Hello, Dilipdutt, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Gujarati; did you know there is a Gujarati Wikipedia? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! -- ProtossPylon 09:06, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making any new pages in Gujarati. Here on the English Wikipedia, English is expected in all articles. I highly recommend visiting the Gujarati Wikipedia instead. ProtossPylon 09:13, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, ભાવસૂચક આંક[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, ભાવસૂચક આંક. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Index (economics). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Index (economics) – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP 10:51, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

February 2013[edit]

The article Discovery Channel Gujarat has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, for two reasons. (1) The text of the page was a copy of content published elsewhere, apparently infringing copyright. It is not acceptable to psot content copied from elsewhere unless you provide clear proof that the content is eitehr in teh public domain or licensed for free reuse under terms compatible with Wikipedia's licensing terms. (2) The article was an unnecessary duplication of an articel we already have on the same subject, nameely Gujarat. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:06, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Cellular respiration. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:09, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what your purpose was in creating the latest version of Discovery Channel Gujarat, but the article had no content at all apart from a number of dead links. Accordingly, it has been deleted in accordance with the speedy deletion criterion for articles with no substantive content. I shall also post you a (somewhat belated) welcome message, which will include links to various pages that may help you to understand what is acceptable as a Wikipedia article. I also suggest that at this stage you try making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way, you will be able to gradually get used to how Wikipedia works, and any mistakes you make will be small ones, so that you won't lose substantial amounts of work. After a while, you will know your way around well enough to be able to create new articles without the likelihood that they will be deleted. JamesBWatson (talk) 09:25, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Thakore, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 09:34, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Thakore. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. DVdm (talk) 09:35, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Thakore, you may be blocked from editing.
Your edits have been automatically marked as vandalism and have been automatically reverted. The following is the log entry regarding this vandalism: Thakore was changed by Dilipdutt (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.863263 on 2015-05-03T09:37:08+00:00 . Thank you. The article Dilip Dantani has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Eeekster (talk) 07:53, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dilip Dantani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Eeekster (talk) 07:53, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And I've reinstated the speedy deletion tag, which you blanked out in spite of the very clear instructions above. Again, do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. LX (talk, contribs) 15:38, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I undid your cut n paste move[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Priyanka Gandhi a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Priyanka Vadra. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 20:11, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. An edit you recently made to Indira Gandhi seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. Only warning[edit]

If you continue this crusade of yours to change Gandhi to Ghandy on articles of the Nehru-Gandhi family again you will be blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 04:23, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
