Notability of article

[edit]

Based on the sources provided, I believe that this game is definitely notable. It has been covered by many gaming sites and is being released this month on Steam. Although the article is written horribly, that is not a cause for it to be deleted, rather than improved. Kevinmontalktrib 04:48, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good. That's the way it works. Let's prune it. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 04:49, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I should respect process? How does that aide me Merrill Stubing (talk) 04:50, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you wanted this article to exist and that because you said you weren't good at writing articles that others should help? The processes help keep the article from getting deleted immediately, but rather allow others to improve it... DMacks (talk) 04:56, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just completely confused. Why was this Choyooiiii person insisting I was vandalizing? Merrill Stubing (talk) 04:58, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Take it to AFD if you think it's not notable. I don't know how to write a fantsy article. Merrill Stubing (talk) 04:48, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The game is notable. The article can be worked on. I don't think it should be deleted, but it needs to be cleaned up. Kevinmontalktrib 04:51, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(ec)I have to concur that this article, and the massive number of previews, makes this ineligible for speedy deletion. It's clearly not G3 (vandalism), as it (appears to be) a real, forthcoming game. Since this is not an web-game, but a real, downloadable game, it doesn't fall under any of the A criteria for lack of notability. Thus, this article must either be prodded or AfD'ed. The only grounds for deletion, for me, would fall under WP:CRYSTAL, in that the game hasn't been released yet. However, CRYSTAL doesn't apply if there is substantial coverage in reliable sources, which there appears to be. In any event, if someone still feels it needs to be deleted, then please follow one of the non-speedy processes. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:59, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
