'Video Services', i.e. 'Streaming' and 'Direct Purchase' Services[edit]

The last three episodes of season 3 ("Pups Save a Giant Plant/Pups Get Stuck", "Pups Raise the PAW Patroller/Pups Save the Crows", and "Pups Save Floating Friends/Pups Save a Satellite") have been available on Netflix Canada since last Friday, the 23rd. Is there a way I could cite this in the article to make it clear that the episodes were available online before they actually aired? I'm able to find the direct links to the images for each episode on Netflix's servers if that helps. 9gagger Frank (talk) 00:16, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We can't source it, since content varies by country, and the English WP is edited by people around the world. However, we can put a note on the airdate. CriticismEdits (talk) 08:52, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
'Streaming' services have come a long way since 2018. Indeed, some even ridicule those still purchasing DVDs. One could argue that adding such content keeps this 'Wiki page' relevant and contemporary. These days, the 'streaming' service content does not vary that much between countries, where such services are available, or change that regularly. Furthermore, since Wikipedia is updated daily by editors from around the world, any such variance can be accounted for. Some websites keep detailed lists of 'streaming' and 'direct purchase' video services, so such a section is possible. I have created a section of the available 'streaming' and 'direct purchase' 'video services' on the Paw Patrol 'Wiki page'. Please give me some feedback! Proposed split[edit]

  • Oppose Tag was added, I disagree that it is necessary based on article length. Best to leave article as it is unless and until well-sourced season article can be created that are not just chunks of this one put into separate articles. Geraldo Perez (talk) 04:01, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, definitely, separate "season" articles here – the content does not justify that. --IJBall (contribstalk) 21:17, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose There is not enough information specific to individual seasons to justify separate articles. 9gagger Frank (talk) 20:03, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • ‘’’Oppose’’’ per 9gagger Frank. CriticismEdits (talk) 01:17, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, there's not enough content for season articles. - Brojam (talk) 13:13, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Pp2013" listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

MOS:TV issue[edit]

A lot of the episode summaries look like they were pasted from other websites, meaning that most of the summaries in this article are WP:COPYVIO (unless if users have permission of the copyright owner), and while I am fine with broadcast orders, in this case, it should be in the Nickelodeon broadcast order, as per MOS:TVINTL. Even if the show was made in Canada, lots of other Nickelodeon shows made other countries use US broadcast order.

Formatting should be like The Loud House episode list, there is too much to clean up.

I hate what this list looks like now, and I think it needs a lot of improving.

Split again for real?[edit]

Page is now 284k in size, maybe do it chunks of 3 seasons each, keep in mind that Season 9 sounds like it will be in September (no episodes revealed yet) if you believe this source: http://www.nickalive.net/2021/08/nickelodeon-to-premiere-paw-patrol.html 75.111.8.64 (talk) 19:11, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like that is likely a fake, season 8 only has 11/26 aired. Pups Stop the Cheetah is for 9/10 per FutonCritic. S9 likely won't come until around May-June '22. 75.111.8.64 (talk) 03:54, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PAW Patrol Original 5s (2020)[edit]

What the heck are these?? There no mention of it in the article or here. Where are/were these broadcast or found? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.128.24 (talkcontribs)

These are 5-minute shorts that come on TV, or you can see them on Youtube, which is what I did yesterday. 75.111.8.64 (talk) 21:56, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I want Rescue Knights: Pups Break the Ice and Rescue Knights: Pups Save Excalibark added with a writer and a director.[edit]

Geraldo Perez, I gonna take you down on this Wikipedia page, because you gave me dumb stupid messages. I want Rescue Knights: Pups Break the Ice and Rescue Knights: Pups Save Excalibark added with a writer and a director.

Please understand that copyright violations is seriously against Wikipedia policy rules and is prohibited. Do not copy episode summaries, create your own in your own words. Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:01, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I already written it in my own words, User:Geraldo Perez, but ClueBot NG took the summary away. 2A02:C7C:DC9A:7100:58DA:DA6:6E69:434 (talk) 19:11, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Dancing with Luke Stars" and "Pups Save a Mischievous Octopus" writers?[edit]

It needs some writers for these episodes. They're called "Dancing with Luke Stars" and "Pups Save a Mischievous Octopus" . Please write them. 2A02:C7F:A0C4:8C00:3151:765B:D8AB:20EA (talk) 15:01, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Citation mess/cleanup[edit]

What is even going on with this article? Citations 165-210 are not coming up correctly whatsoever and I can't even begin to guess where/what the issue is. Is there anyone that can help figure out this issue?... Magitroopa (talk) 20:27, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What is happening with the dates?[edit]

Hey people, what's with the dates? Why is it that the release date in the USA shows that the episodes of season 9 will be released after 10 years? Is this a joke? What will be the order of this language section of Wikipedia?--Uhgwq1408 (talk) 12:28, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What happened?!?[edit]

Why was all the text deleted? OnceUponATimeFan3 (talk) 02:20, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As the notice states, there may be serious copyright infringement so the article is hidden for now. Hope this helps, Knitsey (talk) 02:28, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Could you point to the area(s) which is believed to have copyright infringement? I'll also add that you can't have serious infringement with to a few lines about each episode regardless of where the information was taken from. 2603:6010:45F0:6570:A148:F7DA:3F14:1DEB (talk) 01:22, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The episode descriptions could be "stolen" from another source and considered copyright infringement. For example if you just copy the exact same description that your cable companies provides for the episode it would be infringement. Can we delete the episode descriptions and restore the page? I feel like that would be better than blocking the whole page.
Andcbii (talk) Andcbii (talk) 13:05, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is a mix of original contributions and copyright violations. I am going through these (slowly) and removing materials that has been copied. Until that is completed, the notice must remain. -- Whpq (talk) 13:41, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Season 1 episode table format[edit]

Can someone please revert the Season 1 episode table back to the "a" and "b" format, rather than in NumParts? An editor attempted to change the format, but ultimately couldn't finish the job. 192.148.104.39 (talk) 12:52, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
