Your draft article, Draft:Ishaa Saha

[edit]

Hello, Moheen. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ishaa Saha".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:05, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: City ticket office

[edit]

Hello Moheen. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of City ticket office, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: This article isn't about any particular non-notable organization, its about a business unit for airlines ticket purchase more generally. That "city ticket offices" would now appear to be more or less obsolete not a reason for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 08:43, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Shirt58: When I created an article for a Bangladeshi company with references, people are doing like this without any discussion. But you keep thousands of unsourced articles. It is clear enwiki is doing kinship attitude that I felt very wrong, where I contribute more than 10 years, and I know that which should be notable or not. ~Moheen (keep talking) 08:51, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Moheen, the city ticket office (which I started) was not about a particular company, and did have a third-party source. Yes, it was a stub, and yes, it only had one source, but that is not grounds for speedy deletion under A7 (or any other clause of WP:CSD for that matter). @Shirt58:, though city ticket offices are rare in the US nowadays, they are still very common in much of the rest of the world, including South Asia (for example, Biman Bangladesh Airlines seems to have many retail "sales centers", apparently its name for city ticket offices).
As for "doing kinship attitude", I'm not entirely sure what that means (it is not a phrase used in English), but it sounds like you're suggesting that there is some sort of corruption, which is a serious accusation; please keep in mind that personal attacks are against Wikipedia policy. --Macrakis (talk) 18:32, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Alliance Française de Chittagong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Alliance française is notable, but per WP:BRANCH, most of its 850 local centers are not individually notable. Article cites only the organization itself. Searches of the usual Google types found no independent sources deeper than directory listings and brief mentions, nothing outside of the chapter's service area.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
