3rCombo to KOG Games, so deletion (WP:AFD) would be justified. The Brand Laureate Awards -- are they independent/reliable?

I'm working on cleaning up the promotional nature of XOX right now. The award section has "The Brand Laureate" listed a couple of times, and it seems like to nominate a company it costs around $230 US dollars (RM 1000). Would this be considered a non-significant award, since it is a partially paid process? Should this type of award be included in articles? I'd appreciate anyone's input. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:26, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

YouTeam wiki page

Hi WikiProject Companies,

Straight ahead I want to make it clear that I (@ShevchukSS) work on YouTeam. But I have no intention of posting a promo article about this company. Let me explain the situation.

I was researching Y Combinator startups and found this List of Y Combinator startups on Wikipedia. I was surprised that not all the startups that completed the Y Combinator Accelerator program are listed there, and I thought that it can be misguiding. I tried to make an edit and added startups of the same batch with YouTeam that were not listed (including YouTeam)[1]. But my edits were not accepted because there were no wiki pages of these startups. So my logical reaction was a creation of the YouTeam wiki page (so it could be added to this list).

But the YouTeam wiki page was also deleted because of the COI. Fair enough, I didn't ad a notice about my connection with the company. But I didn't do it just because I didn't know about this at that time.

So now I want to make everything right.

- I want to ask for your permission and help to create a wiki page for YouTeam which is a Y Combinator startup and deserves to be in the list of YC startups.

- I created a draft of the page which could be used as a starting point.

- I tried to keep a neutral point of view and used only facts that could be proved by reliable sources. (But maybe the more experienced editor will help to improve the wording.)

- I structured it the same way as were structured many startup wiki pages from the list (tried to follow advice to make it similar to content that was accepted to Wikipedia).

- As was recommended, I suggested adding a YouTeam wiki page on the Wikipedia:Requested articles (check on the Y - YouTeam)

- I made a note about my connection to the company on my user page.

- And now I'm writing to you.

I hope you can help me to make it happen. I don't want to add any promotional part to this page, but I believe that as an informational piece of content it can exist.

Would appreciate your help and advice. --ShevchukSS (talk) 19:38, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

I contact you to react to the Wikipedia article about Quintana Roo ( Company ) USA https://en.wikipedia.org wiki Quintana_roo

Northvolt

I was looking for information about this company and noticed that the relative article was removed (twice) from NS0 due to alleged promotional tones and suspect paid editing. However, the current edition (Draft:Northvolt) seems to me absolutely fine. Before moving the page to NS0 again I'd be glad to gather opinions from other users. Help with company article

Hello everyone,

I've drafted an article for the company I work for, Draft:Wejo, which is waiting for review. I've tried to the best of my ability to follow the advice from other users in terms of keeping to the blatant advertising guidelines and stating my relationship with the company.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Multiple false statements about counterfeit goods

I work for Supreme (brand), the clothing and skateboarding brand. Multiple false and deceptive statements have been added to Supreme (brand)#Lawsuits to deceive readers into buying counterfeit "Supreme"-branded goods. I have posted a request that independent editors review Talk proposals for corrections and updates atTalk:Supreme (brand)#Multiple false statements about counterfeit_goods Since this is potentially a contentious matter, it is outside the purview of the “Request Edit” queue and I thought members of this project might be interested in doing a review. Products section for 3M article

Hello! On behalf of 3M (and as disclosed on the article's talk page), I've submitted a request to add a brief and neutral summary of the company's products here: Talk:3M#Products_and_patents. Currently, the introduction mentions a few 3M products manufactured, but sourced by The Motley Fool and 3M's website. I've drafted an overview, separated by segment, using The Washington Post, CNBC, CNN, and the Star Tribune as sources, and I've made sure no specific brand names are mentioned by name. Can someone please review the request and update the page on my behalf? Thanks! CB at 3M (talk) 19:34, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Help improving quality of company draft

Hello everyone, Goldmund draft page was declined: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Goldmund I've edited it since with the recommendations of the reviewer, but could anyone help me with improving it further? I've read the guidelines on references, etc., but I am not sure if everything is ok now. Also, I see that pages from other companies (ex: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devialet) are public and display a "promotional" banner. Can anyone advise why some pages that are written as advertising are accepted and others get declined although the tone is more neutral? N.S. Bienstock

I work for Executive Writing, and as part of my consultancy, I work with United Talent Agency. I am hoping an editor would be willing to change the N.S. Bienstock page to reflect that the company was acquired by United Talent Agency in 2014, which can be sourced here 1. I would suggest putting the article in past tense to recognize that N.S. Bienstock is no longer a company and has been folded into UTA. Additionally, the page has some grammatical errors that an editor might be interested in reviewing. I will not make any changes to the page. EWChristine (talk) 19:48, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Essilor and Varilux still heavily contaminated by 2009 promotional editing

Details at Talk:Essilor#Spam-edits in 2009 still dominate Essilor and Varilux, also in the history of the redirect at Crizal and an identical report at Talk:Varilux##Spam-edits in 2009 still dominate Essilor and Varilux, also in the history of the redirect at Crizal. It looks like at least one other editor may be doing promotional edits to Essilor and other companies as well (contributions).

Translated and well-sourced article. Could it be moved into the mainspace?

Hi everyone, I have submitted (here) a translated version from the Italian version of the article about Mutti Spa: the Italian company specialized in preserved food in the tomato sector, founded in 1899. If you agree as well, I would move it into the mainspace. The only thing missing is the logo which, I think, has to be added once the article is published. The article seems to me well-sourced. Furthermore, the company is 121 years old and present in 97 countries. What do you think? Michele Laterza83 (talk) 07:55, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Separate MDA Corporation from Maxar Technologies

As of April 8th, 2020, the sale the MDA assets by Maxar Technologies (NYSE:MAXR)(TSX:MAXR) to a consortium led by Toronto-based investment firm Northern Private Capital (NPC) has officially closed. This marks the return of MDA to Canadian control as a private, independent company. As such, the MDA portion is now called "MDA Corporation" and I believe that the references to MDA that currently point to the "Maxar Technologies" page should be updated to a new "MDA Corporation" page accordingly. These include links from the pages for "Spar Aerospace", "MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates", "MDA Corporation" and perhaps other references. I have added to a similar proposal on the Maxar Technologies talk page as well. How do we move this forward? Brantzmyers (talk) 20:38, 26 October 2020 (UTC) I have changed the redirect to become a new page for "MDA Corporation". It is in its infancy and needs a lot of work, but its a start. Seeking Update Assistance for "Mastiff (Company)"

Greetings,

I am affiliated with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastiff_(company). As such, I am unable to directly edit the page due to a perceived conflict of interest. However, I would love to work with someone to properly update this company page as it is highly outdated and pretty sparse on information.

Updates to the page would include:

â€ĸ The addition of an updated company logo: can be downloaded HERE

â€ĸ The addition of several new product (game) releases: a display of our current/recent releases can be found on our company site at https://mastiff-games.com/games/ and here are the titles that need to be added:

Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure (Nintendo 3DS), Party Planet (Nintendo Switch), Arcade Island: Volume One (Xbox One, PlayStation 4), Heavy Fire: Red Shadow (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR), Home Sweet Home (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR), Fight Crab (Nintendo Switch)

â€ĸ Update to company team members: David Bridgham can be removed from key members

â€ĸ The addition of company history: would likely need to speak with someone in greater detail about this or we can provide text.

I have never made a Wikipedia request, so please forgive me if this is not the correct format or location.

DavidBMastiff (talk) 17:58, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

This page needs some dep-puffery. The sections needing work are marked for cleanup.

Also, there is a paid editor, Mayariebel, who is going to be requesting some changes. Please read the talk page starting with the 30 December 2020 thread Talk:Imerys § I've trimmed some unnecessary detail but more needs to be done, as I've asked her to cancel and re-do her earlier edit requests.

The end goal is to make the article up-to-date, add any encyclopedic information from the company's 140-year history if there is any, while at the same time removing existing non-encyclopedic material and re-doing things that are in a non-encyclopedic tone and keep it out. Right now it's nominally start-class, but after a little de-puffery it could probably be C-class in short order. It would be fantastic if it wound up "B-class" or better when all is said and done.

I don't have a lot of time to devote to this which is why I'm asking for help. That, and when it comes to what will likely be ongoing COI-edit-requests, several experienced editors watching the article are much better than just one. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 18:54, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I'm one of the CIO editors. I've re-written the edit requests as was asked, in the Imerys Talk page. Some sections that are still waiting to be published: Talk:Imerys § Proposed changes: Adding more information to History section and Talk:Imerys § Proposed changes: Adding a subsection on mineral applications. I also made some changes to the sections "Initiatives for sustainability", "Innovations & awards" and "Imerys Talc America worker lockout" to reflect a more encyclopedic tone, doing my best to avoid any promotional content. Admittedly, some of these exist as edit requests in the Talk Page (content is identical), so if these changes are satisfactory, those requests could be closed. I'd really appreciate it if some editors could review these sections and remove the template messages about tone! MayaVR (talk) 17:39, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

Wibbitz page approval

Hello! I was referred to this page by @Davidwr. In summary, I am a paid editor who wrote a draft article entry for the company that I work for (Wibbitz). The article was denied because the topic (Wibbitz) was not deemed notable enough for it to be published on Wikipedia. However, many of our competitors are already listed (Animoto and Videology), as are the industries in which we are a part of (Photo slideshow software and Collaborative real-time editor). The Wibbitz article also follows the same format and voice as those two competitor articles.

Here is a link to the discussion if you need more context: [1]

Sherwin-Williams article updates

Hi, my name is Mira and I am the employee representative for Sherwin-Williams here on Wikipedia. I posted a request on the Sherwin-Williams talk page to hopefully work with editors to make improvements to the article while following the site's guidelines for editors like me with a conflict of interest. As an employee, I will refrain from editing the article and related articles directly. I won't list my full request here, but you may review it on the Sherwin-Williams talk page.

This WikiProject is listed on the Sherwin-Williams article, so I thought it would be a good idea to reach out to see if there were any interested editors.

Please let me know if this is the preferred way for a conflict of interest editor like myself to best collaborate with editors! I welcome your questions and feedback if they arise. Thanks in advance! MiraSherwin-Williams (talk) 20:36, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

@MiraSherwin-Williams: Thanks for following the conflict of interest (COI) guidelines. The best way to request an edit when you have a COI is to use the {{request edit}} template on the article's talk page. That can be found here, with instructions on how to use it: Template:Request edit. This will list it along with other edit requests, so you can get more eyes on what you're asking. I've gone ahead and added it to the message you already wrote on the Sherwin-Williams talk page. The backlog for edit requests is long right now, so it may take awhile for someone to reply. Hope this helps, - Whisperjanes (talk) 17:58, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
Hi, Whisperjanes, thanks so much for this feedback and for using my earlier post to the Sherwin-Williams Talk page as an example. I see how it works and will keep the template in mind for future use. Best, MiraSherwin-Williams (talk) 18:21, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

New request: History section draft: Hello editors, MiraSherwin-Williams here again to see if there are any interested editors willing to take a look at my most recent request on the Sherwin-Williams Talk page. Specifically, I have drafted content to add a History section to the current article and posted it, along with references, for the community's review. I included the edit request template with my original post but it remains unanswered so far. I am requesting reviewing editors to check my work and integrate some version of this new draft into the current article on my behalf. I will not do so myself because of the site's guidelines for conflict of editors like me. Thanks in advance for any assistance offered! You can view my full request HERE Thanks! 2. my latest query about the Competition section of the article HERE

As a reminder, I ask for the community's feedback and assistance with edits on my behalf and will not edit the article myself due to my conflict of interest as an employee of Sherwin-Williams. I have been using the edit request template with my posts since your helpful suggestion, Whisperjanes - I'm pinging you again here in case this update interests you, as they go unanswered so far despite my use of the template. Thanks for any interest or assistance! MiraSherwin-Williams (talk) 20:36, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

Requests for Unity Technologies article

Hello, I'm Matthew and I work for Unity Software. I've disclosed this on my profile and at Talk:Unity Technologies, where I am proposing updates to the article with current information. Specifically, I've suggested adding details about Unity's business model, which has changed in recent years. My proposed changes have been added to "Category:Requested_edits" and because it's quite backlogged, I thought I'd reach out here as well. Thanks! Matthewpruitt (talk) 19:10, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi Matthewpruitt, somehow your comment triggered the request edit template and the bot thinks there's a request on this talk page. I removed the square brackets around "Category:Requested_edits|Request log" so see if that removes the false request. Users can still access Matthewpruitt's request at Talk:Unity Technologies. Please let me know if you have any questions. Z1720 (talk) 21:11, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Company name changes

If news comes out that subsidiary X's name will soon change due to new investors or a merger etc., and the only place X is currently referred to by the new name is on its parent company's website (2ndary sources all state "X will be renamed as Y" or "X will join with Z and be called Y"), when exactly should X's name be updated? Big Hit Entertainment's page was recently edited re: their subsidiary beNX, which will be known as Weverse Company soon (news articles on the topic use future tense, e.g. [1] and [2]). The editor responsible for the edits has used a primary source (BH's website, see the "Family Companies" subhead) to justify changing beNX to Weverse Company there and on the Weverse article. Given what 2ndary sources say (I didn't include korean ones but they all also use future tense regarding news of the business deal), this doesn't seem correct to me, but I am not familiar with what the procedure for company-related articles is, so I am seeking clarification. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 01:16, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

As a default, subject to change on a case-by-case basis, I would wait until after the name change is official. Sometimes you will want to wait a lot longer, especially if reliable sources keep using the former name. Sometimes, you will want to do it sooner, such as if reliable sources start using the new name even before it becomes official. The latter might happen if the old name becomes "toxic" but there is some reason beyond the company's control that the name can't change immediately. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:23, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
@Davidwr: quoting from the articles I linked above:
  • Rolling Stone: "...The deal will see Bang Si-hyuk-led Big Hit, and its subsidiary beNX, invest 30 billion won...", "...this investment gives Big Hit and beNX a combined...", and "...beNX is the Big Hit subsidiary that developed...".
  • The Korea Herald: "Big Hit stated the firm and its affiliate beNX will invest...", "BeNX is the operator of Big Hit’s fan community...", and "BeNX...will change its name to Weverse Company Inc.".
From other sources, "...Naver will transfer its V Live unit to Big Hit Entertainment subsidiary beNX..." & " ...and beNX will invest 40 billion..." (Korea JoongAng Daily), "...Big Hit and its affiliate beNX will invest..." (The Korea Times), "...which is investing...in beNX, a technology subsidiary of Big Hit..." (Billboard), "BHE and its media arm beNX will invest KRW30 billion...", "...while beNX will open its..." & "At the same time, beNX will soon change its name to Weverse..." (Variety).
beNX is still presently being called beNX by multiple reliable 2ndary sources. I have not seen any specific date announced for when the name change will go into effect. Future tense is consistently used in connection with it though. In light of this, what do you propose I do on the wiki articles in question? As I mentioned, the editor enforcing the change believes that because the new name is listed on the BH website it should be used in the articles. They reverted another editor's undoing of their changes twice yesterday. I don't want to trigger any edit warring. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 02:41, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Help improving Rubicon Tech. founder's article

Hello All, I am a paid representative for Nate Morris, the founder of Rubicon Technologies, and I'm here to help improve the current article about Mr. Morris. More about me is on my userpage. While I realize this article is a biography as opposed to a company, I wondered if any editors here would take interest in the entry as Mr. Morris is a well-known entrepreneur for his founding of Rubicon. I know I shouldn't update the live text on my own because of my "conflict of interest". The current article needs much improvement in terms of quality Wikipedia content, as I understand it. Recently, I posted an entirely new draft of the article, attempting to shore up references and improve content relevance, readability, and overall quality as an encyclopedic, biographical entry. Having received no replies yet, I'm posting here in case there could be interested editors to assist. My request can be seen here: Talk:Nate Morris#Well-sourced_draft:_Rewrite. Thanks! Help improving Nate Morris article

Hello All, I am a paid representative for Nate Morris, the founder of Rubicon Technologies, and I'm here to help improve the current article about Mr. Morris. More about me is on my userpage. I wondered if any editors here would take interest in the entry, given Morris's history with start-up, Rubicon, as well as with noteworthy political campaign fundraising. Sharecare article updates

Hi editors, SCbhaynes here. I am an employee of Sharecare and a representative on Wikipedia for the company. I posted a request recently on the article's Talk page seeking editor assistance with adjusting the subsidiaries list in the article's infobox. You can see my full request on the Sharecare talk page. I'm intent on adhering to the site's guidelines for editors like myself with a paid conflict of interest, and of course will not edit the article directly. As my request remains unanswered so far, I thought there could be editors on this WikiProject who might be interested in assisting. Also, I am new to the community, so please let me know if this is an acceptable method for a conflict of interest editor like me to collaborate with the community of volunteer editors. Any questions or feedback that you guys may have are welcome. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or help you can offer! SCbhaynes (talk) 22:14, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

NEW REQUEST: PROPOSED SECTION DRAFT - Blue Zones Project and Community Well-Being Index
Hi editors. SCbhaynes from Sharecare, here again to notify of another new request for any interested editors to review at the Sharecare Talk page. I proposed a drafted section to incorporate content about Sharecare's Blue Zones Project and Community Well-Being Index, including sources. My hope is to gain assistance with these changes to the current Sharecare article, as I have a conflict of interest and will not edit the article myself. Thanks again! SCbhaynes (talk) 00:41, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi everyone! Since sharing this original edit request above around the Sharecare article's infobox, a couple of editors have weighed in and posted thoughts. There is a new draft on the Sharecare talk page based on their feedback, but it remains unposted. Would any editors in this WikiProject be willing to take a look and consider making the update within the article? Since I'm a COI editor, I'm continuing to refrain from making direct edits. One editor suggested I did, but I'm intent on avoiding this to stay in close alignment with Wikipedia's rules. Thanks! SCbhaynes (talk) 11:56, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Regarding extensive list of names in Colab and companies/organizations articles in general

I am currently discussing inclusion of a list of members with Wikipedia article at Talk:Colab. With respect to articles about small to medium organizations and companies, how extensively should the article feature a list of names of people that have membership, works at, or owns a portion of the company? I for one feel that including a simple list format of people, such as members, managers like this isn't encyclopedic and such information is more suitable to be presented by the organization on their own page under "our people" or similar section. Improvements to TomTom article

Hello, I'm Murley, an employee of TomTom, here on behalf of the company to request changes to the article under the guidelines for editors with a conflict of interest. As a paid employee, I will never edit the article myself.

I left a more detailed note and proposed draft on the TomTom Talk page, and have updated my request after discussion with editors. With no replies since updating the proposed draft, I'm hoping a volunteer here may review my request and proposed content. If in agreement, I also ask an editor to please apply updates to the TomTom Group business structure section of the current article in my place. I'm happy to answer any questions or approach the content differently, if editors prefer. Thank you! Murley from TomTom (talk) 09:46, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Infospace

Infospace (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) was a high-flying dot-com company that crashed rather spectacularly. After many corporate purchases, mergers, and a rename, the main company (and article) is Blucora. The actual Infospace business unit was sold off years ago to a company called OpenMail, for which we don't have an article.

The dot-com-era Infospace is highly notable, and I'm wondering if a separate article would help use cover it better. I'm wondering if editors know of other situations where this has been done, or how to go about doing so. --Hipal (talk) 00:21, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

It looks to me like the original article was at InfoSpace (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). [3]. It was moved from there to Blucora in 2012. My thought is we could just undo the redirect from the page move and move the pertinent text from Blucora to InfoSpace and then fix the redirect from Infospace to InfoSpace. If that would affect the attribution, then we may need to move the whole article back to InfoSpace and do some kind of reverse merge with the edit history in both locations, but I'm not sure how that would happen. The InfoSpace article should be primarily about the dot-com boom era company with perhaps a paragraph or two at the end about the later rename to Blucora and later business sale to the other company. ♟♙ (talk) 21:43, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Affiliate sections+Headquarters address in infobox

  • Can someone tell me if the Affiliates section in this article is necessary? I don't think it is but a new acc is insisting that this one company should be listed under its own section because all the Subsidiaries are under their own. They've already rv'd me twice and I'm not about to get into an edit war over something so trivial. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 20:00, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
  • Does the address of a company's headquarters need to be sourced in the infobox? Or is being sourced in the body alone good enough? -- Carlobunnie (talk) 22:12, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

This looks like a great piece of work. But the login page defeats me. Can you make it more user friendly? What's the 'certificate' I'm supposed to upload? What is the 'login' field? Can I complete the form if I'm not a company, since the company field is apparently obligatory? And what does this mean: 'The build versions of the client and the server do not match'. I don't want to sound disparaging because the tool looks really useful, and the videos are great. I'd love it to be widely used. Sadgrove (talk) 19:48, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

CarZing: Article Review

Hello - I'm writing on behalf of my client, CarZing. CarZing’s mission is to make auto financing quick and easy while providing a modern, hassle free way of shopping for cars. The article (see draft here) was submitted back in December 2020, and is still waiting to be reviewed. Hi all. About a month ago I proposed making layout changes to the ByteDance article to comply with MOS:LAYOUT and WP:CSECTION, among other things. Specifically, I suggested using a chronologically organized "History" section (similar to Twitter#History) as well as integrating the contents of the Controversy section into other appropriate parts of the article. But I've struggled to generate a constructive discussion on the Talk page (Talk:ByteDance#Fixing MOS:LAYOUT and MOS:LEAD issues) and I will not make the edits myself due to my COI as a ByteDance employee.

I would greatly appreciate if editors reading this could take a few minutes to look at the discussion and consider implementing my proposal, either in part or in full. Thanks, JatBD (talk) 13:50, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Change name of Wikipedia page from Big Six (law firms) to Top Tier (law firms)

I propose the former name should be updated to the newly suggested name in respect of the article: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Six_(law_firms)

I think this is an appropriate suggestion due to the outdated nature of the former term and the widespread usage in industry and media of the new term.

Amazon: Retail vs AWS Revenue

In a number of articles in this project, Amazon is referred to as a retailer. 10% of Amazon's revenue, and the majority of its income (54% as of FY2020), actually does not come from retail anymore, it comes from AWS. Since the majority of Amazon's income is not tied to retail, it is arguable if it should even be included in the list of the world's largest retailers. If it is retained, I would strongly argue to only include revenue from it's retail operations in the listing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.55.247.218 (talk) 23:54, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Proposed merge of Tesla Dojo

Hello, I would appreciate some wider input on the proposed merge of Tesla Dojo into Tesla Autopilot from 20 August 2021. Reason: I don't think Tesla Dojo is notable enough to warrant a standalone article. I propose merging into Tesla Autopilot (or maybe History of Tesla, Inc.) instead, at least until we wait and see if the project ultimately gains notability over time. The chip is yet to be released, and all of the sources are simply echoing Tesla's PR announcement yesterday. And of course Tesla has announced numerous projects over the years that have failed to come to fruition: plans to produce a COVID-19 vaccine[4], battery swapping[5], robotaxis[6], Model S Plaid Plus[7], etc. WP:NOTNEWS says "routine news reporting of announcements, sports, or celebrities is not a sufficient basis for inclusion in the encyclopedia.". Reviews for Insurance Provider sites

Hi!

I don't want to fall foul of any COI issues - however I and my team at Worry+Peace [deleted my in advertent link!!] are building a valuable source base for customer service reviews for 1,000+ insurance providers in the UK. Including the likes of Hiscox, who are included in your project.

I wanted to add a citation/ Since the pandemic, it's customer experience feedback has improved notably to their page, but AS I READ, believe it's a potential conflict.

Hiscox could, in practice, be our client, but the content we are sourcing/aggregrating and classifying is UGC... so I am unsure where this sits on the scale.

From our perspective we naturally want to be THE source for insurance feedback insight - and feel this is hyper relevant to wiki pages because of the anecdotal and verifiable impact that reviews have on Google rankings for providers in short and long tail insurance keyword searches. We do not sell insurance coverage and do not take a fiduciary commission when buyers use our own search. I would like to request clarification on how we can tread the right line of ethical on this. I see nothing wrong with presenting ourselves as a valuable source of citation, since we believe our work in this field is for the public good - to aid better relationships between them and insurance providers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.224.47.150 (talk) 17:55, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Requests for Interactive Brokers

Hello! I'm "K at IBKR", the Director of Public Relations for Interactive Brokers. I've created a Wikipedia account to serve as a representative of the company and propose changes on the article's Talk page for editors to consider. I've submitted two requests to correct existing text. I've used the edit request template but haven't received any responses yet. Are any editors here at WikiProject Companies able to take a look? Thanks! K at IBKR (talk) 18:23, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

With International Holocaust Remembrance Day coming up on 27 January, after discussing in WP:GERMANY I created a Taskforce on Wikipedia to address coverage of Nazi affiliations of companies that are possibly whitewashed. Please join and make some recommendations including any scholarly source that are relevant! Wikipedia:Nazi affiliation Task Force ~ đŸĻ Shushugah (he/him â€ĸ talk) 15:59, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Add "worker_representation" field to infobox

Hello everyone, I'd be glad if someone with knowledge about the company infobox could take a look at my proposal on the template talk page. I'd like to add a "worker_representation" field to the infobox, in order to allow linking to the articles of trade unions active in companies. This was already suggested a year ago and added to WikiData, but so far not to the infobox. -- Zarasophos (talk) 09:49, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Yahoo Infobox

Hello, editors! My name is Spencer and I work for Yahoo. I posted an edit request on the Yahoo Talk page to update the Infobox, which was partially implemented. But there are a few remaining proposed edits for consideration. Is anyone available to review the remaining requests? Nothing major, just looking to get the Infobox updated. Due to my COI, I am not able to update the article myself. Spencer at Yahoo (talk) 14:53, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

Partially implemented. See feedback at Talk:Yahoo!#Infobox and top sentence. -- DatraxMada (talk) 16:00, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Help updating Pitney Bowes infobox and intro

Hello! There are some factual inaccuracies in the infobox and introduction of the Pitney Bowes article. As a Pitney Bowes employee, I understand that I’m not able to make edits to fix these details myself. Instead, I posted a request with the specific parameters and claims that need updating on the Pitney Bowes talk page. Might an editor be willing to help review my request and assist in making the changes if they agree with what I've suggested? I appreciate any time and consideration editors are willing to give. Thanks so much! MTatPitneyBowes (talk) 15:16, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

I've responded to your request on the Pitney Bowes talk page. Thanks for raising appropriately. DatraxMada (talk) 19:32, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

DoorDash

Hello! Abby here with DoorDash, hoping to find an editor willing to review a few requests I've posted at Talk:DoorDash. I've proposed updating the infobox, adding mention of the company's launch in Germany, and replacing some "citation needed" tags with sources I hope editors will find helpful. I've received little feedback even though I've used Template:Request edit. I'm not editing the article directly because of my conflict of interest, and I'm hoping a WikiProject Companies member might be able to review and update the page appropriately. Thanks in advance! AH at DoorDash (talk) 23:14, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

I've addressed the open edit requests. Thanks for respecting COI guidelines. DatraxMada (talk) 22:06, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Help needed to split Citadel Securities from Citadel LLC

Hi, a discussion has determined that Citadel Securities should be split from Citadel LLC. COI editor Amandaatcitadel has prepared a draft here: User:Amandaatcitadel/Citadel Securities. On first impression, the draft seems workable, but I won't have the time required to give it proper attention over in the near future. If anyone has the time to take a look, it would be appreciated. I'm also notifying Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Finance & Investment. JBchrch talk 22:34, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
