My talk page

Thanks for helping with the links on my talk page. Mine is starting to get a little to large so I want to make a third archive page. It currently looks like this

<table style="float: left; margin-bottom: 3em; width: 100%; border: #99B3FF solid 1px">
<tr><td><center>Main — Archive 1 —Archive 2
</center></tr>
</table>

What I've been trying to do is add a third section but I've only gotten it to look like this:

MainArchive 1Archive 2

Archive 3

What I want to happen though is to have the Archive 3 link stay on that top line. If you know what I'm doing wrong let me know. Thanks RENTASTRAWBERRY FOR LET? röck 05:25, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Brian Dunlop

Hello. From 13:59 to 14:02 on 16 January, 24.16.176.98 vandelized Brian Dunlop by adding to the article that Dunlop died in 2003 and

"He was execued in late 2003 after found raping hundreds of dogs and children. He had contracted over 32 deadly diseases and had given them to over 47 children he raped. 13 of the children he raped he killed to pevent them from alerting the police. For his execution, he was shot mutiple times, cut and beaten severley, inhumanley castrated, forcibly raped by dozens of dogs, and then brutally hung. His dead body was fed to a pack of wild dogs."

Brian Dunlop is still alive and kicking. His website is at http://www.briandunlop.com. I picked you at random from the list of admins. I would do something myself, but I'm not an admin. Thanks for your attention to this. --Think Fast 17:27, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Biff loman9

Hi, I believe User:Biff loman9 is probably the same user as has been casuing hassles over at Gorilla. The anonymous user has been continuosly reverting good edits and insulting other editors both on their user pages and thorugh edit summaries for the last week. --Martyman-(talk) 22:47, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

That's as may be and if so action should be taken. As you know I'm huge supporter of Martyman's RfA but I nevertheless reverted Ian's reversion, putting the Biff Ioman9 comment back, with unsigned and with a comment from myself that this user has little history. I think that's a much better approach than reverting him which will just annoy him. Hope you agree. (I watch talk pages, you can respond here) This nom is going to sail through, the 'crats will give that comment little heed. ++Lar: t/c 00:04, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
I was tossing up whether to do that or what I did. There is sufficent comment there to show that he is only a new user, so that his vote (with no support evidence) should have very litlle bearing. So ok. Cheers -- Ianblair23 (talk) 00:24, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
No worries. WP:BITE applies, was my thinking. Even to vandals and trolls. His statement flies in the face of what 60 people are saying to the good of Martyman but we need to show by our actions that we're better than the trolls, because we are. Happy editing! ++Lar: t/c 00:29, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

School Stub Templates

I noticed that you moved some two word templates so that the state name became one word (i.e. "New Jersey" --> "NewJersey") example. I was just wondering if there was policy regarding this that recommends that templates not have a "_" in it, or if you just thought it would be better that way? Please respond on my talk page. Thanks! --ʀ6ʍɑʏ89 23:51, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Commonwealth Games

Many (maybe all) of the Commonwealth Games sites have been set up assuming there will be separate pages for (for example) Australia at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, Cayman Islands at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. I wonder if it makes more sense to have just one for each country as seems to have been done to the Olympics. The Australia at 2002 site could be moved, and other sites merged into it.

I have moved the Catman Islands 1994 one. -- Beardo 12:19, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Another topic

Hi! I came across your article Alfred Moussambani. I appreciate your work on athlete bios, but in this case (and maybe others) I think it falls below the bar for notability. I'm pretty inclusionist when it comes to athletes, but Moussambani has achieved nothing except for participating at the Commonwealth Games, where he didn't even advance from the heats... no Olympic participation, and I checked everything.. no African Junior Championships, no Central African Championships. The bottom line is: Is participation at the Commonwealth Games enough grounds for inclusion in Wikipedia? Punkmorten 08:23, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Suburbs of Sydney nicknames

I've added the "prod" template to the article Suburbs of Sydney nicknames, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Suburbs of Sydney nicknames. If you remove the dated prod template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --A Y Arktos\talk 08:51, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Breaker Morant

Hi. I wondered why the movie, 'Breaker' Morant, has the single quotes in the title. I see that IMDb also has them, but is that the norm? I'd never seen the title that way before. —wwoods 09:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm in favor of moving it to Breaker Morant (film). I would have just done it, but on checking the edit history I saw that you'd moved it from there, so I thought I'd better see how you felt about it. —wwoods 05:45, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Bolded quotation marks

Hello! I've noticed that you have bolded the quotation marks on some songs. I have not found an explicit guideline concerning this, but I have posted a question on the talk page for WP:MoS. Personally I think they shouldn't be bold, because the quotation marks are not part of the actual title. --Bensin 12:05, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

The MoS does say that the double quotation marks should not be bolded. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Punctuation. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 15:31, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Bill Carney.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Bill Carney.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fixing links that aren't broken

I'm confused as to why you are fixing redirects that aren't broken (particularly on talk pages, although I personally don't see that as a problem). You recently did this on the Wikpedia talk page for the Japan MOS and your contributions page seems to indicate that you've done it a lot more times, too. Maybe I'm missing something.
