Dont worry about it if you cant. Dont mind doing the premier and first, its the lowers i struggle with time wise.Blethering Scot 17:37, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If its ok i will do the Premier and First. It just means if your not around ill do it the way i have been. Just been doing it that way so that the ones that probably get the higher page views are done first, but to be honest if you are doing them it doesnt really matter because they all get done anyway. Would you be happy with that if your not then we can easily do it the other way around like last year.Blethering Scot 19:21, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Worst game i have been to in ages but the ref played his part, don't think McGlynn has long left in charge to be honest. The BBC usually do them but take ages. At least its the only the third division thats in the cup so can just wait until they do eventually.Blethering Scot 17:46, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You seriously dont know Romanov, he sacked Burley when we were top of the league. Hearts don't put up with managers never have since Romanov took over. They have a much weakened squad this year but most of the problems are lack of management experience.Blethering Scot 18:45, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at the Partick Squad section. Sure you will spot it. [[1]. Blethering Scot 19:55, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The odd thing is until today i have only found one mistake so far this season.Blethering Scot 20:23, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So do they all have errors or query errors.Blethering Scot 21:57, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. Well this is a bad week, honestly there has only been one error that I've spotted since the start of the season. Seems the Press association has had a very bad day then.Blethering Scot 22:12, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will double check the First Division ones tomorrow. They seemed ok other than Partick which i got sorted and the attendance missing from Airdrie but got that from their match report.Blethering Scot 22:29, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Brilliant. Thanks for doing them just wish the press association would get their act together. Made such a difference you doing them really appreciated it. Blethering Scot 10:36, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That would be fine with me.Blethering Scot 22:51, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't even know there was a match today. I am out as well but possibly can do late on, if not will do in the morning. Blethering Scot 08:05, 5 October 2012 (UTC).[reply]
Ive done them. You will likely have to update the league places though once all fixtures are played.Blethering Scot 00:35, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
He certainly is all others changed during pre season if I remember correctly. Certainly first sacked. Unless it specifically states free use I doubt we could, might be wrong though. Blethering Scot 13:14, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Luckily Safari has a built in warning for it, saw it last night. Just saw there are only a few games this weekend. Would you like me just to do then and we can do the rotate again next week. Blethering Scot 08:53, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. To be honest I don't really know what happened. I only caught the end when he lost it with Drmies but I'm really not sure why. I'll mail him tonight. Blethering Scot 11:25, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just wondering, why did you change the sources from cite web to cite news on the transfer page? They aren't news pages so my understanding is it would be cite web, i may well be wrong.Blethering Scot 17:50, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was always under the impression that Cite news was only for printed press organisations so things like Livingston sources would be Cite Web. It was actually explained to me and its the way i always remember it that if the article title is in Italics like The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mirror or not like BBC and Sky Sports News then its Cite Web. Its the way i always remember it. Not that it matters anyway i was just curious.Blethering Scot 19:11, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know who it was that told me but im not caring enough to go through their archive and find it right now.Blethering Scot 20:06, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No chance of me finding that in the archive wouldn't know where to start. Ive asked them to see if i am remembering it correctly and ill let you know what they say, i may not be it was a whilst ago.Blethering Scot 23:36, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Listen mate, i didn't make an error on my post on the Terry Butcher page, i haven't missed a home game in 6 years and they even said live on ESPN that the 3-1 win over Ross County with Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC on Friday the 6th of October 2012 was in fact his 100th game in charge of the club. So if you would let me repost for the sake of the fans. Signed: DuncanH1000 (talk) 00:22, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Duck, - any idea what's happened to Jordan Jivanda and Craig Watson at Accies? I don't recall any news piece stating they'd left... GiantSnowman 17:39, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for late reply. Thanks for doing that would of got around to eventually, was dreading doing Jmorrison's articles in particular.Blethering Scot 19:54, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Been meaning to look at the archive for a whilst, just never got around to it. Soccerway are good its just a shame Soccerbase aren't the same. Yeah thats fine will do them as normal tomorrow, am i to do the SPL and first this week.Blethering Scot 20:21, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Odd one as two editors did that and neither are around, only noticed something was up when i saw your edit. In a way I'm reluctant to take it on without making some changes to the format, but if they are not around then well have to.Blethering Scot 18:40, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is just so much duplication in the stats section, and i hate the starting eleven part.Blethering Scot 19:41, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
On another note have you seen any other sources[2] saying Jordan Lowdon signed for Brechin, im struggling to work out exactly where he came from. Source says Cambridge United however i can find articles saying he signed for PAEEK in July, really confused.Blethering Scot 19:48, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think it's safe to use the ref to say he signed for Brechin, use another to show his last club as far as we can tell was PAEEK. Blethering Scot 18:03, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You should nominate John McGinn for Wikipedia:Did you know, i had thought this would make a good one as all three brothers have played for St. Mirren i think is a good fact.Blethering Scot 22:54, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just realised I replied on my own page, i'll blame tiredness. Just hate to see a good opportunity go by although I suppose if his brother gets a game there will be more to right about him so could do it then. Might have a dig around if I get a free moment. Blethering Scot 23:21, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah maybe. Annoying though because had been thinking that would be a good hook for a few days. To be honest they don't have to even be all that interesting at times so we should do it more often. I've done it twice but could of done it for way more. Blethering Scot 23:30, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Really sorry not going to get season articles done tonight. Stuck at work and back agin tommorow. Will try and get around to them when i get some time. Blethering Scot 16:43, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Im so sorry about this weekend. Essentially i am a lot busier at work at the moment and doing extended hours which is leaving me a lot less time. It may be like this for the next week or so, so my wiki time is going to be intermittant.Blethering Scot 19:26, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Knew there would be one, only a matter of time. Really am sorry its just been a nightmare, not sure whats going to happen this weekend yet but if its like this might be sunday or monday before i get to mine but will do some.Blethering Scot 19:48, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Its more likely I will do the SPL and First ones Tommorow, although if I get back at an alright time may start them. They can all wait a day no harm done. Blethering Scot 12:16, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Soccerway said Edinburgh but I guess they're mistaken. GiantSnowman 15:29, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nowhere describes him as "Cameroonian", only "Camerron-born", which is a vital difference. Both Soccerway & Soccerbase have him listed as Scottish. GiantSnowman 15:57, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jernade Meade article

http://www.arsenal.com/reserves-youth/reserves-fixtures

If you look through the fixtures, he played 6 out of 7 starts as a left-back, and mostly played there last season - hence why his main role is a left back but can also play as a left winger.

In the articles it states his direct contributions to 5 of the goals this term too.

As for the height, some places say he's 5 foot 11", but it's clear he's not. No reliable source on that, but he does look just an inch shorter than Arshavin when he stood next to him. Better to wait for a source on that, though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SaiSitharthan (talkcontribs) 14:30, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Celtic

Is it the whole thing or just the european and league cup section.Blethering Scot 18:59, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've compared it to last years and cant really see anything wrong, other than in the two bits i mentioned but thats because the comp length is two long causing the show tab to be out of line with the date. What exactly are you seeing? Also just for your info their is a problem with the reports for the united match, they have missed at least two possible three yellow cards of the reports. Watched it live on sky and whilst the live text see 14:39 mentions two bookings i think there were three not mentioned in report.Blethering Scot 19:15, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not seeing that at all.Blethering Scot 19:39, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will wind the sky back when get a chance but there were def two bookings, to be honest the SPL will do a report soon so that should be right. Ive seen the problem when i tried on Safari on my iphone5, doesn't display like that on my iMac in Safari however. Has it only just started doing it as when i look at last years on mobile browser does the same as does this years Hibernian page. But then that could just be the formatting on my device.Blethering Scot 20:11, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Damm thought they would get it right. So the only ones who caught it were the BBC on the live page, they are obviously right there were two cards shown. The only reason i thought there was three was because two players were carded then as they were all walking away they said something about Skacel getting booked and it didnt look like him who was originally carded but as they were in a group probably wrong. Ill take a look at the papers in the morning.Blethering Scot 22:39, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Help in Football records in Spain please .

Hello

a user using IP (not registered ID) keeps removing referenced information in page: Football records in Spain, because he thinks its not needed I tried to address that issue at wikiprjoect football so we have a consensus but not one responded.

The differences at first individual section : he thinks its not needed to put a player with most consecutive match win & a player with most consecutive match without a lose, he argued at the talk page its similar wot team with most consecutive match win or not lose ...even its difference which stats can show..because its not necessary the player had to play at any match the club lost. so its difference from team records .

2ndly at team section : number of scorers in official games during season for one team ... he thinks also its not needed plus in a season barcelona scored 190 goals 150 from them came from players came through the club which is a records as references show, but he thinks its not needed also . even its a section about different referenced records .

If you look at records section you can find similar records with the similar idea like consecutive scorer or number team scored against by one player etc ...

Thank you

Re: Template:India squad 2012 AFC Challenge Cup

Hey mate, just thought I might tell you for future notice. When it comes down to AFC tournaments and you want to know the numbers then go to that tournaments wiki page, go to that years tournament page and find a match that team played in the tournament and their should be a link to a match report by the AFC. If you click it that should give you all the shirt numbers for all 23 players. For example... India, just look at one of their games in the AFC Challenge Cup like the one against North Korea and then click on the report to go here and all 23 players are named and all the shirt numbers are there as well. Simple. Before that I would use goal.com but then I saw that they repeat numbers and sometimes dont use them at all. They are not reliable with those things. Cheers and yes I will add the numbers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 04:51, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Season articles

Just to say may not be around as much this week as got a lot on with work. Came on to finish weekend season articles but see they are done so thanks for that, glad to see you are feeling better. Blethering Scot 19:31, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They usually do so its surprising. No idea how McGlynn is still there, keeps saying we have no strikers yet he has two on the bench every week.Blethering Scot 21:49, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The BBC live text for the day says Roberts, also BBC sportscene tv programme also said Roberts. He clearly touched the ball before it went in from Forans initial shot. Blethering Scot 18:39, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ref has to be blind the ball was going no where near the net, ball tottally changed direction when hit Zal. Will need to be a footnote of some kind or re word carefully but that's a bit of a laugh. Blethering Scot 18:58, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Go with the BBC source text. The live text backs up the statement that Roberts connected before it crossed the line.[3] as does the Herald.[4], it doesn't matter how little he touched it. Also the BBC had someone at the match where as the stats come from press assoc so reports reliability varies. I know what i would put it as but not bothered you decide.Blethering Scot 19:45, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Stokes

Thank you for taking the trouble to tell me why you have deleted my contribution to this page.

At about 10am this morning I had barely heard of Mr Stokes. I then came across the Scotsman article by chance and decided to check Wikipedia to see if he has any form in the area. On discovering nothing about it I decided to link to the article.

It is of course true that my action reflected my own prejudices. I have an interest in Irish politics and society and I don't care for Republicanism. If the Scotsman piece had been "Stokes does charity work" or "Stokes gets ban from driving" then I wouldn't have bothered to amend his Wikipedia article. However I think it is news when such strong criticism of an Old Firm player appears on the website of what is possibly Scotland's most prestigious newspaper.

The logic of your position is that footballers' Wiki articles should merely contain career statistics. If that were the case then John Terry's article would shrink substantially. More relevantly perhaps mention of Andy Goram's dodgy friends would also disappear. I don't see why Stokes should be treated any differently.

sorry but Football Records in Spain again .

I'm sorry to write again but i really cant understand it, because i really though we had a consensus about it before if you remember when giantman said we need well referenced records only .. but now a user called : Thumperward removed them claiming there is no consensus about it. and giantman went into it and was even the one who removing them even .

I just cant understand it and understand why almost of people who usually involve in editing cant be nice in their discussion !! calling something as idiocy isnt really sounds like that anyway . im really confused wasnt there a consensus and even giantman accepted it even ? or i was wrong ?and again how does wikipedia works?? every group against eachother ?? because it seems as that when giantman interacted just when thumperward reacted , even though this dialogue has been since first time but never really reacted until clearly being asked by thumperward .

anyway i hope you can explain things more for me thank you ,

Adnan 13:31, 12 December 2012

well...i really thought when you said you have no issue with it and giantsnow said it should be referenced he meant its accepted ...when do you consider consensus accepted or agreed ? may you explain that for me please .

and yes for sure Chris is being exaggerated...i mean being nice wont make his point of view less potent dont you think so..?

finally ... do you think this records are biased towards Barcalona ?Its a record after all...and listed at Barcelona records section as national records. but if 3 out of 4 think that it i agree i guess .

Hi there DUCK, AL "here",

correct me if i'm mistaken, but the fact that this guy is a professional goalkeeper coach in the present does not grant him WP:NOTABILITY does it? As a player he only competed in Segunda División B and lower. AfD if you ask me man.

Happy weekend from Portugal (yes as you can see, i am not retired at all, i'm hooked, only thing i'm doing differently is 1 - NOT FEEDING the trolls; 2 - do not have a watchlist anymore; 3 - am not a WP:FOOTY member anymore), keep it up! --AL (talk) 19:18, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's pretty much my view to. They are too much work to guarantee to do, if its just a few or spl even wouldn't be so bad but really they are a nightmare. Three seasons of them will be enough. Blethering Scot 15:39, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, and hope you enjoy your holiday with your family .

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of world club champions in association football

I've tagged the SPA as such, and left a comment for the closing admin that the nom & IP are the same. Fancy taking it to SPI? GiantSnowman 17:39, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lewis Macleod

The entire page was different between the diff that you linked and the deleted version; G4 is for reposts, which this most definitely was not. There's no similar wording between the two versions' intros and infoboxes (even the birth dates are different!), and while the applicable revision has a "Career" section in prose that the deleted version doesn't, it lacks a table that's in the deleted version. There's no way that it could be considered a repost. Nyttend (talk) 01:22, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RFCU

FYI, God Football (talk · contribs) has started a RFCU about you - Wikipedia:Requests for comment/DUCKISJAMMMY. I strongly suggest you ignore it and do not react. The instructions at the top clearly state:

To remain listed at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct, at least two people need to show that they tried to resolve a dispute with this user and have failed. This must involve the same dispute with a single user, not different disputes or multiple users. The persons complaining must provide evidence of their efforts, and each of them must certify it by signing this page with ~~~~. If this does not happen within 48 hours of the creation of this dispute page (which was: 12:42, 23 December 2012 (UTC)), the page will be deleted

which obviously has not happened, so I will delete it in 48 hours. GiantSnowman 13:22, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have replied on GiantSnowman's talk page here. It's relevant to your concern about the Afd. Cheers, James086Talk 17:35, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should wait for MBisanz's input before leaving a note, in case he deems it unnecessary. GiantSnowman 18:03, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
