Hi FERAL is KINKY, and Welcome to Wikipedia!
The article you seem to be referring to is MC Kinky. This article, I have not edited. There are multiple editors, but I for sure am not one of them, per this.
In saying that, I have read what you have said. I'm baffled and somewhat confused. Cited in the article, which I presume is about you, are reliable sources - according to you "the pres things you put up are jokes we created." Please be more specific at which ones you are referring to. Also, can you, in a calm approach - tell me what you'd like to be done. I'll be able to help you out. But I won't be able to, if you don't specifically address the problem properly. Thank you, —MelbourneStartalk 12:07, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

Croatia Airlines

Excuse me. I just need to correct your mistake. Are you blind or you are selective blindness? The historical aircraft do not show on the page. If you still response me like a stupid people, trust me I will not give you peace. (ANG99 (talk) 11:14, 28 March 2013 (UTC)).

Yes excuse you. Firstly, how about you start assuming good faith and be civil - you may get away with that behaviour on your talk page, certainly not on mine. Now, to the issue: you removed sourced content from an article [1] - without an edit summary (something you've been warned repeatedly to use), so I don't know what 'mistake' you're referring to on my part, but this is your mistake: WP:BOOMERANG. Cheers, —MelbourneStartalk 12:36, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Here's a thing,

1. Someone has duplicated the resource twice on the page. You should know this right. I just remove one of them.

2. There is no close table so all the data will be on centre including reference. You should see that, but instead you blame me to correct the mistake therefore I use selective blindness that you didn't look carefully.

3. I do not put any reference as I want you to spot on the mistake.

4. Sorry for my negative response to you. (ANG99 (talk) 11:14, 28 March 2013 (UTC)).

(edit conflict)Further, your edit did remove misplaced content - that I now understand. However, it's beneficial you use an edit summary, at all times, when removing sourced content. This helps not only other people know what you're doing, but avoids potential edit wars and heated discussions. Nobody here is "stupid", "trust me", and lets keep things at "peace", thank you. —MelbourneStartalk 12:51, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
In reply to your message above, I have partially responded to it, in my edit conflict message (just above this message). Point 2, when comparing your removal to the previous revision, it appeared as if tables were removed, with sources - and because you provided no edit summary - I reverted. On Point 4, I understand you there - look, it is Wikipedia, sometimes we do get in the heat of the moment with things. I have before, as I'm sure most editors have. Let's for future references, keep things calm and cool. If someone has warned you for something you haven't done, or you have a valid explanation, kindly asking them to explain why they warned you, will go a long way, trust me.
Anyway, if you do need anything, please drop me a message anytime. Regards, —MelbourneStartalk 12:57, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

JFKU

Good'ay Melbourne. First: very, very classy user page. (I am jealous.) Second, thanks for taking a look at JFKU. Hopefully your edits and comments will be effective. Third, you mentioned biography as a rationale for reversion; actually, I don't think that guideline applies as no person in particular is the subject of the article or those edits. (Don't revert anything on that account though!) Again, you've got the best user page I've seen in quite awhile. – S. Rich (talk) 05:11, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Hey S Rich!
First compliment for my user page - thank you very much for the compliment! Took me a while to work around, but it looks like all that work has paid off.
In regards to JFKU - I had noticed my rationale was a little lopsided - so I found a redlink category in the article, I removed it, and in the edit summary noted: "rm redlink cat; + previous edit summary was meant to be: 'addition of poorly sourced/NPOV content'" - just to be safe!
Again, thanks for the compliment, has put a smile on my face that's for sure! Best, —MelbourneStartalk 05:26, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
And you might note that EW has earned himself an indef block, including userpage comments. This has been a very satisfying date for me. EW gave himself a one-way ticket to Blocksville thanks to the most decisive admin'ing (by Tide rolls) that I've seen, and I think I've found a userpage which I shall "plagiarize" with great satisfaction (if I ever get around to it). All the best. (No response expected.) – S. Rich (talk) 05:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
BAHAHA "Blocksville"... Geez, that place has an ever–growing population. I had a look at the AN/I discussion and the editor's talk page - in a way, it is a bit of a shame we weren't able to properly resolve the issue without them having to put up the NPA/Sock threat card. Oh well. Yes, Tide rolls knows their stuff - works very nice and swiftly.
In regards to the user page, go right ahead... if you need any help with it, just drop me a message! I always get the last word in! MWAHAHAHA! MelbourneStartalk 05:44, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi MelbourneStar, I'm trying to assume good faith on that 220.x.x.x IP here. So, I'm trying to discuss it with him on his talk page. But, if he refuses to discuss and continues. then I'll report him for disruptive editing. Refer to his talk page. Cheers. Arctic Kangaroo 04:31, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

That's fine, I agree with you. This edit, although now explains what they're doing, is in violation of WP:3RR - but if you agree with the rationale given, then it's probably best to leave as is. If not, we can ask the IP to undo their edit and further explain in detail, or a report here will do. Thanks, 04:35, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
I see that now he's willing to discuss. So, I have given him some encouraging words and removed the AIV report already. Perhaps, you also want to get involved in the discussion? Like you, he's also an Australian. Will play it by ear. Arctic Kangaroo 04:40, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Well, it looks like a lengthy discussion has been avoided, after all [5]. Good job! —MelbourneStartalk 04:49, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

No contact

With the Ignatieff issue resolved, I like to ask if you cease contacting me for any reason from now on. 220.239.167.151 (talk) 04:41, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

That's great to know - however on contacting you, that is completely up to your editing. If you vandalize articles as you have done, you give me little choice. Thank you, —MelbourneStartalk 04:42, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Same for me. Arctic Kangaroo 04:45, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Tallest buildings

In that case, if you want to define it by suburb, then Eureka is not the tallest building in Melbourne. It is the tallest building in Southbank, Victoria. The same would go for Australia 388 if built. The tallest in Melbourne would be 120 Collins St. This is what you have to do if you want to do it by "city". However what you are doing is listing by SUBURB. Further, as far as the Gold Coast is concerned you would have to break it up by Surfers Paradise, Southport, etc etc.

If you really wanted to do it by city, ABS defined the Greater Capital City Statistical Areas for all the state capitals, and these are cleancut. (these are the areas by which Syd includes 4.6 mill people, Melb 4.2 mill, Bris 2.2, etc as I'm sure you're aware). But then the problem is that ABS does not clearly define regional cities with some regional cities being part of huge statistical divisions covering many towns. Doing it like this is way too complicated, and you can't decide on boundaries yourself which constitutes OR. I think this kind of table is pretty redundant anyway but if it remains the only clear-cut, non-OR ways to do it are to include only capital cities and use the GCCSAs (useless as cities like the GC with very tall buildings can't be included), or to do it by clear boundaries of Sydney, NSW (postcode 2000), etc which is way too complicated given the existence of high rises in many different subursb througout cities (eg Southbank, Parramatta, Surfers Paradise, North Sydney, Southport, etc AND all the CBDs). As such the only non-disputable, non-OR and non-useless way to do it is by state.--Saruman-the-white (talk) 03:58, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

First of all: Southbank is an inner-city suburb - and if you read on your talk page, I clearly said, "List of tallest buildings in Sydney documents buildings within the Sydney CBD and any other inner-city" which goes for Melbourne and any other capital city too.
Parramatta is not an "inner-city" it's an outer-city CBD. There's a big difference. A 20 kilometre difference.
Southbank is an inner city - it's less than 1 kilometre from the CBD.
In Parramatta, there's a proposal put by the council for a 336 metre tall building - using your logic, if Parramatta really was in the Sydney CBD, that tower wouldn't be built. Height restrictions in Sydney and inner-cities.
I understand what you mean, in regards to the 4.6 mil figure for Sydney, which includes Parramatta and of course other cities within the Metro. That is for Sydney, and it's metro. If you want the population for Sydney CBD - it's a lot smaller, that's for sure. List of tallest buildings in Sydney and List of tallest buildings in Parramatta have been split, because they are 20 k's away; different rules and regulations apply to their buildings; etc. etc. I can go on.. (I'm sure you get the picture.) —MelbourneStartalk 04:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

The problem is this. It is not up to you to decide what is inner city and what is not. Where is the line drawn? 2 km? 3? 6? Is North Sydney inner city? How about Strathfield? How about Southport? The fact that you are designating and defining inner cities is OR. You can't just define inner city areas by yourself. Much too ambiguous for Wikipedia.--Saruman-the-white (talk) 04:38, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm not... maybe if you actually read the said articles with their sources, you'd know that the description of inner city v outer city is correct. —MelbourneStartalk 04:40, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Parramatta City Council - "As the geographical, commercial and cultural capital of Western Sydney, Parramatta is the second largest CBD in Sydney and the sixth largest in the country." A CBD in Sydney's metro, or a CBD in Sydney's CBD - which on do you think they're referring to? —MelbourneStartalk 04:44, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Obviously in Sydney's metro. How on earth could Parramatta be located in Sydney's CBD? A tiny area located 20 km away. My problem is: The ABS does not define what constitutes "inner city". There is no current definition of what would constitute inner Sydney or inner Melb or inner GC(!) or inner Parramatta. My question was: are you defining this "inner city" as 3 km radius from the GPO? 4 km radius? 6 km radius? (then there are non state capitals with no GPO....) So then maybe 5 km radius from the CBD (ie Sydney 2000, Melb 3000, Parramatta 2XXX) etc? or 6km 7km constituting inner city? But the problem is YOU do not have the power to go defining what inner city is. There are pre-existing defined Geographical entities which you can choose from, namely, suburbs (ie tallest building in suburb of melbourne, tallest in suburb of south bank, tallest in suburb of surfers paradise etc), OR there is GCCSAs which only work for state capitals so are not very useful, OR there are LGAs, which are problematic given the same reason as suburbs as some of these are tiny and some (ie Brisbane City Council) are enormous. But there are NO defined areas such as "inner city [Syd/Mel/Adelaide/GC/Canberra] etc. These would have to be arbitrarily defined by yourself, presumably by choosing a number of km's in rradius from the CBD in question. But unfortunately you cannot do that on wiki. That is OR. You can only use the units which have already been authoritatively defined.--Saruman-the-white (talk) 04:56, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

For goodness sake this going absolutely nowhere, to the point where if were to leave things at the State's - I'd be happy to agree. We arguing different points. I have not applied any of my own measurements or facts or figures, or whatever you want to call it to this - as I am well familiar with OR. Give me the courtesy there, thanks.
I personally don't know the inner city suburbs of Sydney are - what I do know, and what I am arguing is: Parramatta - is not an inner city suburb. It's in the Greater Western Sydney region of Sydney Metro.
I'll also note that Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and Emporis both differentiate Parramatta and Sydney - [6]; [7]. As we do with List of tallest buildings in Sydney and List of tallest buildings in Parramatta. —MelbourneStartalk 05:27, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

But then you have these awkward question: What about North Sydney? What about Chatswood? Where is the line drawn? Is Southport included in Gold Coast despite its distance from Surfers Paradise? Unfortunately trying to put a divider between inner and outer parts of the city is fraught with too many ambiguities as there is no clear methodology for designating the dividing line. It will just result in endless disputes. Do it if you must, including buildings already build only, but it will be a messy list and will result in people arguing over the geography for the simple reason that the entities of "inner sydney" "inner melbourne" etc do not exist as they have not been defined, whilst the entities of suburb, LGA, GCSSA, and (preferably and most simply) state do exist and are thus not disputable. Another reason that it is a bad idea is that as more and more high rises are built in suburban hubs such as Parramatta, Chatswood, Milton, Bowen Hills, West End, North Sydney, etc, we will have to have a 'tallest building in...' reference for all of these places containing at least one sizable high rise building.--Saruman-the-white (talk) 06:07, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Look, your concern is noted, as I'm sure mine is too. Parramatta doesn't have any tallest skyscrapers just yet. When that (if) it happens, then we can further discuss this. But I will leave things at the current revision - your one - because in my opinion, my revision isn't a must, at the moment. Thanks, —MelbourneStartalk 09:35, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Perhaps taking a read of the article, would be much appropriate? —MelbourneStartalk 06:29, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
I did, three minutes isn't really enough time to put down all of the details and since the user was continuing to edit the page there is no way to know what else they would add. Leaving it there for another 5-10 minutes isn't doing any harm and might have encouraged them to continue to work on it (or other articles in the future). Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 06:35, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
This was created before the article was created. One would assume, that they had completed their work in the sandbox, before moving it to the article space. If this article is deleted, they can always re-work it in the sandbox they specifically created for that article, and then move it back to article space. No big deal, no one is at fault. If you object to the CSD tag in it's current form, please feel free to remove it. —MelbourneStartalk 06:40, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

How to add source.

The source (usually the URL; ie. 'www.heraldsun.com.au') can be added to an article, at the end of the sentence/paragraph it's verifying, by doing using these: <ref> and </ref>.
For example, using 'www.heraldsun.com.au' as a source: <ref>www.heraldsun.com.au</ref>
Specifically in regards to the article in question - please find a reliable source (a newspaper article, perhaps) and cite it, using the method above; If you still are unsure, I can do it for you. Please keep in mind that Blogs; fansites; etc. are not reliable sources, and that Wikipedia must not be used as a source. Thanks, —MelbourneStartalk 10:40, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
