WikiProject football

There is a discussion on going on page Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football in regards to use of flags in the football transfers article. Given the change to the article took away most of the flags. I felt the best thing to do would be to remove them altogether only because if the version you had was against the mos flag policy. Then i felt the page would look more professional without them rather than with just some littered around the article all be it to serve a small purpose. I would appreciate it if you would add your view on this. I hope you continue to edit the article as you did a great job keeping it up to date. All the best. 18:05, 22 June 2011 (UTC)Warburton1368 (talk)

Thank you for your apology. I will admit that my choice of word in that one instance could have been better, and for that I also apologise. I applaud you for your maturity in this matter, and I hope you will continue as a Wikipedian in the future. – PeeJay 12:03, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would use the term "Unattached" rather than "Free agent", but otherwise you're right. If a player is not currently contracted to an association football club, he is unattached. – PeeJay 20:24, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Of course not. As long as the images are under a free licence, there is no reason why anyone would have a problem with you adding images to the list. – PeeJay 23:17, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

^

I wouldn't of objected eithier. It looks good and the captions are good far better than the ones on the English page. Warburton1368 (talk) 11:32, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah no problem Warburton1368 (talk) 19:28, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the recent Spl transfers. Someone Changed the caption transfer value from 250k to 250,000 ibtgouhht it was ok but suppose the purpose of s caption should be short and concise so you might want to change it back. Warburton1368 (talk) 08:29, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think the fees are correct its just impossible to put an exact figure the sources quote Undisclosed fee thought to be around so it might be better to have it as undisclosed then there is no speculation in it. And when we do know think the shorter version is better for the table Warburton1368 (talk) 19:15, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2011–12 St. Mirren F.C. season

Thanks i created most of the scottish seasons only because no one was getting them started. My preference would be by squad number but im sure either would be fine. Can i ask where you found the squad numbers only reason i am asking is someone updated the Hearts ones for the new season and i couldnt find them anywhere. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ah cool Hearts aren't that quick was thinking it might have been from the Spl or Sfa squad lists. What format are you going with. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:34, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just go with that. According to his wiki page he is also a goalkeeping coach at the club he is 41 years old so probably just become a full time coach. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:59, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

The Original Barnstar
Just a little bit of appreciation for your growth as an editor over the past few weeks, how've you've gone from a somewhat-disruptive editor to one who nrecognises the principles and policies of Wikipedia. Glad to see you're also joining in some discussions over at WP:FOOTBALL - long may it continue! Cheers, GiantSnowman 16:05, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace

Hi there - I've just had a quick look to see if I can find any policy related to this, and I can't. I'm positive it exists, but where, I don't know! However, if memory serves me right, I think that only the user in question is supposed to move their userspace into mainspace, unless otherwise requested. Either something to do with licensing, or something to do with politeness - or indeed both. Regards, GiantSnowman 18:42, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, just ask them if they mind you moving the content into mainspace - I'm sure it won't be an issue. GiantSnowman 19:13, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Gibberish

Excuse me, but your recent statement on my talk page left me fairly confused, to say the least. While there is not much room for misinterpretation, except perhaps for the missing "d" at the end of the verb, edit summaries usually always use the form "Reverted to revision <revision number> by <user>: <reason>" when edits are reverted via the "undo"-link. So where should I have suggested that your last comment at WT:FOOTY has been gibberish? o.O --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 14:59, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I never said anywhere that you have written such stuff... o.O Just examine the edit summary line once more and you will come to the same conclusion (the keys to the riddle are the word "by" and the position of the colon). Anyway... have a nice day as well, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 16:12, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, Soccer-holic never implied that you made a "gibberish" edit. The edit summary says that he reverted TO a revision by you, not that he reverted a revision by you. – PeeJay 23:16, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Question

I wouldn't worry about it. You added the link to the Sligo Rovers website in good faith, whereas a lot of other people have apparently added it as spam in the past. You'll be fine. – PeeJay 00:35, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reply

Yeah, I'm gonna keep the flags off next years MLS transfer page when I create it. – Michael (talk) 21:50, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it would be appreciated if you could spend a minute at Help:Using_talk_pages#Indentation or Wikipedia:Indentation. Some of your discussion page postings have been hard to follow once replies happen. Thanks --ClubOranjeT 12:17, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Think thats it done Warburton1368 (talk) 16:54, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have actually put a loan out section in i have just hidden it. You can unhide it if you wish. Warburton1368 (talk) 17:04, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Warburton1368 (talk) 17:14, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2011-12 Celtic F.C. season

Hey Duck I don't know if you noticed the changes I made to the table here do you think it is an improvement or has it made the page worse? Adam4267 (talk) 21:55, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Duck, please don't add it to any other articles just yet because I am going to put it through a trial run (i.e filling in players stats) as I am worried it will be hard to read and that some more changes may need to be made. I am thinking of making the line after each Red card column much bolder so it is easier to distinguish each competition from the next. Any ideas you have to improve the table would be welcome. Adam4267 (talk) 23:43, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Once it's been tested it would be fine. My only concern is there are some that would be best staying the way they are purely for consistency on previous years. I.e the rangers, Motherwell, Hibs and hearts pages most of the others have had little or no consistency over the years so would be fine to change as it would be much easier to edit a single table. The only reason they weren't set up like that was because hawing looked through previous seasons I felt there was no already available table that adaquitly did that. Warburton1368 (talk) 07:23, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Duck I've looked but can't figure out a way to embolden any lines so feel free to start adding the table to other article if you wish. Or if you can figure out how, make changes to the table yourself. Adam4267 (talk) 19:40, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Evening

Just wondering would you would think about adding a bigger intro and adding a few more up to date caption photos to List of Scottish football transfers 2011–12. Also i noticed you hadn't commented on the TfD although you did comment on the original debate at wiki football re live scoring updates. not sure if you noticed it thanks. Warburton1368 (talk) 22:40, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ill take a look. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:24, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thats how i would lay it out just undo if you don't like otherwise very well sourced looks good. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:01, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem didn't take to long. You have done a good job with it. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:35, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

Sorry never realised been using an ipad lately which is totally incompatible with the undo and rollback feature enabled on my account all it takes is a slight touch and you cant stop it and half the time you dont notice its done it. Sorry i undid the rollback so is back to your edit. Warburton1368 (talk) 18:22, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Division 1 season pages

Yeah its been a bit of a challenge creating the task force as its above my wiki skill base but getting there with help which means ive not updated the season articles this weekend. Thats funny because i tried the same thing myself yesterday making the exact change you did. It was a pre existing template which appears not to be changeable. I have mailed the creator of the template to ask if it can be changed to make that field optional. As im not aware of another one. If i don't get a reply i will have a look for another pre existing template tomorrow night or may need to look into creating one. As i think this is a stumbling block that will keep coming up without one. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:54, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I really hope so. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:54, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Think were both having a bad day. You fixed my mistake and i fixed yours. Whats your opinion do we really need the total along the bottom i personally think one total column is enough. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:29, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should just remove them from them all its to many totals to update. I don't have much time tonight will do it tomorrow. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:47, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Task Force

It will be all articles although i suspect it will be a very gradual process. I will take a good run at it as soon as i can get an admin to activate the template banner. Ive had a request in for the last three days but no admin has looked at it. Im hoping it will be all ready to roll after the weekend. Might need a bit more work though. Where we go from there will depend on what we decide should be the main aims of the force. Warburton1368 (talk) 22:24, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When I set up the Manchester United task force, I went to WP:BOTREQ and requested a bot to add the task force tag to all articles in Category:Manchester United F.C. You might consider requesting a bot to do the same for articles relating to the Scotland task force. – PeeJay 23:04, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree using a bot to tag is a good idea. Im just doing the main ones to get us started. We would need to compile a list of categories to get it to tag to. There is a lot out there for scottish football. I would suggest scottish football seasons and club seasons cup seasons as a good one to request a bot to tag as that would be a nightmare to do. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:45, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ive left a message on the bot request page and will wait for a reply. Should cover the main articles to be tagged. Just need to wait and see what the response we get. Having tagged the articles earlier i ran the assessment page to make sure everything was working and it is. Warburton1368 (talk) 22:27, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ive left messages on his talk page three times and got no reply he is an active editor so he is clearly not interested in helping. Have left a message at wp footy to see if anyone else is aware of a way to remove it or knows of another template. Yeah the fixture list are covered by copyright until the matches are played so they shouldn't be there. Something i thought of is to hide the fixtures until played. Just an idea. I believe once everything is tagged we are ready to go if we can get some more editors to sign up. We would then need to decide on our aims for the project. A few i thought of for instance would be to try and get the SPL teams up to good article standard and to create and improve the Scottish Cup articles for all years same with Scottish League Cup. And to identify articles within the scope of the project that dont exist for us to create and ones that need improved. Warburton1368 (talk) 23:08, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah could wait forever for them to reply similar requests have also been ignored. They seem to concentrate on other tasks. I don't mind doing it but will be slowed down over the next few days as have the hearts Europa leave match tonight and out at the Edinburgh festival tonmorow but will get back to it on Saturday. Expect to get all done by mid next week and then cam concentrate back on what matters. It's amazing how many articles i have found that didn't even have the project banner. Warburton1368 (talk) 08:28, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi could you have a look at the discussion page of the talk page could use your reply. Warburton1368 (talk) 10:59, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing top out i had totally forgotten it existed. Been one of those weeks. Warburton1368 (talk) 23:09, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead have been planning on doing it just haven't had time. Yeah as far as i am aware we all should be able to. Warburton1368 (talk) 23:19, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scott Allan

Hi, I've sorted it out for you, mainly grammar and wording. Cheers, GiantSnowman 13:46, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging

Hi sorry been very busy with not much time as nobody replied to my bot request i have spent the last three days tagging articles with Scotland=yes tagged just under 2 thousand so far with loads more to do. To be honest the whole class scale to me isn't so important at the moment. In my personal opinion i would class them as start however i believe the majority are classed as stubs. Feel free to change if you wish. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:43, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Break

I have decided to take a break from wiki for a few days as I really don't need it. Anyway thanks for being nice. Most of the main things are tagged haven't done non international players although someone has tagged a few of them but mostly they arrent done. Thanks. Warburton1368 (talk) 10:23, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have now reported user ANI he is ip hoping and keeps changing Ayr United F.C. to part time so you may wish to add this to your watchlist he changed the list of fully pro leagues again. I will be taking a break from tonight but will still get any messages left for me on my talkpage. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:32, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

DRN notice

This is to inform you that you have been listed as an involved party in a request for dispute resolution made at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard#Wikipedia:WikiProject Football.2FFully professional leagues.2C Ayr United F.C.. Regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 13:28, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

HI thanks for tagging some more articles appreciate it thats us at 3,812 articles tagged which is good going. I replied to your entry on the talk page re scottish national manager importance level sorry its a bit late. Warburton1368 (talk) 23:45, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just go for that. It was the day we started getting more members. Warburton1368 (talk) 13:14, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
no problem will have a look tonight. Warburton1368 (talk) 14:22, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish taskforce

No problems, I think if we follow/copy the layout of WP:FOOTY (after all, they are our parent project) then it'll be fine. If/when I have time I'll change the rest of the layout to match it, unless anyone else beats me to it! Also thanks for sorting out Obi's stats, was meaning to do that at some point today. Cheers, GiantSnowman 15:22, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Images

Ooh, sorry, images is one of my week points - as a new & inexperienced editor I think I had a go at uploading some pictures, and they all got deleted, which has put me off ever since! For more information, have a read of Wikipedia:Upload - if it meets the 'free content' specifications as outlined there, then I think you upload to Commons. Cheers, GiantSnowman 23:34, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hope you don't mind me jumping in - but you can also try the Flickr Upload bot to move the file to commons, it brings across licensing and attribution information for you which I've found is a help. Camw (talk) 23:57, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you want to upload a new image and add it to an article in place of an older one, then be bold and do it! GiantSnowman 00:29, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Scottish taskforce new articles

Oh okay. I almost forget that. Thanks!  tatasport  my talk  12:07, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Falkirk

That's annoying will take a look at improving then when I'm back at a computer later. I had held off creating them as the sources are conflicting on various things some even date of birth. Falkirk haven't created profiles of any of there squad and as they all came from the youth squads there hardly any sound sources. Will just create any other ones I have and improve then when Falkirk get there act together. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:08, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just proves my point Jay Fultons page had a totally different dob to the source i have found also it was wrong he made his debut last season not this one. Time to fix dale fulton. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:10, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing i have discovered his falkirk players have squad numbers. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:38, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The fulton articles were terrible but hey if your not quick but thats them fixed now. He got them from here [1] They dont have them for league matches so can only presume you have to register squad numbers for the cups. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:57, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Soccerbase

Dont know if you have noticed but soccerbase is terrible for first division players ive sent off three emails about players with wrong stats. Warburton1368 (talk) 22:04, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Articles

Ill have a look at fixing them later tonight just trying to complete livi season article for last season. Can i ask are you planning on creating more season articles for second division. Only asking because i am planning on creating stirling albion article tomorrow just dont want to end up having two articles. Warburton1368 (talk) 18:30, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What a nice website that is. I will maybe have a go at doing that one myself if i find the time one day this week. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:43, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just in the process of creating the Albion Rovers Page. That website appears not to be the real site see [2].Warburton1368 (talk) 18:13, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know rather odd its the same with East fifes page. Ive done Albion Rovers, Stirling and Queens Park. Although the transfer section has proven tricky but ive just found lists of transfer for second and third division on STV Website. Going to work through the third division teams. Is your hand ok.Warburton1368 (talk) 16:06, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Would you mind having a look at some of the transfer sections on some of the new season pages. They appear to be heavily not my thing. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:47, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Im not so bad at creating the pages but the transfer sections are a total nightmare for me. Next season creating all these articles at the beginning. so much easier to do week by week rather than all at once. Warburton1368 (talk) 22:01, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just wondering are you planning on creating Arbroath and brechin seasons. I can start them tomorrow night no problem but don't want to create something you are planning on doing.Warburton1368 (talk) 22:41, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thats them improved. Could do with further expansion but not much info available on them yet.Warburton1368 (talk) 21:41, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Arbroath, Brechin and falkirk

Ill start creating them. Thanks for letting me know about the falkirk squad profiles. Some of them are wrong so appreciate that. Warburton1368 (talk) 14:52, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Errors

Yeah, I get those occasionally, no idea how to rectify them I'm afraid. I'd advise you to inquire over at [[Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)], to see if there is a solution, as yours seem to be much worse than mine! Cheers, GiantSnowman 17:57, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fife Cup

Is the Fife cup essentially a friendly tournament or is it a proper cup. Struggling to find out much about it. Dunfermline are playing Raith rovers tonight don't know whether to create a new section for it or list under friendlies. Warburton1368 (talk) 18:35, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Think ill create a separate section and table for it to be on the safe side.Warburton1368 (talk) 19:06, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Never heard of it at all. I had heard of the Fife cup just not exactly what it was. I hit a snag with updating the stats on Raith rovers for the Fife cup it appears the template only takes a maximum of four cups. So i managed to update the dunfermline stats ok as they only participate in three competitions. The result is included just not the stats for it.Warburton1368 (talk) 18:32, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just the stats tables the disciplinary isn't a problem because its basically a wiki table so can be amended no problem. Hadn't thought of that Other would probably be our only option it only affects a handful of teams so would be easy to do. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:48, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jimmy Greenock

For the creation of this new article for the former Queen of the South player from the 1950s, I do have information from a friend of mine about his football career details but I have no idea how to create a wiki page from scratch.

I have him listed under our Scottish Football Task Force - Articles to be created.

Could I list Greenock's career information that I have on here in a message and could you create the page for me at all?

Here is all the information for him:

James "Jimmy" Greenock

Born in Motherwell. Signed for Queen of the South from Wishaw Juniors in July 1951.

League Season / Appearances / Goals 1951-52 26 0 1952-53 29 5 1953-54 30 3 1954-55 22 2 1955-56 0 0 1956-57 25 1 1957-58 32 1 1958-59 24 1

He was 8 seasons at Queen of the South (including his season injured 1955-56). Played in the Number 6 shirt for Queens (the old left half position). Queens were playing the the old Scottish Division One during the 1950s.

Played from 1951-59 in 236 League, League Cup and Scottish Cup matches, scoring 15 goals (3 goals in the League Cup and zero in the Scottish Cup).

1955-56 season did not play due to a bad injury.

League Cup Goals

1 versus Rangers, lost 5-2 at Ibrox Park - Season 1951-52 1 versus Motherwell, lost 2-1 at Fir Park - Season 1957-58 1 versus Motherwell, lost 2-1 at Palmerson Park - Season 1958-59

Greenock played in 48 League and Scottish Cup matches between 1951-59

Queen of the South terminated his contract at the end of the 1958-59 season and he went to play in the USA and played for the Polish Falcons in the US Soccer League.

Might be able to find his death record and birth record through the general register. Leave it with me. Warburton1368 (talk) 20:43, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok got you a source of neil brown for queen of the south games total and managed to locate the location of death but not exact date as only way you can get that apparently through gro is ordering a copy of the death certificate for £12 pounds. There was no obituary in the Scotsman newspaper tried a couple of others. Not sure what the local newspapers are or else to look for it. I would use the source you found to cover the death as a ref. Warburton1368 (talk) 21:32, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You did a very good job of the article. Ive added a ref to show he played for Wishaw juniors. Warburton1368 (talk) 16:08, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Holiday

Just to say im going to be on holiday from tomorrow night. I was wondering if you are around if you would be willing to update the season articles from the midweek cup games and the league games next weekend. If not then its ok ill do it when i come back. Thanks Warburton1368 (talk) 19:15, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for updating the season articles. Just to let you know ive put a request in to change my username to Edinburgh Wanderer which will hopefully happen soon. Just wanted to remove my surname. Hopefully this one will redirect to the new one. Warburton1368 (talk) 19:39, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thats my new user name set up although i have lost some of my old edits but you know where i am if you need me. Edinburgh Wanderer 15:06, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did but after one day it feels like ive never been away. Edinburgh Wanderer 15:14, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar

Hi there. Firstly, thanks for all the hard work put into Scottish football articles on the site thus far, keep it up. However, I suggest you read this article before correcting any further grammatical "issues" on said articles - namely, clubs are plural 90% of the time, so "Aberdeen have", not "Aberdeen has". Thanks! — Joseph Fox 04:21, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New article Kevin Holt

Its probably an apprentice contract which most clubs have but to me he is playing for a notable team in a notable division so hes as entitled as anyone. Although you just never know with the way some AFDs go. I Would certainly vote keep. If you want a further opinion i would ask User:GiantSnowman what he thinks as out of us all hes probably the most experienced on these things. Ill ask him if you want. Edinburgh Wanderer 18:24, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine to me; he has played in a fully-professional league so meets WP:NFOOTBALL. Even young players in the Premiership will have been studying at least up to the end of high school, while there are a number of older players in other notable leagues who have started studying; there are two at Wycombe Wanderers, and we shouldn't forget Kenny Deuchar, who was a practising doctor even while in the SPL. Studying doesn't impact upon his place as professional footballers. GiantSnowman 18:51, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Player Stats

Yeah although would be a big job to start with. Not so much the spl ones as i have done them before but the SFL could be tricky as soccerbase and soccerway sometimes miss matches. But definitely up for helping. Edinburgh Wanderer 19:52, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ive been watching the game too Shamrock have played well most of the match wanted them to get something out of it. Yeah that sounds good happy to do that. Edinburgh Wanderer 20:42, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you need any help with Career stats I can create the tables for you, as I am getting a bit experienced with them now. Adam4267 (talk) 21:54, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sources are starting to annoy me i am still happy to help. If i am honest the third division will probably be the hardest. To prove a point have a look at User:Edinburgh Wanderer/List of Livingston F.C. Managers and then look at [[3]] they have dates and stats totally wrong even managers down twice when they only managed the team once. Having to double source everything and its proving difficult. Dear DUCKISJAMMMY, hello. I would rather Filip Mentel wasn't deleted as I think despite him not meeting our WP:nfootball, his being at Man City, playing for U17 U21 for Slovakia, and at Clyde [[4]] would seem to indicate enough for us to want to perhaps keep the article on him. A look at Slovakia national under-21 football team would seem to me to make it a bit of a shame to add another red link there. There is no mention there that his dad is the U21 gk coach! But if you really want it deleting I think you would probably win an Afd. So I'll leave it in your court. Best wishes, (Msrasnw (talk) 20:26, 30 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Do you think it is possible he might meet WP:GNG If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article? Via this [5] and [6] and this [7] and this [8]. Best wishes, (Msrasnw (talk) 22:12, 30 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]
