Hector Bellerin

Done. I should point out that in the event that he plays a professional match for Arsenal it won't be possible to delete future recreations under G4. Hut 8.5 10:01, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of tea for you!

Much needed after the recent discussion :) It is always advised that people having good intentions but a difference of opinion should sit and talk. Discussion always kills ignorance and makes people wiser . cheers. DBigXray 11:06, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

Your name

Ok, I have to ask. (Well, not really, but, you know.) Whence the name? --BDD (talk) 03:15, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apropos of nothing, I found it strange that the X Window System logo is the icon for your deletion log. Any particular reason why you decided to use it? —Psychonaut (talk) 14:21, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Railway magazines AFD

Yes. (Possibly I should have taken them all to a block AFD - but was expecting them to be deleted on a non-controversial prod) I found a lot (~20) of seemingly non-notable articles which I WP:PRODed for deletion - I wasn't expecting anyone to object - so I just added them as people objected. If people insist on mass objecting without improving the articles then I will block nominate them. About 6 have been proposed separately for formal AFD deletion processing. Hopefully that is it. Really all but one of them should not have been objected to without some work being done as they really don't have any hope of passing any notability test. A sixth page does need looking at from a wider audience.Oranjblud (talk) 00:41, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I didnt really object to anything you (Duckis) said at all - sorry for the misunderstanding - it is the above issue that I am concerned with - too systematically focused on afd and notability - and little or no creativity in dealing with the issue... As for 'notability test' re magazines and or rail magazines and the bleak assesment above is what I have concern for. again apologies for any misunderstanding SatuSuro 07:59, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I also find it quite disconcerting that an AFd proposer has a sock investigation - that puts a particular colour on the nominations SatuSuro 08:07, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edinburgh Wanderer

Duck, have you seen what's happened? There was a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football (Competition names 1-4). You don't have to read it all but EW got in a dispute about the name of this competition, him believing the name is Ramsden's Cup and everyone else saying it was Scottish Challenge Cup. It's now escalated and he has retired but is back as an IP. He's been blocked (the admin was involved though, I'm not sure if the block is actually justified) but apparently now wants to start an RFC to review the blocking process and/or still wants to have the argument about the cup's name. Which will probably be tomorrow after his block expires. Adam4267 (talk) 01:18, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

yeh I noticed you were away after I left the message. I should left you another note but hopefully things are back to normal now. Adam4267 (talk) 11:59, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Queen of the South Season 2012-13 wiki-page

I'm needing some help with this page. Can you adjust the format with the pre-season results I'm inputing so that the colour coding is in place to show the wins in green etc. Someone started this page for this season and it's not in the same format as last season 2011-12. Can you alter it also for the cup tie with Dumbarton and start one for the league campaign at home to Forfar Athletic on 11 August 2012. Many Thanks. RJC 08:39, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Queen of the South - Additional Pre Season Friendly versus Queen's Park

Queen of the South won 2-0 at Lesser Hampden in a closed doors game on 17 July 2012 with Gavin Reilly and A. Trialist scoring. Could you add this pre season friendly onto the wikipage please with these details and also add Queen of the South's match report found under news. Many Thanks. RJC 12:50, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

Fixes

Just so you know I've fixed the season articles for Dundee, Airdrie and Stranraer to reflect their league change. Ive not got the will at the moment to do the friendlies but maybe in a few days i will, not sure.E W 23:00, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ive got the premier pre season up to date, apart from Inverness which is causing problems cant find sources. In the first division all but Airdrie, Dumbarton and Hamilton are done. Hamilton is technically done when it comes to open games, however they have played a lot of closed door games that do have minor detail on their site but no dates or locations or details of goals scored by opposition so left for now. If these two leagues have been hard, not sure what the lower are going to be. Hope your ok and may be able to help at some point.E W 23:12, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Xhino Sejdo for deletion

I'm letting you know that I've nominated this article for deletion, since you had contested my initial PROD. Sir Sputnik (talk) 08:24, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Durnan: Queen of the South's new signing

Listed under Scotland Football Task Force player's page to be created. Could you deal with this for me please?

Jimmy Greenock

I have found a photo of Jimmy Greenock in a team photo on Queens Official Website. I was wondering if you could have his image placed onto his wikipedia page? He is standing extreme right in the back row. RJC 12:29, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Assaf Abu Rahhal

DuckIsJammy, Could you please relist or let me see the article deleted on Assaf Abu Rahhal? As I look at the reasoning, I couldn't help but notice the lack of attention and the appalling misuse of taking a source out of context. Thank you and I would appreciate your help, Crtew (talk) 23:11, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Just a wee note to say it was really nice to see your name back on my watchlist. Hope your ok. Dont know if you noticed my account was renamed above. EW nowBlethering Scot 13:17, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

its just nice to see you back, doesnt matter how little. I was actually a bit worried and was going to email you but realised you didn't have mail set up. Not much has happened to be honest other than they eventually decided to keep Rangers as one article. Ive been thinking about going back to the task force only, not interested in the main project but with you away didnt really feel motivated to do it as other than you and GS i don't really feel comfortable there. I tried to add some articles to the transfer list but with the season articles didn't have much time. Blethering Scot 13:53, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ive re added my name, probably mad to do it. Do you think even with reducing your editing you'll stick around. Mostly they have been fine, a few don't have preseason or I've hidden them because i cant complete properly and the press association majorly cocked up a match report for Montrose but thats sorted now. With the transfers i take it needs split again now.Blethering Scot 18:24, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Probably best. Its always sourcing same old problem.Blethering Scot 19:38, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
How are you getting on with the transfers, do you need any help.Blethering Scot 23:13, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well as far as I can work out he is still a contracted Hearts player although I think this is the last year of his contract. The club never announce the loans only ever get from the press. It's an odd situation as they could of sacked him but but have effectively by the loans. I never heard anything about him being at Hearts so sounds like it was more like a trial especially of he never actually signed. Surprised I never actually heard anything about it. I'm working on Ross county's seasons at the moment. Wish I actually hadn't started all the main season articles this year just not manageable think next season will only do premier and first, that's if I'm still editing then. Blethering Scot 11:23, 20 September 2012 (UTC).[reply]
Thats great on both counts. Thanks for letting me know about the AFD, surprised that wasn't accepted as a speedy.Blethering Scot 16:58, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers - as soon as Soccerway has been updated, happy to change the stats and add that reference. GiantSnowman 14:49, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
