A tag has been placed on User:Abhishek shannu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Abhishek shannu, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Navlakha Palace have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:40, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Ruins of Rajnagar Palace.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ruins of Rajnagar Palace.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:30, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

July 2019[edit]

Hello, Abhishek shannu. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but  Paper N Parcel has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo. These are just rough guides. Pages can avoid all those pitfalls and still be glaringly obvious ad copy. Sometimes pages meeting WP:CSD#G11 give the appearance of an editor violating Wikipedia:Conflict of interest or WP:PAID. Please read and heed them if they apply to you. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations.

There is a very common mistake of assuming that the prohibition of promotional editing applies only to promotion for commercial gain, but that is not so.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Ritesh Agarwal[edit]

Hi Abhishek, many thanks for the new article about Ritesh Agarwal. There actually have been a discussion about an article for this person recently and the consensus was not to retain the article. Pls see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ritesh Agarwal. I have therefore redirected the article to OYO Rooms. I am also concerned about the promotional nature of this new article and the misrepresentation of the business model of OYO which goes contrary to the main article. If that has changed, this will need a holistic approach and consensus about the articles. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:36, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Dr.Jagat Ram, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hello Abhishek shannu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rashmi Singh (author) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

A tag has been placed on Maulana Mazharul Hacque requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://twocircles.net/2009nov20/maulana_mazharul_haque_forgotten_leader_bihar.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". The word "Copyright" occurs on this page 56 times combined in at least half a dozen warnings and notices left to you, all of which encouraged you to read Copyright policies of Wikipedia. You have not complied, you keep posting copyrighted text, thus potentially putting Wikipedia in legal trouble and wasting other editors' time on going through and reverting your edits. You have been warned several times and as you have refused to learn, so time has come to put a stop to your editing. In your unblock request you will need to try hard to convince admins that you have learned how Wikipedia operates. I am not sure it is doable before 6 months - see WP:STANDARDOFFER. — kashmīrī TALK 06:49, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I wasn't full aware of the reference that I was using it was copyright. That's why I was blocked. After that I red the policy and guidelines of Wikipedia. Now I am fully aware of the polices and guidelines of the Wikipedia.i am neither WP:COl nor WP:PAID.Writing is my hubby whenever I have free time that I try to contribute to Wikipedia.I have created many new pages.I have nothing to do with them for example I created pages about startup they were deleted and reason was they were promotional .But similar pages already exist on Wikipedia. Please unblock me I want to continue contribute usefully to Wikipedia. If you won't unblock me.I don't have any problem but you should also delete pages that I have created

Decline reason:

Your claim "But similar pages already exist on Wikipedia" is offensive in how inappropriate it is. WP:OTHERSTUFF applies and you will need to come up with a far, far, far more compelling reason there. As to copyright... In order to lift the block, we need to be certain that you understand how copyright works on Wikipedia. To allow the reviewing administrator to assess your understanding, please respond to the following questions in your next unblock appeal, explaining in your own words:

  • What is copyright?
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?
  • Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?

Your answers will enable us to establish whether or not you should be unblocked. Yamla (talk) 11:12, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your understanding[edit]

Hi Abhishek, As you can see, other editors keep asking you stuff and telling you stuff, but you still seem entirely unable to comprehend even a simple question or follow a simple advice. See, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort and communication between editors is essential. If you are incapable of communicating effectively even in basic matters, maybe you will try to gain this competence elsewhere and then come back to edit Wikipedia in a couple of months?

When you repeatedly copy and paste unblock requests without heeding the responses you receive, it is only a waste of everyone's time. If you will continue to do so, you will get yourself blocked even from posting on this page. — kashmīrī TALK 11:18, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

1. Copyright is the legal right of the owner of intellectual property. 2. Wikipedia licenced its editor to recreate, redistribute and reuse its text. 3. I ignore the warning of Diannaa on 24 June because I used source material which was in public domain and I felt like it was a false allegation and please Check that page still exist on Wikipedia @Doug wellar:

Decline reason:

Duplicate request. This one unfortunately confirms that you cannot be unblocked. Diannaa removed text based on two sources. Neither of them was in the public domain, despite your explicit claim in this unblock request. Since you state above that you intend to continue adding content "in the public domain" but apparently are unable to recognize what is and what isn't public domain, unblocking you would be almost guaranteed to lead to further copyright issues. See above. Also, I'm not impressed by this stance of "ignoring notices that you feel are false". If you don't even ask for clarification and explain to the other editor why you think what you did is correct but merely ignore such notices, you are making sure that you cannot learn from your mistakes even if they are pointed out to you. Yeah Diannaa removed text based on two sources.so I felt that it is a normal process anyone can edit any page on Wikipedia.if I used again copyright material then anyone will again remove from my page. That's why I ignore those notices. At that time I was a new editor on Wikipedia.I was not fully aware of the policy and guidelines of Wikipedia and I keep doing something again and again. It was my mistake I am accepting it.Now I am fully aware of the policy and guidelines of Wikipedia.it would not happen in future again. So unblock me I want to continue contribute usefully to Wikipedia. @Huon:

Decline reason:

It is far from clear from your responses to questions and your unblock requests that you really do understand the issues involved: it seems at least equally plausible that you are just parroting the answers you think are wanted, without understanding. As has already been explained to you, simply saying "Now I am fully aware of the policy and guidelines of Wikipedia" without indicating what you now understand that you didn't before is not enough. Far more often than not editors who say general things of that kind when asking to be unblocked, rather than explaining the specific points that they now understand, turn out actually not to understand the issues at all, so that unblocking simply leads to further problems and then another block. However, even if we ignore that and assume that you really do understand the issues, I'm afraid almost every post you make confirms that you very simply do not have the competence in English to contribute. Articles you have created are full of garbled attempts to write English sentences that simply aren't English sentences, and your posts to this page confirm the same problem. You may like to contribute to Wikipedia in a language over which you have more command. If so hi::सदस्य वार्ता:Abhishek shannu may possibly be a good place to start; if not you may like to look at meta::List of Wikipedias. You have now made seven unblock requests without making any progress, and there is no conceivable chance that you will be unblocked, so posting more unblock requests will simply waste both your time and that of the administrators who review the requests. To prevent such waste of your time and ours I shall now remove talk page access. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:53, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Anup ranjan pandey.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — kashmīrī TALK 11:13, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Anup Ranjan Pandey moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Anup Ranjan Pandey, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your page to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. When you feel that it meets our notability and neutrality requirements, and is thus ready for mainspace, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page.
